I think both are equally good, bitcoin is the mother of the digital currency, and etherium has become the most important part in the world of crypto, but I personally prefer etherium

In my opinion, the difference between bitcoin and ethereum lies in its fee. the fee demanded after transacting with bitcoin is greater than ethereum.

Nice question though cos I've been asking myself about that for a while.
I've heard a lot of opinions and still dont have concrete point of view. Anyway, I understand it's so hard to predict their future, but one thing is definitely should be said - both ETH and BTC are dope right now! Dont loose ur chance!

If you compare the two main cryptocurrency, namely Bitcoin and Ethereum, which one has the most promising future?
In terms of evolution, Bitcoin reached a maximum of roughly 4800$, whereas Ethereum reached roughly 394$: in other words, it is a potential increase of 33 % for Ethereum, but only 24% for Bitcoin.
Again you can see today in 2018 that Ethereum is growing more than bitcoin. Yes it btc price grew 2 times,but ethereum grew more and it's closer to maximum price then bitcoin. Btc today is like 11.7k(was 20k max) and etherum is 1.25k(1.5k max). You can compare that. And supply of bitcoin is limited,ETH has no limits. I can see by numbers that ETH has brighter future then bitcoin. |

it seems difficult to compare the ETH with BTC, in terms of BTC market is more controlling than ETH, but who knows the future if ETH later can exceed bitcoin

Yeah , and I think here comparison between etherium and bitcoin is not a good thing for us . If we will see towards the price of the etherium then that is about 10 times less than what hat the bitcoin have . And also at another factor we can see that you were thinking that 4800$ for 1 btc is maximum price but here you can see that in the recent month it crosses the about 20k$ per btc , so we can understand well that the price can be reach at any level easily according to demand and here we should not compare these both these two technology coin and also Thier limit in the price and use both of them equally to make profit from trading. |

for myself now I prefer Ethereum, so that's why I am now investing in Ethereum and selling all my Bitcoin to invest in Ethereum, because in my opinion in 2018 Ethereum has more future than Bitcoin.

I think bitcoin is the best company and electronic coin than ethereum. Bitcoin is always number one from this you will know the big difference that they have.
Bitcoin provides more and lots of income unlike in etheruem is just coins compare with them.

Bitcoin will always be bigger than ethereum. I dont think there will be any possibility that ethereum will take over.

guys, explain why bitcoin is more expensive than the ethereum? as for me then the ethereum is more used for payment. a lot of smart contracts that are based on the ethereal and a large number of new tokens based on the ephereum standard ERC20. is it some blind bitcoin love? I think that the price of bitcoin grows only because of the fact that everyone wants to buy it. Please, I want to know your opinion and comments.

bitcoin and ETH are excellent coins, but bitcoin is much better than ETH, because bitcoin is much more popular and investors are more interested in bitcoin than ETH, but ETH will remain the best coin of altcoin.

It is very hard to predict, if you will see the price of bitcoin and eth, the price of bitcoin is almost 10× the price of eth. And also bitcoin is the first currency that was revealed and it is very popular. Some of us says that eth will slowly rise, and I agree with that. Bitcoin started with small value too, but I think eth has a potential in the near future.

i think two of them is good, because two of them is used by many people, i know that bitcoin is more popular than ethereum but we know that ethereum is very useful there are smart contracts that we can use to start our ICO, and bitcoin doesnt have it, so BTC and ETH has advantages and disadvatages i think two of them is good in the future

obviously I would still choose to store bitcoin and have as much bitcoin as I can because bitcoin has a very limited total supply, unlike etehreum and waves. of these limitations the price is definitely going to be easy to ride. |

if comparing between bitcoin and etherium, I think interesting is bitcoin because bitcoin has a very high price. but on the other hand ethereum has many features too although the price is not as high as bitcoin.

Look when this thread is created. Since october and price OP mentioned both bitcoin and ethereum had higher tops. Bitcoin is stronger, its double from that price even after very high top, ethereum had its top over 1.000$ but now price is the same as in october last year. Bitcoin is stronger coin, but I think ethereum will rise too. Which one more is the question for each of us, I give advantage to bitcoin. Ethereum have many tokens on its platform, this is new for all of us here, if this tokens rise one day maybe that can push ethereum very high. Have both just in case, like others are saying, more experienced people, don`t risk with just one coin when you can have both of them and be safe with your investments. |
