I need your opinion about having bitcoin for payments in online games, it is good or nah?

Using bitcoin as payments for in-game items and upgrades is very useful since many people are capable of technology devices though bitcoin and online games are done by computers.

I thinks its very efficient for me as a gamer and a bitcoin user to have a transaction or payment like that.

It's a great addition of course. That's why Steam, the biggest gaming platform, already enabling wallet top-up with Bitcoin. The industry revolving around online gaming like in-game item trading, match betting, gambling, etc also use Bitcoin as the main payment (withdrawal and deposit) method.

Like the wallet we use hear in the Philippines, namely coins.ph has an option if we wanted to buy game credits such steam, cherry and Level up. It is good idea because a lot of gamers doesn't have time to visit any 711 store or card store just to buy top up cards. This would help a lot of gamers to spend less time in looking for a seller.

if you are thinking like donation or the way of your users uses this currency to buy or sell on the market of your game think twice i play lots of online games they didnt use bit coin as payment currency because it is not stable like it will go higher or apparently it will go lower so if your items has fix price for bitcoin value it will not be so accurate to the market price of your game.. so that the game will adjust for the currency not the currency.. so better use dollars for in terms of market value or currency for your game...

it is good to have bitcoin payment to online games..how ever in my country theres have bitcoin payment in online games but it is selective game that accept bitcoin payment...

Here our country bitcoins will be paid for playing games, buying ecoins and so on. So I'm happy because I'm also a gamer and uses bitcoins too. Bitcoins are a lot of use in our country. yes, it is more than a year and a half that Steam has been accepting bitcoin directly as one of their payment systems. they are using BitPay actually.

That will be a great implementation if you do that since bitcoin is already well known over the world.
If you are worried about the fluctuation does the bitcoin do, because you can't blame if bitcoin will decrease or rise, you can use some bitcoin payment API that will automatically convert your received bitcoin from your game to fiat or any local currencies you want.

I think it is okay to use bitcoins to buy online games however it is not open in my country. A lot of games need real cash to be deposited to money remittances and that feels quite inconvenient. If bitcoin will be allowed for transactions like this, I think it would be better.

I think some online games can be accept bitcoin payments because of its popularity on some individual who wants to make money online. We all know that bitcoin will become the official currency in the future, but we must improve the bitcoin currency to accept some bitcoin payments in online games. Also, bitcoin payments in online games are so convenient because you can pay bitcoins with the use of the internet and less hassle by just clicking.

This is the best paymeng i think because it is worldwide currency like dollars. And it is easy to use bitcoin compare to other payment methods.

It is more convinient to use bitcoins for gaming platform as a form of payment for game cards, buy specific games, items and upgrade stuff. Implementing bitcoin to their gaming business is a smart way to sell their games and items. Now if bitcoin is not stable that the price can go down and up any day they can just make their website or application adapts the price in market automatically and programaticaly so the value of the item will not compromise. Like steam there are some gaming business that accept bitcoin as payment like Kinguin and G2A.

I will be the odd one that says NO at this stage. In a game you want to do instant transactions. < no waiting > Bitcoin cannot offer you that at the moment. It would be better if you use some in-game currency that you can sell for BTC. So this is how this will work : Player A buy a in game currency, let's call it "bottle caps" or "caps" for short. The player buy these "caps" from the game and pay with Bitcoin.

You use these "caps" and when you want to withdraw the monetary value in BTC, you sell it back to the game. Player A and Player B will not deal in BTC, but rather trade in "Bottle caps"
