I started with mining bitcoin, but I am not really getting anything out of it. (I want to be able to mine whenever I want. When the payout is round based, my share would be less than 1 Satoshi and I get nothing.) Now mining Litecoin, but realised the difficulty has increased exponentially since April. Is there any coin worth mining now? It should be a coin that is going to last, and is easy to trade.

Considering the stability that Litecoin has shown and it being resistant to asics, you probably want to find a good LTC pool.

As I said, I am mining Litecoins now. Are there any other coins I should mine for now?

Krax, go away. Mine LTC, if you want a sure thing, WDC for a small to moderate amount of risk, and LKY,if you are a gambling man.

BBQCoin because I have a pool! And why not? Profitability is usually just a little over or under bitcoin.

In reality you wont get much more profit on altcoins then btc or ltc. Better invest money in your rig and start making good profit after some months.

DGC is the most profitable right now. I know for a fact there are people with deep pockets, millions of U.S. $, ready to back this coin. Mine it here: http://p2pool-dgc.com:9500

You must know that it just shows situation at the moment, while you will setup your rig to mine, another new coin will become more profitable. And where is information about millions of U.S. $?

Are DGC and WDC compatible with Guiminer scrypt? If not, what miner should I use? (Just to clarify, I am mining with a 7870 Tahiti.)

Mine elacoin, it's not profitable right now but we'd sure appreciate the hashing power, no matter how much it is! XD
