it will be difficult for people without SSDs to even sync up with the blockchain to mine.
why does this happen anyway - why does the client not store stuff in RAM first and write to disk in chunks later?

No reward for 420 blocks, funny that number shows up a lot in your "unique" coins...at 0.000244 diff those should keep the "instamine" down for about another 15 minutes...
It will allow difficulty to reach a decent amount before rewards are given out. |
