I think its not officialy from gameflip side, its like a joint venture to get the maximum bonus from an ICO.

Why do you think that it's not officially? They say the deal is officially supported by Gameflip.

Otherwise, Gameflip won't send tokens directly to their buyers.

I mean gameflip isnt involved in their movement.
They will just invest normally but will get big bonus because they gather the money first and then invest with big money.
But i dont know for sure, maybe gameflip can confirm about whether this is an exclusive offer to tokenator or not.

1. Are these guys legit?

2. Do I really get 42% as an early bird?

they have a good marketing plan on pre sale so I think they dont need any market campaign anymore. btw they said their had more than 2 millioner gamer support. investor will know about this ICO

Dear FLIP community members, we have great news regarding our product progress and partnership discussions.

From our discussions with both game publishers and game tournament organizers, the effort required to extend our marketplace to leverage blockchain and to deliver a viable solution for these partners is lower than we initially anticipated. Because of this, we’ve determined that we only need an additional budget of between $3 million to $5 million USD to make FLIP successful, given the $10 million we’ve already raised from our existing venture investors.

Thus, we will lower our goal to 6,000 ETH and our hard cap to 12,000 ETH (token sale ends 72 hours after reaching this hard cap). Also, we’ll add FLIP as a payment option on Gameflip.com in Q1 of 2018, creating instant demand from our 2 million gamers.
