This is a bad idea to go all in on bitcoin because bitcoin is very risky and the volatility makes it risky so even though that the price is very high now, it is still not a good idea to invest all money you have because a smart investor always thinks for long term and analyze if investing now is a good idea or not. This type of user that always go luck is greedy and can't be successful in any kind of field.

I think you mean upbeat, than know the difference , Ethereum is a ledger technology,  Bitcoin is nothing more than a currency, Bitcoin is to call it a “digital dollar.” That’s really all it is—minus all the formal regulations that come with a bank (which is what makes it such a disruptive concept). Only a strong Altcoin can do this but
There is no Altcoin to beat Bitcoin yet, people says that Ethereum will surpass Bitcoin but I think It is not so Easy for Ethereum to go near the edge of Bitcoin.

the answer is two: government and hardfork.

1. the government is able to destroy the bitcoin legally if they agree to deem it unfit to be the official currency, it will destroy the value of bitcoin massively.

2. hardfork is also capable of destroying bitcoin systems quickly if system upgrades ultimately fail, this becomes a fear for some users and developers.

I believe bitcoin has the following threats:

1) Quantum computing that can break the encryption algo to find all the priv keys
2) Mass ban of bitcoins by governments worldwide, mking ot almost impossible to buy or sell btc.
3) A new cryptocurrency that makes bitcoin outfashioned

All the other threats are too far-fetched or too minor to destroy bitcoin.

There are 3 things which can destroy bitcoin and the thing is the government, exchange and mining because if the government didn't endorse bitcoin more investor won't come in and the price of bitcoin won't bullish. If there is no exchange people will loose their thirst for bitcoin. If there's no miner bitcoin transaction will not be confirm and more bitcoin won't be created into the cap market.

bitcoin will be not easy to destroy because if you want to destroy bitcoin you have to shut off the internet and it will postpone the technological progress. and bitcoin will also die if it’s actually blocked by the global government and cannot be accessed at all.

I don’t think anyone can destroy Bitcoin as long as the internet is still there, unless a world war happen that destroy opponent satellites and nuclear war that will devastate a territory but internet also needs electricity so if many electricity generator destroyed it will make Bitcoin users will be fewer and Bitcoin will die slowly.

Well i think that the only thing that can destroy bitcoin are the governments of every country, this is incredible, but this is just what has been happening in the last month, just like it happened with the Chinese FUD.. So it is obviously that the only way to destroy bitcoin is if every country starts to spread fud about it, and this is the only way because it would make bitcoin bleed a lot, and of course, drop a lot.

for asking for who is the one that can destroy on it i might say that no one can destroy on it i think that all of us that is the way that we think that there is no such a people person that can destroy it. only the technology that is the one reason why this are exist is the main reason that why it will be destroy.

Lots of unrealistic people in this thread. Bitcoin can be rendered unusable by a number of factors...mining cartels, obsolescence due to impractical fees/wait times, government feeling threatened by it and a coordinated global effort to stop fiat injection into the system. But the technology is definitely here to stay. Bitcoin dying would set back mass blockchain adoption and interest for years.

I think the only thing which can destroy Bitcoin within a few hours is the loss of trust into Bitcoin because of any reason.
Doesn't matter if Regulations, Bans, New Cryptocoins or forks.. this shouldn't kill bitcoin.
But losing trust because of some security issues could make the value fall extremely fast.
