I usually study all available project documents. Then I look for information about the team, previous experience and past projects. For me, the team's reputation means a lot when choosing ICO for investment

So many new ICO, and they all have new idea and tech listed on their webpages,
and even the websites use the same template...
but so many new ICO, how to check if it's scam, or worth to invest...
Well before investing in a certain ICO think wisely first consider some aspects that are very relevant and helpful in your investment. For example consider the aspect of feedback try to research first the stand of the certain ICO if it is progressive or not then maybe it wasn't successful or scam then see the feedback of the other investor if their payout or investment is successful. Then research who is the manager what his/her is background regarding investing in different ICO's so that you have a prior knowledge on what that you have been taken. In the end there is no regrets with the way you chose.

I don't really know to detect it. at least you should see telegram group, or bounty manager. and if there is still information from the bounty manager and there is still communication, I'm sure it's not a scam.
You are very naive if you believe that these things prove the reality of the project. There have already been many projects where all such things were done at the highest level, but in fact it turned out that the team did not even plan to start work. They were only engaged in raising funds.

using sites such as ico bench and also looking for ico revewi in steemit and also medium to get information whether ico is indeed not a scam. because the actual telegram can still be manipulated

You need to invest in the great team and good project. You should make an investment in different ICO. Do not expect only 1 project.

Not all ICO rating sites are created equal. I highly recommend sticking to the ones that don’t accept public ratings and reviews, such as smithandcrown.com and ICORating.com.

It is probably impossible to check , you can try to talk with managers or other people involved in this ICO but if it's scam you will never know becaue pople will say the same.

There alot of scam ico before you buy any ico take a look at the team of developers and their track record in their various field and always take time to read their white paper and see what they are planning to bring into existence.

You can google the information about the team. A careful search and analysis of information will help to draw the right conclusion. Now almost any information can be found on the Internet.

let's distinguish what you could haver suffered from: there is scam and those that just werent successful, and then there are those that simply werent able to gather the funds needed, or worse weren't able to use those funds to hire experts to build what they wanted to build. i increasingly think that scam is an insignificant fraction of those icos that failed. we have had more than 23.000 ICOs so far!! are they all listed on all exchanges and coinindexes how it would have supposed to be? -> no regards

First of all, the project sponsor is very important, and then whether the project can continue to develop, and finally the publicity of the project is good or bad.

We can not tell if the newly released ICO is a SCAM or not. We can know when the ICO is running or when the end. however, we can only predict and estimate the successful ICO project, I predict it by doing quality checks from Whitepaper, website, project team, roadmap, rating and partner.

It's very difficult to distinguish a really good project from ordinary scammers. Even real projects with good ideas and an excellent team can be skipped, too many factors affect it.

until now there is no sure way to know if the ICO is a scam or will be successful. we can only predict it by reading clear whitepapers, websites, solid teams, and clear roadmaps you can follow the teams who have successfully made the previous project, or you can discuss in his community

There are many ways to choose a good or bad ICO. I often observe the idea of the ICO and how their monitoring community works. The interaction of community participants is very important. They are the value drivers for the ICO that we are interested in. One more factor is the project partners. Pay attention to them because the community of partners will help the project are holding more known ICO.

I think if you don't understand nothing about ICO - it's better to have experience before investing. Maybe in bounty campaigns or with little bit of money. Because there are a lot of scams, it's true.

Well, for this we need a lot of time to devote to study the idea of the project, how it is technically feasible?what team?what similar projects has it already managed to make successful?what specialists, marketing what?and so, and only then will the understanding is at least 40-50% percent on the success of the project, as at any time can all be merged
