If the working abroud would not be such a problem there would be no polish left in Poland where I live.

Yes it is a huge sacrifice and an unwritten cost of immigration. You sell psychological safety to a physical safety.

Hey guys,I just wanted to share some tips when you are planning to work outside your country or if you wanted to work abroad.
First you need to know things about the country you are planning to go or work.Knowing their cultures and tradition will help you a lot when you are already there.
Second is to know the rules of your target country. Some country especially in middle East have very strict rules and  if you guys come from an open city then u have to adjust a lot in their rules.
Third and most important is be mentally, emotionally and physically prefered.,you will come there to work. You need to sacrifice a lot of things and even your family. As for my experience homesickness is very hard to beat especially when you are used to do things with your love ones like celebrating ocassions. Here you will celebrate those days alone.
So if you guys have other tips on working abroad please comment here and share your thoughts.
I hope this topic can help people who wanted to go to other country for work.I wish you goodluck guys.!
Yes, maybe it is) My father works far from home for more than 10 years, His family rarely sees, communicate only in letters, in the 21st century, yes.)) but there is no other way, because in Ukraine you will not earn good money, and it is necessary to sacrifice the family, it is good that we (children) are already adults, and when small children also go to earn money abroad..not seeing how your children grow up((

Working or living abroad is difficult. You miss your home, your people, your family. Noone guarantees you are going to succeed in the new country neither waits for you with open arms. It is very hard but somehow exciting and challenging. My advise is to work hard, find new good people to hang out with and do things that make you happy.

I don't have much to lose if I leave the united states.  As a nerdy person, I am not welcome here and I have no rights, even the very essence of what separates men from beasts nerdy people get deprived of because we have an infestation of socialist democrats.

Problem is finding a country where the majority speaks english, has a good variety of vegetarian foods, has a high and stable income, low taxes, and deontological libertarian ideals, and of course stuck ongoing litigation burdened by corrupt judges and cop loving appellate judges.

The United states is a lost cause, and although it may not happen immediately, the United States will surely fall through revolution or civil war.  And when that happens, historians will say that we ignored our own history.  Ultimately, it will fall because we ignored the most basic understanding of what is law, because we refused to set limits on how low our government can go, and we let the abuse exceed the event horizon for which there is no return.  So many lives ruined in the United states in the unaccountable police state.  Eventually the people will prosecute their appeal to heaven against a government that continually commits crimes against the people.

Another week or so until we see what Antifa/refusefascism is up to. God forbid if they ever rise to power whether by force or organically, but more and more it is becoming the new left.  Because congressional republicans can't get their act together, many republicans will probably lose in 2018.  2 more years of continued disastrous Obama era policies until 2020.  the 2020 election will likely decide organically whether America stands or falls.

Anyways, I won't lose much leaving the USA.  A job overseas, where do I sign up?  America sucks!  but so doesn't much of the world right now.

Yes i agree because they sacrifices  their energy to work in abroad instead in their real country, even if they miss their  family back home they just work hard to have money just to give their  salary on their family even if they homesick they cant do go home because only they want is to give happy life on their family.

You are completely right. Once upon a time , I was working abroad and the very first days were total nightmare because getting accustomed to a new culture is one of the most diffucult stuff on earth. Your advices are really true and they are proven by experience.

I agree, You will also feel the importance of your family's presence when you are alone in other country working. The sacrifice of being away from them just to give them a better life is one of the way to show them how much we love them. Sadly, there are family members who also take advantage of the person who is working abroad. My prayer is that all of the people can stay in their own country with better opportunities so that they don't have to leave their families. Its not always about the money we can give but also our presence and time to bond with them.
Yes it is.  Especially in countries were people are mostly family oriented.  It is hard to stay away from family members and the ones we love the most.  Home sick is one of the hardest part especially on holiday season.  But they have to work away from to provide for their loved one and i salute them for that.

My boyfriend is currently working abroad wherein i always feel his pain of not having someone he can lean on there because of so many issues in his work and in the culture in that country. They are not permitted to go out even if it's dayoff. The food are not that nice that you will choose to just cook noodles or canned goods.  And also the attitude of his foreign bosses were just unpredictable. There are so much struggles that he just want to go home but he can't because of our financial problem. And also if you are planning to go abroad read carefully all the details regarding in your contract so that you know how to defend yourself if you encounter any problem.

yes it is true working in abroad is my dream but it is very painful. if we want to go abroad we have to leave our parents brothers sisters and relatives and friends etc. it is money earning but not to be happy. i don't want to leave my parents and every one. we have to scarifies our feelings and emotions for earning money. especially leaving my country is really saddest issue.we completely depends on our country culture we don't no about abroad culture . so we can't stay convenient. so i would like to suggest you have to stay in your home country and work hard be happy with your family.

It is really a sacrifice. I don't try work abroad yet but I'm thinking that I'll work to the country that different from culture of my country and far from my friends and family
Yes it's really a sacrifice for those who are working in abroad because it's hard when you're not with you're family and friends , you can't tell personally you're feelings when you're down and when you feel you're not okay . That's why I admired those who are working abroad because if you think huh it's to hard for them not to be with there family .

I want to disagree with you. People who work abroad go there because there are higher wages and better living conditions. This will not affect the family relations. Conversely, many marriages fall apart because spouses have low income. If you wish, you can always find the opportunity to move his family to the country in which you work. Unless of course you are working legally.

Yes it is. You should have a lot of courage when you want to work abroad. Because working there feels that you are alone. But thanks to the internet because it makes it very easy for us to connect to our loved ones.

This is true, my father works abroad in San Francisco to be precise. He works in a casino. He said there are rimes when he feels lonely and alone because he misses his family, but he has to endure.

 IT IS!!
far away to your home, family, friends and the culture the you grow up in..
once my mother is a domestic helper. at first i cried a lot because i didnt even see her when she was leaving.
two days after she called me to say that she was okay and her employer was a good family.
time pass..a month i think. she begun calling more often to talk to us, her family.
at that point i realize that she really missed us. so i think it is really alot of sacrifice working abroad..

Working abroad is great. I've been living expat life for the last 20 years
and am still enjoying new countries and enviornments. Besides, that's the only way to realise how the whole world lives and works.

Yes it is a lot of sacrifice you would be far away from your homeland and your family,
It is hard to be away from your family whenever you got sick there is no one to take care of you.

The fact is that you always want to share something joyful or sad with a close and dear person. Therefore, I think that it is not necessary to be ill to be with your family and friends.
