Im not sure what will be coming in the next few years but it will probably aim to solve problems that Zil and others may have missed.

ETH was made because it did things btc was not capable of. (smart contracts..dapps)
ZIL was made to solve problems ETH and previous gens could not solve. (scalabilty)

Also i noticed all three gen Blockchains have been made from the ground up..started from scratch while realising the problems with the previous gens.
Find a problem...create a solution....this can take around4-6years per gen of Blockchain imo.

Indeed that's big reason to put our faith in this project this is moving forward with solid and clear vision. This year will be dominated by this project and it will open new door of opportunities and people will forgot with ETH brought before this.

Well, countdown to mainnet launch has started already with the start of January. Zilliqa's presence has been felt and based on their work got recognized during their development phase as important player in the market. Those images to compare different phases of blockchain how it started and where it has reached gives you good knowledge while making you smile. I will say Bitcoin is different while Ethereum and Zilliqa can be compared to each other.

This is good TPS in comparison with old blockchains, but this is not much if compare with new blockchains. For example QuarkChain have 14k TPS in their testnet and Pchain have 180k TPS. This is much more than in Zilliqa. So I don't understand why this project have big hype and people have big hopes for them

I've always been a fan of Zilliqa. Despite the loss in value in 2018, my hopes are still high. It's one of the very few coins with strong fundamentals. I won't want to miss the ride to moon for anything. So I'll ensure to get a nice bag of Zilliqa and chill. Can't wait for things to get positive!

Yes, with the developments the team doing will help the coin to increase its value because with the main net launch in the coming days the price of Zilliqa will easily increase. If you compare with the ICO price, already the price of Zilliqa has increased a lot in the market.

Congratulations for all who invested early and took massive profits.
But, please remember that, nothing, no coin, no token can rise continuously.
Bitcoin is a very good case study.
Another one is Ethereum.
Another one is DASH.
Others are Ripple, Monero, and so on.

There was almost impossible to invest here on ICO, because they raised money in last December (2017) when was a huge bullrun and they had only 2 mln for ICO. Rest money was invested by big whales on private sale.
But I  can't understand why so big hype around this project nowdays if some of projects promised much more TPS and shards

The animation discloses that you nearly optimistic thought that Zilliqua will keep moving up.
The project is good, but I think it will have to witness ups and downs along the road, not a smooth one.
