@crunchybrain this project launched without an ICO or pre-mine, you're welcome to buy some at any of the listed exchanges or mine some!

@maxneo2010 StocksExchange are aware of their exchange's post-processing bug (after 12 confirmations) that at times causes the funds to be released after 60 confirmations - we have an open line of communication for them fixing this on their exchange in order to reduce wait times.

diff became insane last hrs

Some unknown pool has a lot of hashrate. It's none of the four known pools. Difficulty already increased steadly in the past week or so when superpools had 250-350kH/s permanently, but today suddenly superpools found less and less blocks despite having the same strong hashrate. Considering that superpools now finds less than 20 blocks within two hours, the total network hashrate (the actual one, not the figure derived from the difficulty) must be above 750kH/s. All this happened despite the price remaining stable. People obviously bullish for the coming months.

EDIT: And it is gone. Difficulty from 120M down to 50M now.

When will it be listed on cryptopia?

It currently costs around 4 BTC to get listed on Cryptopia. This project did not have an ICO or a pre-mine, and these kind of funds would need to be crowd funded.

The Masari project hasn't crowd funded anything so far and does not plan to for the foreseeable future, nor do we endorse any unofficial crowd funding.

For the time being, these exchanges are available:
https://stocks.exchange/trade/MSR/BTC
https://www.southxchange.com/Market/Book/MSR/BTC

Together, they as a whole boast more than $100k in daily trading volume which for liquidity is sufficient available traffic at this current time.

Further developing the technology at hand is currently the highest priority, and will over time have exchanges like Poloniex list us based on differentiating features provided (and subsequently profit off of exchange fees) rather than how much BTC we're giving them for integration.

Many thanks for the explanation!

For added transparency to this project, I've added a "Funding" section in the Bitcointalk announcement page that describes the self-funded economic state of this project and a statement about my initial holdings of MSR.

Best regards,

I also just added a link to a Telegram channel for Masari, for those that would rather this medium than Discord.

What is the point of a cryptocurrency that is just a copy of Monero? What does this cryptocurrency do that Monero can't?

What is the point of a cryptocurrency that is just a copy of Monero? What does this cryptocurrency do that Monero can't?

What is the point of a cryptocurrency that is just a copy of Bytecoin? Monero was justified because Bytecoin is a fraud. It cemented itself even further when RingCT was implemented more than 2 years after its inception.

What is the point of a cryptocurrency that is just a copy of Monero? since Monero is fair and well established, that can't be a reason. Masari then hopes to bring in and implement new ideas that aren't in Monero, with a focus on scalability for mass adoption, and that needs time, as it did for Monero's anonymity deliverables.

Masari's on a good track so far, and even had a project out there recently that forked off Masari (though they refuse to retain copyright notice).

Stay tuned for when specifications are made public, as the community will hold us accountable to deliver new features not yet seen in the CryptoNote family, and it's not just going to be sub-addresses or multi-sig (both new upstream features coming from Monero).

I am trying to make sense of how the DAA performs at the moment.

You would think the DAA should adjust down when it took a full five hours (instead of two) to find the last 60 blocks. But it seems it doesn't, as it looks also for short-term variations and someone with massive hashrate is playing it at the moment with intermittent mining.

Anyone?

So you came here to ask a question and answer it yourself? Thanks for your "concern" and don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Fonero, really? Those scammers are almost as dumb as the XUN guys.

dug fonero at the start, at the time of low complexity, I found out that they are a team of liars and thieves, today, on the stock exchange, I sold all the lanterns, and bought the masari for these funds Smiley I believe in the Masari project!

Quote
Official website: http://fonero.org

Fonero is the ultimate confidentiality for the transfer of money and information.

Fonero is a fork of Monero crypto currency. It aimed on full decentralisation in the system of transferring of digital assets.

Fonero is not only a crypto currency, it's a decentralised digital system. Fonero is based on CryptoNote technology and uses a unique encrypted data  transfer system that works on the basis of the blockchain. Fonero doesn't have any owners or authorities that control it.

The mining process of Fonero is available for an unlimited range of persons who use GPU and CPU processors, but it's also protected from special mining devices like ASIC.

The main advantage of Fonero is the use of Ring Confidential Transactions (RingCT) for all transactions. Also, all the problems and mistakes of Monero developers were taken into account and there are no problems inside the blockchain.

Features of Fonero:
 • Anonymous Instant Transaction based on RingCT
 • Effective CPU and GPU mining with protection from ASIC
 • The PoW system that maintains the decentralisation of the system

Fonero characteristics:
 • Algorythm  PoW: CryptoNight
 • Hardfork: Wed Nov 08 2017 21:57:42 GMT+0500
 • Hardfork testnet: Wed Nov 08 2017 21:58:03 GMT+0500
 • Maximum amount coins: 18,4 million
 • Emission: 20 years
 • Block reward: a smooth changing in the repetition ratio, block_reward (block_height) = (2 ^ 64 - 1 - total_supply (block_height - 1)) * 2 ^ -19 * 10 ^ -12
 • Block time: 120 seconds
 • Difficult: varies on each block

(Block height #1) The award was 2 million coins, 50% of it will remain with the developers and other 50% will be allocated between the community that takes part in the popularisation of Fonero.

Plans:
 • Raising more than 100k connections to provide improved decentralisation of the Fonero network.
 • Online wallet
 • Developing GUI versions of the wallet (We won't use ready-made solutions. The wallet will be simple and convinient at the same time.)
 • Integration with other projects.

A mobile app has already been developed. But it's being tested by a private circle. It'll be available on Ply Market and Apple Store soon.

Our Masternodes have gigabit channels and protected from DDos attack.

Promo:
We give 5 coins for the registration of the wallet
We give 10 coins for repost
We give 20 coins for the publication of posts on blogs, forums or social networks.

For advertising our currency in your sing you will receive coins:
5 coins for just sign
15 coins for link if in sign
25 coins for color sing
and 40 coins for big and color sign

@romankosoj Somehow the Masari project with commits dating back to July, is a copy of Fonero code that made its initial commit 11 days ago?

What about my initials (TK) that are in the Fonero code-base that still refuses to retain Masari's copyright notice because Fonero is a Masari fork?

romankosoj and the Fonero guys,

Do you guys have any morals?

First, you steal Masari's code without even attributing the License.
Even when presented with the facts and complete proofs, you shamelessly deny it and comeback and post it here..
Get a life...
