Some people don't care if they're scams. They check which ICO popular Youtubers decide to Pump on their channel.

Their are a lot of ICOs in the past month but we just don't know who is legit because it can't be trace in the first place, they just run after receiving any funding.

So many new ICO, and they all have new idea and tech listed on their webpages,

and even the websites use the same template...

but so many new ICO, how to check if it's scam, or worth to invest...
We know that it is hard to detect if the project is just fraud/scam, my best technique to determine if an ICO is legitimate is through studying their team's background and look for the feedback from the community.

do a further research about them, even if it is really promising we never know if they are really legitimate or fraud/scam.

reserach and learn about that project , team , roadmap
you can see preview from another member and make some decision
but still use money when you can afford to lose that

Many ICO now so many opportunity also to make money, but before jump and invest in some ICO, should be make analysis and looking for review first, and in my opinion if we not really understanding the project by watch some review of their project in some trusted and expert youtube channel will help you to find good and potential ICO.

Of course you can not be 100% sure if something is a scam or not. But there are many good sources all over the internet where you can inform yourself
about a project as much as possible. I am not a big fan of crypto youtubers but there are some really good guys who take very deep looks into many ico's.
You can watch some of the videos to get some insights and then do your own research and decide for yourself which ico maybe worth investing. I think that is a good way especially for people
who are new to the crypto space. But please do not follow them blindly. Always do your own research.

There is no way to be 100% certain. Read whitepapers and check the team very carefully.

The dev team is a good way to determine if the ico is good. You should also pay attention to the path of an ico if ico does not grow according to the ico you are interested in ico that easy to scam. The media network is a way to keep track of what the community says about the ico you are interested in.

There's so many ways to check if the ICO's is legit or scam. You can search on website like google and check if their project legit and you can also check their whitepaper and read it, and check who is the founder in ICO project that you want to join or invest.

This is very hard, so you need to find out about ICO projects through: whitepaper, dev team, feedback from everyone in the ANN topic of the project, you can also look at twitter, facebook, telegram of the project, .....
It will a pretty big decision on the success of the ICO.

ICO scams are everywhere, apparently you have 90% ICO's that are scams. So to avoid this problem, could research is needed.
You can start by reading about it through reviews on different sites, like https://icotoinvest.com/ . websites like this upcoming site, will give you a list of the new ICO's, and provide you with a detailed review!

I would suggest later that you check the ICO website itself and read the whitepaper, look at the ICO's roadmap and check every stage and details the project will offer.
Looking into the team and checking how solid they are is one of the most important parts of research. If the team is solid then the project will probably be successful.

These are the basics of checking if an ICO is a scam.

There is no accurate prediction to know if the ico is a scam or not but you can read their platform and also try to look at the manager if it has a negative trust. Ico's are manage by developers and if they did not pay, Their promoters will complain and you as well because this bounty campaigns needs trust from the community for them to get investors.

In the face of a new ICO, there are several dimensions to consider: 1. Can you create the creative advantage of other currencies without using the industry pain point solved with the block chain?. 2, team. The project development experience of the core members of the team, what have been successfully done before, a group of people who have no origin of the project, the best not to touch. 3, demon. Is there a breakthrough in technology, open source updates on "GUB"?. 4, community heat. User support can really promote the sustainable development of the project. Wink

thanks for the insight, im just scared of all these ICO. Too easy to lose money, but what is the alternative whenBitcoin, Litecoin etc are all trhough the roof. Buy ICO or buy fractions of the big boys. Shame I am poor and cannot afford much investment, hard enough to feed myself.
