Something great is coming...... Shocked

https://egem.io/

Is this a new exchange?

an Ella team will be announced. This team will create its own stock exchange.

Finally some good news coming and maybe the price will recover  as is falling for a long time now.

Does Cryptopia has deposit problems with Ella? I saw the block height is 7,000 blocks behind on this exchange.

Everything is working well for me. If it drops to 20 cents, I will buy at the maximum

It took a while to deposit, but coins finally arrived.. Now its again 12+ hours for my deposit

We will seriously treat and have a high quality platform. Looking forward to receiving more information from the development team.

A pool that really needs miners is this one as its used to pay for contributions to ellaism and to keep the development moving forward.

https://pool.ellaism.io/

Also i have updated the egem.io landing page.

https://egem.io/

Please pick a pool that supports the development of the network and products.

It seems we are all interested in mining MINING while mining  Grin
That's why a lot of people are on Dev Pool.

Attention:

Ellaism will be forking due to some disagreements between Ellaismer and the dev team.

They're going to put out an announcement today with more details.

Adjust your trades and holdings accordingly to prepare for the possible fork.

Edit: it's starting to go public: https://www.reddit.com/r/ellaism/comments/83wpc3/ella_having_some_issues_today_and_probably_going/

ELLA is ELLA ... whatever forks from it is not ELLA. At first was ellaismer, then others that seems to add premine stuff related to ELLA... so not ELLA like... they are separated and ellaismer is ELLA again. What changed ? Nothing.

All you have to do is give the vote to the community. This will show that Ellaism is really decentralized. Create two branches with arguments and let us vote.
A democratic vote will only accentuate the divide. Ellaismer is one-hundred percent correct in starting a new discord. The EGEM team is and should be allowed to deploy their platform on Ellaism. What they cannot do, and what they have done, is use official Ellaism dev accounts to promote EGEM. EGEM directly contradicts the founding principles of Ellaism (no premine, no airdrop, etc.). By coupling Ellaism and EGEM together officially, you are presenting an obvious contradiction to all new comers. I am very interested in using EGEM but it seems like the team behind it is set on destroying it before it is deployed. Forming a mutiny because of one argument is unacceptable and immature. While I wish Ellaismer would've handled the situation better, the other side, namely Riddlez, Chris and Osoese, were quite rash in their rhetoric and accusations.

In the end, this might end of benefiting Ellaism as long as the EGEM team does not fork. Competition breeds innovation. I became financially involved very early, thus my loyalty to Ellaismer. I believe that most of the devs added after were not correctly vetted by Ellaismer and were given too much influence in proportion to their knowledge of Ellaism and the cryptosphere. I think a trimming of the dev team, specifically removing Riddlez and Osoese from an official role, should allow the two sides to reach a compromise.

I believe there is a very low chance of a hardfork because that's bad for everyone involved.

This is exactly what he was talking about.  When Ellaismer disagrees, he states his position, that's it, without personal attacks or ill intent.

As a spectator, i feel this devs issue (and split) mainly because financial reason. Long before public channel issue about promoting EGEM token.

Ellaismer want to lead Ella growth organically -> "poor" in short term
The Ellagem dev want to push Ella growth rapidly -> "rich" in short term

This difference became clearer when Ellagem dev started to lose patience and not chill while doing other stuff in real life.
While Ellaismer hold philosophy very highly (no pre-mine and stuff), Ellagem dev created pre-mine token.
Yeah we can argue all token is pre-mine, but what i mean is how it's distributed.

IMO this separation is good for both parties.

Side note here, taking a chance someone may have looked at this

Is Ella an option for coin payout on www.prohashing.com

unlikely, but figured I'd ask

Brad

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

I have  great idea how to end this conflict.

If we make a really decentralized coin we do not need one official twitter channel.
Where do you see the official twitter channel at bitcoin?

Let every developer or team have their own twitter channel. And let everyone do whatever they want on their twitter. On the site specify the list of twitter channels.

And the idea of repeating the Ethereum code is very good. The whole team of Ethereum will work for Ellaism. Ethereum will check everything on himself, and the Ellaism will repeat everything that works well, but in contrast to  Ethereum  with real decentralization and without concentrating all the coins in one hand.

But we need principles.
Any significant changes through voting.
And no reverse transactions.
I think it has already ended.
Makemoneyoz and Riddlez left Ella while Ellaismer will carry on with the work.

Are we seeing the story of ETC and ETH again?

Far as I know, Egem Devs stated there is no premine, and I think it's alright to promote the very first Ella's token on official channel (within the agreement of all members of the team of course). Though, behavior was not mature from both sides. Egem team seem childish, and our core dev Ellaism is a little bit so hot tempered. As an old Ellaism supporter from the start, this division hurts me a lot. Though, things happen in life so we have to accept and move on.

Quote
TBates76:

History of what happened.

1) The Dev team was working on a project (EGEM) to be added on top of the Ellaism Chain

2) Working on that project an issue with the Geth client was brought to the attention of Core Dev by the community devs.
It came into question about the mining token which was implemented on the core dev pool.
This action of creating the token made miners switch to the Dev pool
There was confusion of its use. It looked like that the token was going to have voting rights for Ellaism
The resulting discussion became heated and seemed like an attack on core.
3) In response to this Core had left this discord chat and made his own (link above)
4) Actions by some were taken out of frustration (whether called for or not is not in question, this is information only)
5) Riddles and makemoneyoz are no longer part of this server and have stated they no longer desire to continue future development for Ellaism

To further add I want it to be known that Ellaismer had full control over this server, but instead of moderating the discussion he chose to leave.
There were 2 people with this permission Ellaismer and DragonFX. Both have left and DragonFX has given me the rights to this server.

Actions on both sides should have been handled better

I know this community is vested into the future of Ellaism and I will try to do what's right for you all.

Obviously a disagreement happened. Devs left this chat. Ellaismer was the first to leave.

A new discord was setup by ellaismer here https://discord.gg/7x67ZgP

[–]ellaismer:
Just to clarify things -- Ellaism is an open platform and everyone is free to deploy anything they want. We just cannot associate ourselves with anything related to premine/airdrop. The token EGEM team (consisting of u/osoese, u/MakeMoneyOz and others) tries to deploy is a premined token, and I was ranted for against them using official channels to promote the coin.

It's important for Ellaism to hold its principles. So a new Discord server is created. No one quited Ellaism development.
