I do think it's legit. I just hope they put my order through before all the sharks swallow them up. I've been trying to get back into mining for a couple weeks and this is the first thing that seems attainable. I tried bitmain pre orders but couldn't make it through the website.
I dont think much sharks will be biting on this batch.. ive gotten notice about this hardware for sale sometime ago already. And they are still available. So you will be able to purchase these no problem. If your interested in d3 for end november batch. Shoot me a pm. Im looking to sell off some. |

Baikal has traditionally had good products but a really painful ordering process.
I suspect their X10 miner is going to be "too little, too late to the game" unless they can push it out the door with VERY quick turnaround - late October will be too late....
Hence the price. You buy in bulk and make a nice big pool... Allats were you able to actually get a order confirmation number and wire instructions? If you don't mind sharing, how many units were you ordering? I'm just wondering if they took larger orders first as I was only trying for 3 and it's been 5 hours since I emailed them my name, address, and order info. Same number here.Did not get a confirmation number, but a confirmation email with a wiring instructions attachment. |

Our problem and actual subject in this thread, is to establish whether the whole thing is a scam or not. The baikal site is not updated about the new machine, and there are no news in the net in general. When a d3 gets released you read about it all over the place...

I think it's a legit company. I have confirmed the company name for the wire transfer is legit. Seems as good to go as possible but we shall see. I would feel better if I had the wire instructions reply but still waiting.

But they are not accepting btc as payment. Only bank wire to their bank account in singapore.. does not seem like any scam is going on here. Unless baikal is scamming. No hacked account if they are requesting payment through bank wire. I think alot of members here can confirm the bank account since the baikal quad cube was released. |

In the answer at my inquiry they say that is possible to pay with BTC and bank transfer, the delivery is scheduled at the end of october, and the shipping cost will be communicated before shipping.

I just googled the company name and found a few users who said it wasn't a scam and was the proper wire address for Baikal.

Many of us here have had some of their miners since day one. I still have my mini 150mg/h still running almost 1.5yrs now. They have never scammed anyone, there have been multiple group buys here at bitcointalk. Only their customer service is not the best...but thats how chinese companies do business unfortunately. |

They confirmed my query for 4 x Giant x10 this morning, after e-mailing them yesterday. I need to pay within 24 hours and e-mail them the transaction receipt + copy of passport.
However, I have never bought from them before (this is my first time buying a miner), and I am thinking maybe to buy just 2. I am a bit nervous about the payment going to this company Vitcore Holdings, with (here's the red flag:) their registered company address on the Marshall Islands... (Ajeltake road, Ajeltake Island, Majuro)
If someone would like 2 of mine, maybe that can be arranged (I am in Norway).

Baikal they have been in the asic miner business for a very long long time, and their reputations are actually pretty good: - reliable miners
- multiple-algos support from the very beginning
- performance as advisement
- shipping fast if in stock
- reasonable pricing (not always
 ) - email only order process (bad...)
but they are legit, very |
