As the Mainnet release date continues to draw near, we at Oyster are doing everything we can to optimize the Oyster protocol such that it is a streamlined and accessible storage service, as well as a viable alternative revenue source to traditional web advertisements.

To begin genuinely optimizing the Oyster protocol, we are pleased to announce that Oyster is now accepting websites to help beta test the revenue generating aspect of the protocol. We are looking for sites that fit the following criteria:

1. Applicants must be the owner of the website or mobile application, and ideally, have a firm handle on the English language.

2. Applicants must have an audience base of over 100,000 monthly visitors/active users for three months of the last 12 months. This visitor base must be verifiable by Google Analytics or some other verifiable analytics tool.

3. Applicants’ websites must not be hosting any form of adult content, and absolutely no type of illicit content to qualify.

By participating in the Oyster protocol beta, website owners will help generate important analytics that will be used to improve the efficiency of our product and will be one of the first users of a revolutionary movement in generating web revenue.

We will be accepting applications until the SHL Airdrop date (April 6th, 2018), so we encourage any interested parties to send in their application as soon as possible. We will be responding directly via email to any applicant(s) that are chosen to participate in the Oyster protocol beta.

Oyster SHL is a new token.

Oyster PRL is meant to be a stable asset, due to the peg to anonymous decentralized encrypted storage.

However, the dapp layer is a part of the oyster roadmap, but since Oyster PRL is meant to be stable and pegged to storage, it cannot be used for this specific layer, formed by the nodes of Oyster.

Therefore another token is needed.

Oyster SHL will be used to pay for the dapp operations and connectivity in the Oyster meshnet (and so PRLs keep restricted to (the peg of) storage.)

PRL is separate coin which means it will have a different price, marketcap, and distribution. If you are still confused look at NEO and GAS. The price drops after a snapshot because the people who buy PRL for the sole purpose of the airdrop will dump it right after the snapshot is completed. There is nothing you can do about it but its a great opportunity to buy PRL at a lower price.

That's correct dev already published the whitepaper about SHL how it works and what is purpose of to create this separate token. Both token will continue with their own goals and hopefully they will grow. Some people always do this job dump right after the snapshot because of to make recover their invested money.

I am not sure if you can "delete" handles from the wrapper/masterhandle without creating a completly new masterhandle - since it refers to the filehandles - it would just ignore them but still referring to your "deleted" file - so you can't delete them really but make them harder to access with the smart wrapper. But as positive aspect, with that automatically a file history is created as well.

The wrapper needs the handles as well as you do to retrieve the files. However, The master handle refers to the file handles but that doesn't mean that the wrapper has to show you the file handles directly, rather only if you are specific looking for it.
E.g. Think of it like your Dropbox or any other cloud storage service folder. You only see more Infos about the file, like when it got uploaded, when you right click it - there you could e.g. find the file handle. There could be security manners set in place but in general the wrapper still needs the handles to view the files. (those are only examples)

There is number of exchanges where PRL is being traded but all names of those trading platforms can't be shared as list is long. You may better do little effort to visit website or coinmarletcap and there under markets tab you will be able to see all exchanges plus trading volume for last 24 hours to have better idea.
