The price is low enough, nothing new for this coin...

A devoting and active Dev team which is already rare in this riotous crypto world. Let alone a true voting/decision making panel over there obviously.

Have a look at the beautiful Android Wallet, it's not something you could see in other shitcoins.

at least you know its just another shitcoin with an ok Android Wallet...

The supply is way too high for a shitcoin and also still not listed on a real exchange.

Great community that cant handle the truth, thats the problem with this coin...

I made research before I join BTCz and I do not find any other good altcoins to mine. All of them are shitcoins. It was hopefulness on Bitcoin Gold, but after launch it show that it's totally scam. I found only one good and reasonable alternative from all alts. It's BTCz.

I was one of the first people to start mining this coin when it came out. I dumped everything I mined at 168 sats (thank god) because I was growning increasingly annoyed at the fact that they didn't consider changing the name and logo of the coin. People are starting to realize that just because it has "Bitcoin" on it doesn't mean it is anything remotely special. I like the idea behind this coin but hate the stupid named slapped on it. This coin would have so much more potential if it dropped the bitcoin name but hey, it made me A LOT of money!

PS. Yes I know it is private, gpu minable, decentralized, community raised, yada yada yada... I get that and those are some heavy pros to the coin, but I'm not touching another coin trying to ride bitcoins name.

Bitcoin (BTC)
Bitcoin Gold (BTG)
Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
Bitcoin Z (BTZ)
BitcoinDark (BTCD)
Bitcoin Planet (BTPL)
Bitcoin Plus (XBC)
Bitcoin Red (BTCRED)
Bitcoin Scrypt (BTCS)
BitcoinN (BTN)
Bitcoin Diamond (BCD)
Bitcoin Silver (BTCS)
Bitcoin Private (BTCP)
Bitcoin 21 (XBTC21)

Nobody will take this coin seriously with a name that is clearly trying to ride on bitcoins success, they'll just look at it as a cloned bitcoin shitcoin even if it's not.

Guys, I just found out an extra discussion ground on BTCZ, on Reddit

https://www.reddit.com/r/BTCZCommunity/

where you can find some nice arguments/reflections...

submitted 23 dias ago by godofleet:
"I know this isn't exactly a BTC forum but i figure this applies here too.
Like... I had the tits gear for gaming 5 years ago... All i needed to do was invest like 2 hours and learn how to mine and just let it go overnight ... I would have been loaded today.
Hell, I could have invested $5k a few weeks ago and I'd have ~thrice that today.
How do you guys deal with this? It's stressful AF 0_0"

rizzman1000 ; 19 dias ago :
"
Dude you think thats bad?... Me and a couple of buddies had a BTC/LTC farm that was mining ALT's and trading them for BTC worth a little under $100K in equipment back in 2013-14.
We are probably some of the few that actually lost money on the BTC rush due to the China Exchange FUD bullshit. If we had just not paid the electric bill / warehouse rent and held the coins (which was 15K electric / + 3K rent per month ) we would have been millionaires. (LoL, Right?)
Is it stressful to look back and wonder how different you life would have been now... hell yes and it will be everyday till all of us who missed the train makes that first million, but none of us could have seen it become what it is today. Even still, it was a learning experience and literally a million dollar lesson for us.
On the bright side, society is just now reaching the cusp of mass awareness of crypto (we are just scratching the surface on adoption). I have since got back into mining on a much less ambitious and more sustainable scale as well as started work on a couple of projects to capitalize on servicing the ecosystems. This is truly where the big money lies. If you think there's a lot of crypto millionaires now, just wait until you see what the landscape looks like 5 years from now - probably sooner. We are living in exciting and revolutionary times for crypto.
With that said, When I found BitcoinZ (BTCZ) A community driven coin, with no premine, no ICO, a new blockchain not enriching the already mega-rich or any other bullshit, using the ZCASH protocol. My first thought was... another "shitcoin?". But the more I started reading about it the more I started to have an "Oh shit!" moment. The parallels became clear to what I was reading back in 2012 during the calm before the BTC storm and the realization that this coin has a real shot at being the Bitcoin 2.0. I have been mining and holding at a loss ever since.
Moral of the story is that opportunities are still all around you, you just have to have the courage and capacity to shoulder the expense now to get the payoff later. I missed being a millionaire at least 3 times now in crypto now. I believe BTCZ very well is the 4th, and I will not be missing it.
Until then, I... Mine. Hold. Wait. "

The issue is, that the community has to explain more the “Z” in the coin name, zkSNARKS technology, the absolute anonymous transfer of coins with high speed transaction.
As soon as mother ZCash has developed the zkSNARKS transfer from mobile, the winning run of BTCZ isn’t stopping.

Community, have a good change into the New Year 2018!
Greetings from Switzerland.

Huge shout out to everyone who donated to my account for the 6 hour hash power drawing.  I think everyone who donated was on there for way over 6 hours!  Thank You!

Cryptorex, Rizzman1000, Dawn, Hash, Odslabs, and Kosc.. Thank You!
And anyone else who donated, but I didn't see, Thank You!

We hit 6 blocks in the first few hours, for a total of about 48,000 btcz.   And then nothing all of last night, lol.

I've donated 10,000 back to the general fund.

Realization of Zero Protocol by Zcash team is realy peace of shit. In fact Z adress not working - nodes stuck with them for a long time, and wallet not support encryption or any other security tools.

llbrunoll,

I agree totally with you.

In 2009 I was arrogant with my judgement about Bitcoin and missed the bus too.

When I was reading on September 14th per coincidence about BTCZ I moved all my mining power immediately to BTCZ, it was so funny to mine with 77 miners ... 4000 coins per hour :-)  4K!/hr

Some days later, it were 4000 coins per day, that was frustrating to me. So I decided as an old futures trader at the CME end of September to purchase BTCZ in bigger lots.
In January I'll build 3 more miners with about 15000 hash/s and 4.7 Sol/Ws (tuned 1070Ti, NOT OVERCLOCKED) and will mine only BTCZ.

Bitcoin is mutated to a gambling coin same as the INTERNET DOT COM bubble shares in 2000/2001 ... Nasdaq crash and money flew away, same will be with BTC and sometimes is Bitcoin dead.

For me will be BTCZ = 1$ worth and normal people who pay with cryptocoins from their iPhone will handle it same as a paper dollar. The scaling of a coin is not that how the human brain works, our brain works in integer units, not in decimals or Satoshis. That's why I'm convinced also from BitcoinZ concept.

Mining, holding, waiting ...

tox22544,

I'm honnest to you, I've never tested a z-address transfer. I had to much to learn in a short time about crypto coins before I started to build miners and mined my coins.
Did you know that ZCash is the only one coin which was developed by professionals of IT and cryptographic. They develop permanently forward this coin. Who is doing it with BTC?
If the nodes have problems with z-address transfer, than the issue has to solve by the ZCash dev team. But the anonymous transfer in cryptos is the future, same as old paper money which is totally anonymous in these days.

I'm not expecting the price to increase 250x to $1. Getting to even a fraction of that would a miracle.

Well if you had bought this bitcoin shit just 2 days ago, you would be p 50% today.

Your comments are similar to those made on Ripple 4 years ago when it was trading at a fraction of a cent.

I actually like the name.

Can some senior person PLEASE answer me why these pool seem to be so dishonest and no one cares?

I have mined on https://btczpool.com/workers/t1Hv3U5pKqSduiPvMRmqsJ73NZNYiu8yZEm

for 20 hours now.

Based on Whattomine Calculator I am supposed to have mined

20/24 X 7183 = 5,985 Coins in 20 hours

https://imgur.com/a/OU69l

But all I have mined is: 2384 that is less than 40%!!!! I know how pols work and how difficulty changes but this pool has 91 miners and I am taking the stats over 20 hours so it should be very close to average.

https://imgur.com/a/gqcDm

I have similar experience on most pools, specially SuprNova.

Any advise?

Coins move by marketcap not price per coin. Price per coin is irrelevant. A 1 cent coin could be more expensive than a $1000 coin.

BTCZ only has a $3M market cap while a very similar coin; ZCL has $137M. S

o when BTCZ is recognized by the market and enters multiple exchanges (which is what we should all be sending requests for) it could rapidly go up.

If BTCZ is valued the same as ZCL and matches tha tmarket cap, its price would be 0.00001326 so to me that is very possible and it will only reward those who HOLD and not sell.

Right now we are taking ADVANTAGE of this coins infancy. So enjoy the ride and HODL.

I don't think 20 hours is nearly long enough to judge the pool.  The difficulty on btcz has bounced between 40 and 90 several times the past 24 hours.  Some days you will get more "lucky" than others.  There are lots of factors.  Stick it out for at least a week, before making any judgement.  Will probably takes even longer than that to see a true average payout for the pool.

Mathematically you should see the same payout over time from any pool after accounting for any pool fee's.
