I don't really see them as in competition and against one another. I think waves is just an alternative to eth and it is always good to have freedom of choice. It is also good to know waves is backed by its own wallet and exchange. The advantage waves has is that it has a built in market.

Recently I bought tokens by 10. I know that the project is a worker and has not yet managed to take off. Buy it. In the spring they will be 30.

Unfortunately, all the tokens produced by WAVES are scams. Had dealt with them - they show only one loss. ETH is more good platform for invest.

I know that Waves has own blockchain, Waves Platform is really good.
ETH needs some competition and that is what waves is doing. its my opinion.
Otherwise Ethereum is better and so faster. but Waves is new project. it will grow fast, thanks.

Waves is way to simple. If you are going to be asking for serious capital to run a project, you will need more credible platform that can give credibility to you project. If any anybody can type billion of token into existence, then where is the credibility!

Ethereum has a much more ambitious project, i don't think both coins can even be compared right now... I think waves will still have a healthy niche market for fast and simple coin creation, but nothing beyond that.

ETH is more than just a platform, most of the new alts and existing alts are based in eth's platform, waves has good platform but its not that good as ethereum's.

I've seen that these two smart contracts are often used, and the ETH is widely used more often than WAVES. What is the difference between the two platforms?

Waves is not a smart contract plattform - it is a plattform to issue tokens on a very, very simple way (tokens dont have any functionality).

Waves also has a so called DEX (decentralised exchange), where you can trade the tokens of the waves plattform.

Good information because i just think that waves and etherium just smart contract platform.
However i like those two platform. 1 thing that i dont underatand why wavea price moves very slow? It should be similar with etherium.

Waves not is allegedly much faster that Ethereum, but has not the same smart contract features. For the moment Ethereum wins.

ETH platform is the widely using platform since its safe and reliable with the ERC20 tokens. Waves platform is just simpler and smaller project.

Waves Platform is still a very young project but they are doing great things and look out for the Waves Next Generation which will be much faster than Ethereum.  Waves is very cheap compared to ETH and will continue to rise in value once releases are out.   Smiley

Waves has already more transaction capasity then Ethererum. And noew they'r developing smart contract, sounds promising  Cheesy

I think I would choose etherum over waves based on support alone. Plenty of ICOs support the ethereum over waves. This would be easier to trade in the market.

For now yes you are right. But we're also seeing some ICOs on Waves too. And I think we'll see more in the near future with reasing of Tokenomica.
It can change standarts.

These two platforms have many points of contact. They have a developed scripting language but the Wave is not a platform for smart contracts.

Waves platform issues tokens, while Ethereum is the smart contracts platform. ETH has more chances to become the best cryptocurrency and maybe even beat Bitcoin in several years. I do not ыee Waves can be its rival.

Hoever, you can watch this about Waves: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_aRNHIgXlM

I would prefer Ethereum over waves as waves do not have that big a market capitalization nor does it have that big a circulation supply which means that its network in the blockchain environment is not spread out as waves. As the cryptocurrencies with huge networks are able to survive in the cryptocurrency environment, it is only logical to assume waves won't.
