On previous page there is well explained roadmap where it was stated the purpose of these two testnets and targets to be achieved from each testnet release. Each is being released for different thing and then in April mainnet will be launched so time is running short.

I hope everythinh will work fine, so I can remove the adds from my site and start using Pearl Cheesy
I think that in any case, each of them will work well! I do not know why, but I have such confidence in this matter Grin

Announcement is not on the graph of exchange buy/sell. The market sentiment is what truly dictates the price. There are so many people that acquired last december and what we're seeing now is a bit of correction. Oyster have a decent volume and anytime it could blow. I always think longterm than shortterm.

Compare the current price to what the price was in November... Most certain not a drop.

I understand your concerns as recently in cryptoland, even the smallest announcement (even about a coming announcement), could create such a pump-hype... But not in this case. I think people are right to await results on the 31st...

What did you expect? That everyone will rush off buying up? This question would be relevant if the product began to function completely.
But, as my educated comrades convince me, that after January 31, 2 types of people will regret. Those who sold at current prices, and those who did not buy at current prices.
I did not sell either 10 tons of satosh or 30 tons of satosh. Only bought it more. So we'll see.

Still, a good investment in my opinion and the Oyster tokens are still cheap. Also, I am holding still my complete bounty payout.

+1

True that. I'm already confident that I'll belong to the 3rd type of person after the 31st of January... the smiling one  Grin.

Some coins have more hype than content and this creates a misperception that people expect from cryptos that every small step on the roadmap will result in a x 20 or x 40.

Only just starting to learn about oyster. So is it like sia, with a treasure hunting/mining reward included, plus with a focus on secure private storage? And they are currently on testing, expected to be finalised on 31 jan?

From what I understand, Oyster is an anonymous decentralized storage service. Oyster users pay to store their data in PRL. It has website viewers do the mining and the website host is paid in PRL the amount that the viewer mined. This replaces the need for the host to have ads and the viewer does not even know they are mining because it only uses spare CPU and GPU power. Oyster claims to do this by adding one single line of HTML code to the website.

This is an interesting idea but depends too much on the value of PRL itself. If PRL drops significantly, then websites will want to switch back to using ads. Also, the data is stored on Iota's Tangle but the payment is done on Ethereum where a mixer is used. This seems convoluted and I do not trust the anonymity provided only from a mixer.

I think a more interesting idea could be a protocol that allows for any blockchain to use the spare GPU and CPU of website viewers. This is obviously much more complex but with a lot more potential.

That's a good news, much needed after the recent retracement of the price. Anyway, today the price has started to head up again, with a bit of luck we have formed a double bottom on the chart.

Hi Dev, let's try and get this bad boy on Binance or Upbit exchange.
This project deserves a lot of volume.

It looks like the Oyster development is marching pretty fast! That's good news. I guess soon we should see this progress reflected also on the PRL price.

Are we all aware PRL has been added to Cryptopia and Coinexchange.io ?
I hadn't seen it mentioned here before. Good news. Made it easier for me to buy as i had signed up to cryptopia for Electroneum.
Until now it's not available in cryptopia or coinexchange, and I think kukoin is better than coinexchange, hoping it's available in binance soon.

It is available on Cryptopia and on CoinExchange. Here are the links: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=PRL_BTC and https://www.coinexchange.io/market/PRL/BTC. The volume is much lower than on KuCoin (especially the volume on CoinExchange), but you can't say it's not available there...
