Deeponion is a fail, i dont know why a lot of people are obssesed with them.

The price has been purely inflated by the ones who are on the airdrop constantly earning more than 300 onions a week, and once that they all dump their onions, the price will crash.

So why would you invest if you can get those coins for free?

For me, the difference of Bitcoin and Deep Onion is that Bitcoin is the base of all coins in cryptocurrencies, so in my opinion Deep Onion is no match for Bitcoin obviously.

Nothing can compare to BTC at the moment , Deep Onion should be compared with other privacy coin as Monero , Zcash , XVG...

And DeepOnion is shit if it compared to another privacy-based coin. There is still lack of support from the community for the Coin. Many others privacy coin is ahead of DeepOnion in terms of technology and community.

There is no basis for comparison between  bitcoin and deep onions. Having said this, I think deep onions has done well in consistently airdropping without devaluation of its price in the market.

Bitcoin is the original digital/virtual currency while Deep Onion was a type of altcoin where it is only one of the copy cat of bitcoin. Which means bitcoin is the mother of all crypto currency and Deep Onion is one the cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin and Deeponion  are based on different algorithm. Deep onion have their own deep wallet. Deeponion is not trad-able on each platform whereas Bitcoin is tread-able at each platform.

Why compare such different things. Bitcoin remuneration system and deep onion develops an analog Tor for the privacy of the network. They will complement each other well, but they do not interfere with each other.

I read this situation many time here in forum comparing bitcoin versus altcoin, it's sound liked you comparing a gold and a bronze!
Bitcoin is always ahead from all cryptocurrencies this is a mother of all and the pioneer coins and the deep onion is a copy cat on bitcoin.
They have really a big difference if you compared this two thing, about profit bitcoin will always win there's no reason behind why people get involved and invested bitcoin than to other coin. Then let say deep onion is a child of bitcoin.

it's just an unimportant comparison, bitcoin and deep opinion in cryptocurrency is not comparable, bitcoin can be king in the world of cryptocurrency while the deep opinion is still going to the process of repair into expensive coins. so I think it's very different between bitcoin and deep opinion.

 i hope deeponion will be a strong coin versus btc. Btc will overcome any coin for sure. I think it's impossible for any alt coin pass btc in value so it'd be better to compare onion with other alt coins rather than btc. But on the other hand there is a big reason for buy deeponion is deep web. the pay system in deep web can use onions for exchance and the most important think is security and secrecy. deep onion will give them to us in the future we will see in 1 year later onion will be around 100 usd

I find it interesting, how many people think BTC is special only because it is the "mother of all crypto". Maybe BTC made the best run, in terms of value increase since it was the first ever. But on the other hand, the limitations of BTC becomes clear already and many alt coins offer a better technology.

So, I think that there may be a couple of specialised coins that will also increase a lot in value and will in the end outperform BTC in many aspects.
The differences between BTC and onion are obvious I guess. One coin is a coin which protects the privacy and has other features which BTC has not (like DeepVault and DeepSend and later also intelligent contracts).

I agree with you. Bitcoin amd Deep Onion are cannot be compared to each other because if you will make comparison between the two, deep coin will be lost; because it will always be Bitcoin before and from the start of comparisons. The popularity of Bitcoin cannot be compared to other coins; it is widely known compared to other coins.

I've seen loose comparisons to other privacy-focused coins, with Monero being the most prominent. From what I've read, neither are fully anonymous right now (Monero doesn't hide IP addresses). I understand the Onion team is working on improvements that will make all transactions 100% anonymous with smart contracts built into the protocol.

Outside of routing transactions through the Tor network, does this make DeepOnion any different from Verge?
