Of course a partnership with Steam is out of the question because it's a direct competitor. Gameflip is now depending on Valve's goodwill, but if they keep 'stealing' their profit I bet they'll restrict trading bots. The only way is to get around the platforms completely and that means the developers need to support Gameflip directly. That's what I'm understanding from "discussing a partnership with all of the major global game publishers".
I really think Steem would want a little more, connecting with a competitor who has rejected other partnerships so far is not easy, but there is scope for acting and strengthening

There's already an unofficial partnership between Steam and Gameflip in the sense that Gameflip uses bots to deliver items.  But how could Steam possibly benefit from a real partnership? Gameflip is eating into their bottom line by bypassing Steam's 5% transaction fee on in-game items. It will evening end if Gameflip gets big enough, then they'll be forced to stand on their own feet. At least that's what I think the Gameflip dev is getting at.

"unofficial partnership" Cheesy... But seriously, we don't know how big is this project going to be... is the growth is enough i am sure that the partners will be lining up.

Imo it doesn't matter how big GameFlip will be, Steam won't partner up with it. Their Community market is just too profitable and they won't directly support a project that gives players the chance to take money out of the "Steam-system".

I don't think there is slight possibility about this. Steam has Marketplace for this and taking %15 commission besides it doesn't give money, you can just spend it on steam. They never let this kind of profit go away.

When i checked kickico page it says that exclusive up to %8 bonus kick for backing projects in Kickico. So it means up to %8 discount if we use that.

Is there any difference besides this one for buying with kick or through your web site?

i'm not exactly sure, but from Nov 28th, 2017 at 19:00 p.m. UTC to Dec 6th, 2017 at 18:59:59 p.m UTC you get the 20% discount and that is for everybody.
It's not indeed clear if it sums up to that, maybe somebody knows if it's the case?

Yes, this is true. You can also check this here: https://tokensale.gameflip.com/

Well, then its a very good deal, thank you for confirming it.

This is the fake thread?  Huh Why they doing this? Scam people?

Yes, there are a lot of people who try to scam potential investors. Also always be aware if you get some private messages in Slack for example where a special token sale or what ever is announced.

And never click on links that redirect to My Ether Wallet, many many people have been hacked that way. Even people that are cautious.
Exactly in today's world of cryptocurrencies you must be very carefully. There are out scammers out there

I have even seen scammers post in these Ann threads, linking to Pre sales or fake airdrops to get people to click on it. Its sad to check the ETH addresses of the scammers and how much they make Sad

8% bonus isn't bad, but was hoping for bit more, for kickico investors.

If we use kickcoin, we will only get 8% bonus? we cant stack it with that 20% discount?

This is our Token Contract, which clearly state the symbol to be FLP: https://etherscan.io/token/0x3a1bda28adb5b0a812a7cf10a1950c920f79bcd3

Thanks for the info! This should be on more then just the current site, so that people could easily find it. Can you add it maybe on the opening post too, so that people can check it there?

Thanks for your suggestion. I will forward it to the dedicated department Smiley

Another important thing - why people would withdraw coins from Steem if their price rises. More people buy than sell, so it would be good for both parties. In my opinion "official partnership" is very possible.

The transaction fee on the Steam Community Market is 5% to Valve and up to 10% to publishers. I'm thinking Gameflip is talking with the publishers to give them a better deal, e.g. 12%, but that leaves little wiggle room for Gameflip.

I also think that a partnership with a games comagnies is possible for gameflip, maybe steam is bit dificiult cause its a concurent of gameflip but others compagnies could be great as partner, to make easier to trade in games goods in the gameflip platform.

Fees at steam are very high. I think it's a huge advantage of Gameflip that it will be able to have less fees. Maybe it will force steam to act.

There are a lot of scammers out there, so there are still people falling for this.
I always check everything! I now use my Ledger for everything because with all those ERC20 tokens in one account, its getting to dangerous.

Great about revealing your Token Contract!
Everyone should check if they invest in GameFlip

So with the same amount of money, buying from gameflip webpage or kickico page is more tokens in return?
