Hi, This is just old code left over when the wallet was used to mine. It is not a virus and completely safe. Remember only download from the link on this forum or the earthcoin.io website. Version 1.5.3 will have the code removed so it does not trigger false virus warnings but 1.5.2 is perfectly fine just place an exception on your antivirus.

Because of the low price of EAC, the total amount is less than that of DOGE and IFC. Concerned about environmental protection, poverty-alleviation and education, the possibility of rising is high, the profit of investors is large and the risk is small. Either that or EAC needs new exchanges. If it goes big again, it would be nice to see it be on Polo again. It's still listed in all markets on novaexchange, and they announced that they're not closing after all. Things are looking up, and I'm trying to be patient

For those that are new to EAC, I'm one of the people on the team originally. Well, almost. a few days after launch. Personal issues drove me out of crypto altogether for a year, haven't been directly associated with EAC in quite a while, but it's nice to see that one of my babies hasn't died.

I like the concept behind EAC. I think for it to go forward, markets outside of exchanges need to be developed, and I think that the generation of coins ought to be slowed down somewhat. It's a bit too inflationary, though it didn't seem like it at the time. Or maybe I'm just getting old.

It can be a great coin again but it all starts with a flawless wallet,... and wallets are a major issue in the crypto industry,.. i lost over 350k in earthcoin because of corrupt wallets and exchanges

If you still have your old wallet.dat file you shouldnt have any issues getting your coin back. Corruption is an OS issue not a wallet issue. The blockchain will keep verifying your addresss transactions.

Dig up that corrupt wallet and copy the wallet.dat file. Back up your current wallet, and then paste the old one in it's place. Most times it will recover everything. If not, there are some forensic tricks you can use.

One of them is to start the client with the -repairwallet flag, which usually works. If it does, then you're golden.

If not, you can go deeper Look up PyWallet, for one.

I second this. Burn the wallet.dat file to a CD, so it NEVER goes away, then you can try all sorts of forensics. Honestly, it's usually not that difficult to recover.
