this is a terrible mistake that developers could allow ... your hackers got into your code and stamp extra coins for yourself, but how long does it last you do not want to tell us? how many have been created? If you do not solve this problem the project ends

!!! On the 8th of May 2018 we will perform a blockchain transfer from the old chain to the new one. Syndicate will be upgrading to a new Proof-of-Stake 3.0 with Masternode consensus mechanism and blockchain. Your existing SYNX coins will be mapped 1:1 on the new chain if you will hold your coins in your wallet or on Bittrex exchange, at the swap date.

OK So I need to hold my coins in my wallet or on Bittrex.

For holding in my wallet:
Which version of the wallet can I hold the coins on? I have downloaded version 1.9.9 from https://github.com/SyndicateLtd/SyndicateQT/releases - will my coins be safe in that wallet?

For holding on Bittrex:

Note: Bittrex will be closing the SYNX wallet and stop trading the token to take accurate snapshots of balances. If any SYNX you had sent to Bittrex are not settled (e.g. marked as pending) by 6:00 PM PT, on 05/08/2018 (1:00 AM on 05/09/2018 UTC), you may not be credited with SYNX.

OK, so I need to make sure my coins are on Bittrex by 6pm 5/8/18.

But:

We have requested SYNX wallet to be placed in maintenance until the day swap for security reasons. There is no need to contact the Bittrex team as this was requested by our developers. Also, we would like to kindly thank Bittrex team for working closely with us as we upgrade to Synx 2.0

So I can hold my coins on Bittrex, but I have no way to deposit them on Bittrex until literally the day of the swap? If I miss that one day, or if I have trouble moving my coins on that one day, I will lose all my coins?

Right now, if I'm not mistaken, Bittrex will not credit you any SYNX if your coins are stuck during the swap and you will most probably lose all your coins. So, the only move that you can do right now (in case you didn't have the chance to deposit any of your SYNX to Bittrex) is to hold your coins in your personal wallet (1.9.9) and wait for the chain swap on May 8th. Avoid moving your coins to prevent any problem.

I am having trouble launching the wallet (version 1.9.9 from https://github.com/SyndicateLtd/SyndicateQT/releases). I accidentally checked on one of the 2 (or 3?) boxes under "Network" tab (I was just exploring the wallet, and honestly I don't remember which box I checked). Since then, an error message keeps showing up every time I tried opening the wallet app. The error message follows:

"..... Socks found. Setting SOCKS version isn't possible anymore, only SOCKS5 proxies are supported"

I tried deleting all local files and re-extract the application from zip, but it did not get rid of the error. I have a small amount of SYNX coins in the wallet, and would be really helpful if I can recover it.

Hello guys,

my name is Dusan and I have a little problem with Synx coins- looking for somebody with working SYNX wallet.

I have my coins stucked in Cryptopia which will delist Syndicate soon. Cryptopia also closed market (which means you cannot buy and you cannot sell any Synx coins). So far Bittrex is supporting coin swap but disabled to receive any Synx transaction before coin swap happen on May 8th. Which means if I do not figure out to sync my Syndicate wallet- coins will be lost.

Hence I wanted to kindly ask you do you have somebody working wallet- so would you mind if I send to your wallet my Synx coins and after swap you would send me coins back to my Bittrex adress which is supposed to support new coins? I have 370 SYNX which is not much but would be a pity to lost the coins 😕

Yes, there's a working wallet right now where you can send your SYNX from Cryptopia. Here's the Github link^[1]. Your coins will be safe in your wallet during the chain swap. The dev will later on provide some guidelines on what to do during the swap this coming May 8.

Has anyone gotten any rewards from MN or staking?  I haven't gotten any staking rewards since April 23.  I was getting really good returns from staking.

But anyway you ok in Bittrex.They will swap automaticaly the coins.

Thanks for the update. This will surely help those folks who got paranoid on what to do on or before the swap. I just wanted to reiterate that if your coin is in Bittrex, you shouldn't concern yourself at all as it will be all handled by Bittrex (the swap, I mean), right?
