It was well over $300 USD day first week of November. My units are in Batch1 (OCT25-OCT30) which got delayed until NOV15.

Original 26 day ROI is now 129.37 @ only $59.13 day.

My GTX1080ti Rigs are making $54 day and they have almost doubled generated revenue since September 30th from $26 day.

Never again - It is not worth it. I'll keep building, optimizing and improving GPU rigs as they will run for years even on algo's that do not exist yet and in the end if I don't use them to mine I can lease the computer power.

I am so disappointed. It would help if they would have left in the x13/x15 algo's. at least my Baikal Giants+'s are still making $6-$12 per day.

Oh, and I have no responses to my emails on shipment status as of yet. So by the time I DO get them, my GPU rigs will be making more per day. So if I would have just used the funds from the X10's to build GPU rigs, I would have made $4700 since OCT 3rd when i placed my order.

Hmmm - That's my two cents. I don't want to step on an Baikal Lover toes, no disrespect meant, but read this post, run the numbers, It was not worth it IMHO

I agree with many of your points. The only thing I would add is that I assume your 1080Ti rigs cost about 4x the cost of a single X10 right? I have a 1070 rig as I didnt want to shell out that kind of money on a gpu rig. IMO this device has the potential to provide better short term returns vs cost but ultimately GPUs are the long game. I have been banking on ~20$ a day income which will cover the device cost in just over 2 months, how do you figure 129 days? 129x59=7611? Not sure I am following your ROI figures.

Yes, actually a bit more since I use the Closed Loop Liquid cooling for the GPUs. I see you point but remember ASIC's have a short life, say 8-12 mos? The GPU rigs (i keep under 365 ROI) will run for what 5,6,7 years? More? Only time will tell but I believe the GPU Rig is more versatile and will have a much longer life span. But it does take longer to pay off, and the profits are slower, but over a longer period of time.

Yeah I agree. I think we are all just frustrated that our miners aren't shipping. If I had just invested ~3600 in bitcoin instead of 3 x10s I would have doubled my money. Oh well hopefully Baikal finishes shipping to their buddies soon and ships to the people who sent them money 3 months ago.

Yeah. I get wanting to fill larger orders first. The only fair way would have been delay shipping until every order was ready. That way there wouldn't be any favorites.

In my country when I talk about Baikal, everyone says just be away from it, it is outdated and costly, some say it is trash, some experienced people running 30+ antminers in factories say haven't heard of this name yet. I still stand by Baikal and fight for it.

Looking at the way how it is delaying shipments, closing down the 2nd presale so early, the limited supply, hashrate of just 10gh/s for a price of 1399 USD doesn't give an advantage.

I know lots of people here who are paying atleast 2800 usd for S9 + duty/tax of 45% + shipping in batches of 20-40 units/ shipment. Just because the trust people have on bitmain here.

Hope the long wait pays off and the people who bought it don't become a laughing stock!!

I think Baikal should be supported, if we don't support them Bitmain will be the only monopolist left. On the other hand i hope Baikal will not disappoint the miners.

Nicehash is solid. Up until recently though nicehash was predicting around $20 per day. It spiked to $50 the other day and is slowly dropping now that Baikal has released the miners to resellers and mining farms. Will likely be back to $20 per day when us average joe's actually have our orders shipped.

I have been trying to support them through this whole thread. I'm just a little pissed right now as its clear we are getting shafted and the large resellers/farms are getting all of their stock. There looks to be 100s of units shipped (see youtube) and I can't find a single normal person from batch 1 who has a unit. I am all for competition for Bitmain but seeing shady resellers with hundreds of units mining away is BS.

Every single person whom I discuss say please reconsider your decision before getting a Baikal. I am sick of hearing it and I have shut my mouth Lol..

Was very eager to make a pre-order of x10 giant, but the second presale closed before I could order. Baikal has not announced the next pre-sale, Should I wait for the third batch or go with S9/ D3?

It would be very kind of Baikal to atleast announce the next presale so that we can decide to either wait or make alternate purchases.
