What works for me is try to see the best in everything. Even trying to change yourself towards more positive thinking will eventually help you to actually think positive thoughts.

After the storm comes the calm. It is a very famous saying in my country, and really with a very encouraging message, and it is true no matter the difficult situations you face in your life, in the end there will always be that light that fills us with hope, what is really important to face difficult situations is always positive and think things with a cold head, it is important to take the decisions without being too happy, or very sad, take them when your mood is calm and allows you to make the right decisions.

This is a lovely thought. And I think helpful too. I believe how we decide to take things will determine our life course. You don't like something and decide that you gonna put your energy into critizising it, it will make you unhappy. Yet when you take an approach that maybe you learnt something from the bad thing or anything as such, you guide yourself to more positive thoughts.

Already a lot of people wrote here and probably told everything there is to it but my input is that if I keep being negative the bottom looks really grim and I can't accept that. It isn't something logical, I just start thinking about who I am and my life.

You can remain positive by looking at your past achievements. This can be in form of certificates or medals you got in the past in school or college as well.
