Bitcoin is indeed a safer investment strategy than many other options out there. It will always be worth something and the price won't crash down on a large scale instantly, during one hour. That means, that even if the price starts declining, you have your chances to panic sell, if you are afraid of losing your investment.

One other thing I'd like to point out here: your exit strategy (panic sell if you're afraid of losing your investment) concerns me.  Without some kind of specific plan and the ability to use that plan to override your emotions, how do you know when to sell?  If you simply use "panic" as a barometer, you will likely sell at the lows, only to see it rebound shortly thereafter because everyone is panicking at the lows.

Also note that if you're watching your investment on an hourly basis, you're trading, not investing.

I think you could ask the same of not only other altcoins but other investments. As  can be seen over the last few days bitcoin can be very volatile. From $5000 to $4300 and now back to $4700 in 3 days. Shares and gold can be like that but other investments take time eg art,collectibles,fine wines and vintage cars. An advantage of bitcoin is you can sell quickly if you need to. Some items above may take months.

Completely agree with you - bitcoin gives us super profits in a short time. The most important thing is to be able to use this tool. Often people buy at a high price, and then make a panic at a price that is below the purchase price. This mistake is made by beginners. But we need to have patience and wait for the price increase.

Definitely yes. Perhaps it needed to be done much earlier, when Bitcoin's price was lower. But since the Bitcoine continues to grow, you can successfully invest today and get a big profit in the near future.

An average savings account will give you about 3% a year. Gold is worth exactly the same as it was in November 2016, so no gains there.
Bitcoin is up by over 800% compared to 2016 prices. I'd say that's an incredible investment. A life changing one.

Well I guess investing bitcoins is good but do not put all your money there because we do not know then what might happen to your wallet I mean if you can forget your wallet or the password, just save what is enough for you to loss or just save your earnings in bitcoins if possible.

You just have to invest as what you can lose, we know that the price of bitcoin has sometimes dropped, so let's not focus on one, it's a good idea to invest bitcoin for the future but not all.

saving bitcoin or saving money is same good saving investment, i will concentrate to save bitcoin as saving the reason is bitcoin if comes uprise again the return profit is better than saving money, and i think the bitcoin bounce back again in the coming few days.

However, is risk with bitcoin investment is significantly higher than any real-world investment.

Honestly not higher risk if you are just investing in bitcoin and hold them for a long time with a safety wallet the only risk that i think in bitcoin if you are saving your bitcoin in trading site or any online wallet it is not safe better to use a good desktop wallet, hardware wallet or paper wallet and hold them for a long time. it can gives you an investment but it took for a long time but not the same as gold that it takes yearly small interest the different with bitcoin the price is increase fast and you can able to make profit in few weeks or months.
The risk if you are investing your bitcoin in altcoin or in ponzi or cloud mining site better to stay away to them ..

It's great, I know bitcoin could give us a huge profit in return for having invested in here. Since I was new and I'm not totally familiar with other ways just like traiding, but I would like to try it in the coming days.

Yes for me bitcoin is good to invest your money but not all maybe atleast 35% of your savings because bitcoin is still unpredictable it can still crash and lose its value though as of now it has a good velua appreciation you cannot depend on its stability.
