I just checked 8 hours ago and Bittrex is still processing the swap in their wallet. Got fortunate in their Telegram channel and got answer from Dev that Bittrex is just doing some final checks from their end. Based on that statement, it could mean that it will be ready in a few hours and we'll be able to withdraw our coins from them. Just remember that there's not a definite time on whey they'll be finished with the swap.

Hi,

My SYNX coins are stuck on coinexchange, they intentionally disabled withdraw just some days before the swap.  Are they going to swap automatically as Bittrex?  What could I do?  My coins are lost?

Regards,
Cryptings

anyone managed to  edit masternode conf?  is there a sample template that is wworking notr the # one

Yes I had a problem with this - I found that separating the different inputs with a single space rather than pressing the enter key meant the wallet could read it.

My friend also had this issue after he downloaded the updated wallet. What he did is he deleted the entire folder of SYNX except for the wallet.dat and then re-installed the entire wallet. Like with what happened to you, it also solve the issue. It appears that it is much better to download the whole data again including the blockchain to start fresh. The syncing process didn't take long because the swap made a new blockchain with less blocks to download.

I was already on the new chain I guess the files got corrupted when the power went, fast resync though just like you said and the walletfile didn't need restoring from backup which is good  Cool

People can't access their old wallet.dat file with the new or old wallet after the swap.

What was the point of coin swap really?  Isn't it because developers wanted free coins for themselves?  millions of coins were created by the developers after the swap.

Who decides ROI with masternodes and stake?  It wasn't discussed with the community.  It was announced by the developers that they are doing swap because 3rd party was creating more masternode coins..

Hi everyone,

I need your help please. I got mail from Cryptopia and they say I have to withdraw synx coins to my wallet until May 22th. I installed wallet 2.0 on ubuntu yesterday and startet transaction from cryptopia. But after that I realized that change to new blockchain was already happened at May 8th. The wallet did not receive the coins after 24 hours. Did I make a mistake and are the coins lost?

Thanks for your help

SO basically the developers created more than millions of dollars worth of coins through this swap.  I asked the developers only to get a run around only to attack me afterwards.

What needs to be said should be said.  The coin swap happened because some hackers were attacking SYNX nodes to create more coins?  Excuse me but the developers are in control of that.  What proof did the developers provide?

Here's what I think and I could be wrong...  They had bunch of nodes and the coins weren't creating fast enough for them to profit so they increased the masternode payouts for a month or 2.  Since masternode payouts weren't generating coins fast enough for them they did a swap and created millions of new coins for them to get paid.  They changed 200% ROI to 36% ROI through the swap.  This did not help SYNX holders.  I thought this was a community coin?  No community was involved.  It was all developers.

I can understand they need to get paid for their work but millions of coins were created without community acknowledgement.   I was told.

There's been lot of scams in the crypto business.  When there's money involved people do bad shit.

Okay. I will re-synchronize my wallet back from scratch so that I'll be in the new blockchain. I am confident that this will finally solve all staking issues, and that the wallet will stake better after I do this. Thank you.

Hello everyone,
I have staking problem with Syndicate after the blockchain upgrade, have done all the necessary steps (new wallet, new block-chain download from scratch)
and still not getting any staking reward from syndicate. BTW the wallet showing that it's unlocked and staking is active. I have 3900 Synx (still not enough for MN)
Anyone has found solution for this kind of staking problem ?

Maybe, you are just unlucky to get any stake at the moment. It is still random and if the network weight is increasing, you'll be needing to wait longer to receive your stake. I said this because it seems that everything is fine based on your description above. If you wallet's staking icon is active, it just means that there's no problem with it. How long are you staking with that 3900 SYNX?

I've got 16k and am on average getting 3 stakes per day on version 2 you may find it takes a while until you stake I would've expect it to within 48 hours though
