Still Getting EOF error, even with the patched version.

Kindly update

The first time I tried to use the new version with the old Bitcoinz folder, it did not work. But then I synced again and the error disappeared.

Goto the folder bitcoinz-wallet\tools and hit reindex.bat

It might restard the syncronization, and then all will work.

Don't mine btcz in pools like suprnova. Btcz Community claims for decentralization and to reach it this coin needs the support from miners, find pools that help giving at least 0.5% to BitcoinZ Community for future growth. Thanks!

Yes but for some people it simply makes more economic sense to join a pool like suprnova. I doubt they will refrain from doing so if that's the best way to earn them some coins.
We have 12 pools on the first page with donations and 21 without donations. If the pool does not sacrifice this does not mean that it is bad for BTCZ. No one prevents you from donating to the community manually. The pool suprnova, no longer 51% hash. As I explained above, they are not to blame for the fact that they are popular, it just means that they work well and have already earned their trust. We all need to thank them for their good work and not be angry with them. Thanks to them, many learned about us and came to the community. But do not forget that a good and strong coin is a decentralized coin. So I call on the miners to help BTCZ in decentralization. In the decentralization of our strength!

Very well said, blaming the pool operators makes absolutely no sense. Everyone of us tries their best to earn money, and pool operators try to provide the best service possible. If they do so we also want them to take responsibility for decentralization and reject new customers? It doesn't work like that.

Been awhile since I've used Cryptopia.  Gone downhill fast.  Deposited coins (not btcz) and see it in blockchain but can't see it on the exchange.  Can't recommend them anymore.

**COMMUNITY FUNDS NOTICE**

Hello great community!

We would like to share with you that we have moved the community chest / funds to a multi-signature address.  We've grown to the point where we have a handful of trusted people who are part of this wallet.  Outbound transactions require 3/6 people to sign for the transaction to execute.

Please Note the donation addresses have not changed - and I am still handling the donation addresses you see but I'm periodically forwarding to the new multi-sig address.  This will eventually change, but we will transition fully, soon.  You can still send to the designated donation addresses located at:

https://btcz.fund
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Oe7Vo_zBb05_z8r52qv9lGOekmHDpWbbtNP4GyJeddw/edit?usp=sharing

Hello,

It is written on right side at https://btcz.fundv

Why do we need donations?

We need donations to help accelerate our many projects. We as a community have got many ideas we would like to execute and are looking forward to more being suggested and developed. Some of our projects including wallet apps for iOS and Android that incorporate the respective payment technologies to make point of sale payments possible, We would need to establish a fund to allow initial adoption but from there we aim to make it a self sustained economy.

How they will be used?

- Domain name renewals
- Infrastructure services
- Wallets (Electrum, React, etc.)
- NFC (near-frequency-communication) wallet for Mobile Devices
- Future projects

Is there any way to mine BTCZ on old video cards ?  I have an old GTX260  (cuda 6.5  , compute 1.3) . I bet people still have many of such cards laying around.

I dont know nothing  about coding Sad  Is there any way to compile existing miner for such cards ?

@Playfast, it's not everything about tech. Through history almost never best tech won. It's about marketing and team. For example, just compare Windows and Linux. Which is better? And which is by far most used?
Look this new scam-fork Bitcoin Private. It is bad copy of BitcoinZ and I guarantee you it will have market cap 50x bigger from the start of project.
This is not just pure criticism by me. Those are things for all of us to thought about.

I have no affiliate link, no bounty, no signature campaign... Only Proof Of Work!

Hi guys!

We have added support for BitcoinZ to our Crypto Mining Profitability Calculator: https://crypt0.zone/calculator/!

Feel free to send us some feedback.
We are open for all suggestions

Cool

Glad I found someone like you.

Can you please allow signing in so I can have my rig set up so when I log in it automatically shows my numbers so I dont have to keep typing in everything like I have to with what to mine?

Also it would be great to get email notifications of what coins have been the most profitable in the past 24 hours for my specific rig. The emails could bring you more traffic and revenue as well.

Looking at steady difficulty rise and hitting 300k, price might follow soon.
