Hi,

A good place to start learning dapps is to use a framework like Truffle (http://truffleframework.com/). The website has a good get started guide and you can create/deploy a new dapp under minutes. The only thing to note is just that you need to set the "network_id" to 64 when doing the actual deployment to the Ellaism network.

If you have Parity set up (as described in the first post), you can also enable the "Contracts" tab. There you can directly develop and deploy smart contracts.

We have a BTC Relay (http://ellaism.org/btcrelay) set up. This allows Bitcoin transactions to be validated on the Ellaism network so BTC-ELLA swap and BTC-ELLA decentralized exchange become possible. We need relayers to support this. Go to https://github.com/ellaism/btcrelay for more information.

Please try solo mining first! At this stage, it's more profitable and helps the network decentralization.

A noob-friendly instruction would be useful for that, I think

I updated it with a more detailed mining instruction in the repository: https://github.com/ellaism/parity-config

See the section "Windows Mining Instruction". Hope it helps.

Many ENS names are available for auction now. For example:

* exchange.ella: http://ens.ellaism.org/#exchange
* ellaism.ella: http://ens.ellaism.org/#ellaism

Have fun playing with it!

What coin we use to bid it, Eth or Ella?

Can we use metamask for Ella transaction? How to configure it?

I forgot dev wrote metamask tutorial on first post.

You of course bid it with Ella. Smiley

Both Metamask and Parity's in-app browser (which you can find at http://127.0.0.1:8180) work for bidding.

I tried metamask for Ella and  I bid on that yesterday. it is fun.
Eth label in metamask confused me, but its Ella not Eth transaction.
Great job dev.

I don't really get the point. Why do you think people would by into this? We now have several ethereum-like networks running smoothly. How are you going to attract users to switch to yours? That's a huuuuuge amount of people.

It is great! Very nice info, dev.
I had an idea for Dapp about decentralized exchange too, but not limited to cryptocurrencies.
I still learning how to build it.
