Bitcoin is so expensive if you're going to buy a coin or investing. It is the first of its kind so due to its popularity the demand of Bitcoin and Blockchain technology - and the total coins circulated is very limited so the lesser the coin the higher the value just like Gold or diamonds.

Since the demand is very high and there are only 21 millions coins. And as it has been said before there are more millionaires then there are bitcoins. So people want to buy it but there arent that much availible. Also a lot of bitcoin have been lost so the actual circulating supply is even lower then CMC shows.

It is not really that expensive, can't even call it expensive. It is a cryptocurrency means that this is a digital currency it is the same with traditional currency, the more money you have the higher the amount. If you are talking about the price getting pumped every time that is simply because bitcoin is being used world wide in different transactions then every transaction needs to have the information about the transaction this is where the miners comes in. they are the ones that process this information and with this they get rewarded. Now it is said that the amount of bitcoin is limited so in every transaction the supply slowly depletes and applying the law of supply and demand you will get your answer why the price gets higher and higher.

bitcoin expensive is a subjective argument, some people said that bitcoin can expensive than no, so right now some people say that bitcoin price is not expesinve, but some people said that its very expensive because in 2013 bitcoin price is not expensive than right now. so this argument is so subjective for me

One time when Bitcoin is not much people use it and still easy on the mine, nobody is interested in BItcoin. But now everyone is looking for it automatically Bitcoin will be expensive because everyone wants it,
Bitcoin is so expensive and not everyone easily afford bitcoin to buy because of a lot of features in bitcoin which make bitcoins so expensive and everyone wish to buy or get bitcoin as much as possible, the reason is bitcoins is a digital currency means that it can be transfer easily through internet and also many reasons. |

And some traders on the coin market get this bitcoin price so high which make sense way back in 2009 that bitcoin is not that much of a value. And of course this investors and in marketing industry buy bitcoin so that it makes the bitcoin price so high and also I read about mining bitcoin now is hard and that's one cause of it. |

But the main reason is technology behind this.
and as more and more people see and assume what if they had 1 bitcoin in 2009 they amazed ,and suddenly they hop into this 2017 to be a part of bitcoin revolution.So its growing high and high.

As the supply starts to dry up, the price will keep rising as long as people think Bitcoin is a good investment and want to keep buying it. Eventually, there will be so few Bitcoins mined every year that the supply will virtually stop growing. If Bitcoin continues to be in demand the price could go very high. I’ve seen predictions that one Bitcoin could be worth $500,000 to $1 million as some point. This will take many years to achieve, but is possible. |
