Who can destroy Bitcoin ?

I believe that this bitcoin will successfully grow and no one can ever destroy this as long as  the government has no control on it and they will allow this as legal and they will not ban it.
They will just inform the individuals with the fake news telling that bitcoin is scam or whatever news that will destroy bitcoin  but nothing they can do! Because it is trusted by many individuals who support bitcoin.

Yes, you could theoretically destroy Bitcoin.

Here are some scenarios - although unlikely, still theoretically possible:

    Massive DOS attack which completely takes out all miners. Without miners, you can’t validate transactions and create new blocks. Without new blocks no movement of Bitcoins. It’s dead. By the way, most probably the internet would be dead too.
    You break the cryptography behind the Proof of Work algorithm. It’s a mathematically sound approach, as it’s mathematically possible but just very, very, very hard. In simple terms: You can fake the complete chain if you manage to re-create a new chain which is longer than the real chain, which is completely sound to all the mathematical constraints for blocks and transactions, in the time it takes the other miners to create the next valid block. Potentially possible, for example, if you build a quantum computer in your garage and work out an algorithm which is able to do that.

A massive restriction on the global scale: Governments all over the world restrict the contact points with regular money and make it very, very hard to exchange Bitcoins. Which would make it useless for transactions outside the network?

so far, I do not know who has the power that can destroy bitcoin. but, I think, when bitcoin becomes illegal, bitcoin will be destroyed by itself, because there probably will not be any market demand for bitcoin anymore.

As we have no begin to see the countrys can forbid  or output the bitcoin as China has been doing they forbidden the trade of Bitcoin !If my Nation (germany) will also forbid a trade of Bitcoin then all m Bitocins are lost i think XDLets hope the goverments see the good thinks within the blockchain and employ it also as iceland do and some other excellent small countrys now satrt to do !But ultimately they only can prohibit a Coin and never ruin it best wishes

If we see the development of bitcoin it seems impossible to stop this cryptocurrency.
Even after IOC ban by China, Japan and regulation impositions by Indonesia , Australia this currency is still rising.
If all nations  or Unions of the world took collective decision of banning or regulating bitcoin, then only this is possible.

We humans also can break the Bitcoins. Especially people with power like the Government. If the government is united to remove and make the bitcoins illegal it is possible. Nobody can destroy Bitcoin because this market is not controlled and completely free. I think only satoshi can kill Bitcoins but no one ever knew who Satoshi was and why Satoshi can make Bitcoins.
