There are three major components of a cryptocurrency:

1. Economy - which was covered at 2.1 version

2. User experience

3. Use cases

In 2.2.0 version we made a lot of changes which have the intend to make Syndicate more accesible and easier to use for everyone. In our opinion, for a global adoption, people need to understand how to install, use and more important how to benefit from Syndicate wallets. This being said, we want to share with you the following changes:

Notable Changes:

Fake Stake
On Janurary 22 2019, Decentralized Systems Lab out of the University of Illinois published a study entitled “‘Fake Stake’ attacks on chain-based Proof-of-Stake cryptocurrencies”, which outlined a type of Denial of Service attack that could take place on a number of Proof of Stake based networks by exhausting a client’s RAM or Disk resources.

This type of attack has no risk to users privacy and does not affect their holdings.

BIP65 (CHECKLOCKTIMEVERIFY) Soft-Fork
Syndicate Core v2.2.0 introduces new consensus rules for scripting pathways to support the BIP65 standard. This is being carried out as a soft-fork in order to provide ample time for stakers to update their wallet version.

Bootstrap
Wallet now supports fast bootstrap from the latest snapshot in the cloud or from the file.

Wallet Autoupdate
Wallet downloads new release into /update folder in the data directory and ask user to open it.

Masternode Setup
The new masternode setup features allow you to add a new masternode to your wallet right in the masternode tab.

In-wallet Proposal Voting
A new UI wallet tab has been introduced that allows users to view the current budget proposals, their vote counts, and vote on proposals if the wallet is acting as a masternode controller. The visual design is to be considered temporary, and will be undergoing further design and display improvements in the future.

Gui Changes:

Console Security Warning
Due to an increase in social engineering attacks/scams that rely on users relaying information from console commands, a new warning message has been added to the Console window’s initial welcome message.

Optional Hiding of Orphan Stakes
The options dialog now contains a checkbox option to hide the display of orphan stakes from both the overview and transaction history sections. Further, a right-click context menu option has been introduced in the transaction history tab to achieve the same effect.

Note: This option only affects the visual display of orphan stakes, and will not prevent them nor remove them from the underlying wallet database.

Transaction Type Recoloring
The color of various transaction types has been reworked to provide better visual feedback. Staking and masternode rewards are now purple, orphan stakes are now light gray, other rejected transactions are in red, and normal receive/send transactions are black.

Receive Tab Changes
The address to be used when creating a new payment request is now automatically displayed in the form. This field is not user-editable, and will be updated as needed by the wallet.

A new button has been added below the payment request form, “Receiving Addresses”, which allows for quicker access to all the known receiving addresses. This one-click button is the same as using the File->Receiving Addresses... menu command, and will open up the Receiving Addresses UI dialog.

Historical payment requests now also display the address used for the request in the history table. While this information was already available when clicking the “Show” button, it was an extra step that shouldn’t have been necessary.

!!! Mandatory Update

Syndicate Core 2.2.0 is a mandatory update for all users. This release contains new consensus rules and improvements that are not backwards compatible with older versions. Users will have a grace period of three weeks to update their clients before enforcement of this update is enabled.

Users updating from a previous version will require a full resync of their local blockchain from the P2P network.

— -How to Upgrade- —

If you are running an older version, shut it down. Wait until it has completely shut down (which might take a few minutes for older versions), then copy over syndicate-qt.exe (on Windows) or /Applications/Syndicate-Qt (on Mac) or syndicated/syndicate-qt (on Linux).

— -How to upgrade your Masternode- —

Log on to VPS with putty
- syndicate-cli stop
- wget https://github.com/SyndicateLtd/SyndicateQt/releases/download/v2.2.0/Syndicate-2.2.0-linux64.zip
- unzip -o Syndicate-2.2.0-linux64.zip -d /usr/local/bin/
- chmod 777 /usr/local/bin/*
- syndicated -daemon

Wallets: https://github.com/SyndicateLtd/SyndicateQt/releases/tag/v2.2.0
Good inf , but bittrex exchange have low trade value now , if SYNX can be list on binance ,our market cap will rise a lot, but it cost too much too list on binance,
or we can list on more exchange to make SYNX more popular
The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

This is a white paper?

75 percent of which relies on Masternode holders.

Your vision is hoping others build on the platform?

Investing in a group that has not identified themselves or offer any insight of their experience in business.

No mention of IBM , I thought this was being developed through the IBM blockchain. It was also mentioned  this was geared towards inventory control ? So now we have to wait for entrepreneurs to build their ideas using synxlancer?

Well you did get a white paper out..

Buy low sell high , cash in your mints and roll into btc.. all the while stringing along those who are holding and hoping for some entrepreneur to make it big for them.

I hope you we can continue like this,  playing the market has been good.  I just hope people realize you guys are just staying as legit as you can.

Dont forget to vote , give them more money . The 6 mil they stole was icing on the cake. Lets keep them employed ..

As Im writing they still dont have the wallet update working.. they wanted to pump the coin to make some money but i guess it didnt work out.

Still no white paper..no real plans. Jan 2019 we will be around 300 sats..Thats my prediction ..and most likely get dropped from Trex as they begin to follow new SEC rules,  Rules synx cant pass.

keep an eye in that 6 mil coins they stole from us, they been dumping the minted coins pushing price down.

I hope people are really checking out the coin before you invest. it was good in the early days until this new team set up a new chain and stole 6 mil pre-mined coins.

Well i was a few months off of my 300 prediction. Now we are at 200...Its May. This coin has Zero case use. its hasn't  been vetted by pros, so don't know how anyone can take this seriously. Need a hackathon and it will fail.

People are dumping as BTC rises and than buying into real projects.

I sold a huge chunk and moved to BAT..thank god i did, 2 x my money...while the one dev keeps sucking the the mints and selling.. Giving enough information and letting people believe they are working on a real project.

Just wait for the exit scam, something will happen.  in any event I expect to see 100 sats end of summer... Ill be back to see if i was right ..

Keep buying the dips...LOL they love selling their mints and laughing all the way to the bank.

I don't think the dev team could have done anything about it. It's not the only coin in this case. We're in the worst alt bear market in history, and I am in crypto since end 2013. No dev team would be dumb enough to make big announcements when everyone is depressed.
It's most probably something specific to SYNX and all the dozens of other coins delisted this past months that bittrex though to be incompatible with the US regulation crackdown.
Can't do anything about it.

The good news is that SYNX didn't dump by 50-80% like every other delisted coins did, so we're probably at the true bottom. If it could be listed on another new good exchange (beaxy for example, binance seem impossible TBH), then the coin will have a bright future.

this guy is delusional...

Beaxy will never host the scam...

keep living the lie....easy made his money...sold 6mil coins...yo  Easy money

Luka and Easy took your money and they have nice cars now..

OK guys, I propose to take a look at synx team work.
Look at the github activity - they seems to be  pretty active there.

https://github.com/SyndicateLtd/SyndicateQt

 12,100 commits
 1 branch
 394 releases
 318 contributors

Fuzzbawls and lvilar [Doc] 3.3.0 Notable Changes
Latest commit 086bb4a  20 days ago

This looks nice. They have more than 12000 commits to 1 branch and more than 300 contributors and the last commit happened 20 days ago.
Seems the project is not abandoned by its team.

Top 20 projects ...with real world  case uses. So if you're suggesting to invest based on github activity, I would invest in these projects and not some scam project trying to keep gas in thier luxury cars.

Here the latest from the con man

Quote
We have signed an NDA yesterday so the full discussion with Bittrex can't be reveal. The sad news is the fact that the delisting is irrevocable and the good news is we can apply for listing in the upcoming 3-12 months without the need of a fee.

For those asking for the delisting reason you can read this article: https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000474232

We can assure you that nothing have changed and we will keep working on this project as we did before. Don't forget we still have two decent exchanges, Cryptobridge and Stex where you can trade as you did on Bittrex.

We have new plans for Synx which might change the whole idea and structure but we need patience and time. Until further details, we will keep updating the code as we did before.

!!! Beware of scammers and fake admins. Only trust these original admins:  @Easy13, @vilarl, @kwiksand, @Adventkdrus, @animesnick

!

They had to sign an NDA?  LOL yeah sure you did ..I personally been with other projects that got delisted and they said they had NO NDA..

So you have new plans ? That's great because the last year, you have produced NOTHING!!  Let's start all over ..

Also beware of scammers ...like fake Devs, admins stealing 6mil coins from the project and telling everyone they are working hard on goals...but now we will have new plans coming..oh I cant wait!

Well you have two decent exchanges ....lmfao...good luck with them...great volume ....

Check out the telegram members. They have 451 members named "Deleted Account" everyone knows its a spam account.. Deduct 451  from 1844 and you have 1394 ..then look through the rest and many are 4 months old or more... seems like they dont care if they show false membership counts.

Lets take a look at their social links :

WEB / SOCIAL LINKS:

Website: http://synx.online                                            How much out of the 6mil did you pay for this go daddy website? . Huh Roll Eyes Grin not even updated!!!
Telegram: https://t.me/syndicateLTD                              False membership #s
Discord: https://discord.gg/hameqVB                               Discord is dead  Embarrassed
Twitter: https://twitter.com/syndicatecoin                       77 tweets and last tweet 4/22/19 ..not active  Undecided
Stats: https://masternodes.pro/stats/synx & http://synx.mn.zone/                               This coin is not available on this platform
MN Hosting: https://www.nodeshare.in/product/syndicate-masternode-hosting/             Nodeshare has closed its doors for now. Cry

are you getting the picture! hello.....lets this sink in... they dont care about the investors, they just want to pump and dump and make you all hold the bags..
all those posting in support, are all part of the team.. Im not posting anything you cant find on your own..

http://explorer.synx.online/

They don't show the top 100 wallets in explorer, and they still have proposals to take out the mints. they hold the majority of the votes,  That's why you will not see the top 100 wallets... if only their team votes,  they win... they always win.. get it?....

Syndicate is a community coin and every new project based on this platform will be decided by vote though our Governance Platform. they hold the vote , even if 49% of you disagree, they will still win the vote with 51%. Plus you dont know who voted, or if those who voted really care. its all about taking your mints.

Well i got an interesting PM from a Synx person, they Thought we may find this interesting.

It seems that the admins on the Synx TG room, are also heavily involved and running a new project called Netbox.

You can check it out here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5159126.0

@kwiksand  kwiksand

@animesnick Ani

You can see them busy working here https://t.me/NetboxGlobal and here and here https://t.me/NetboxGlobalRus  helping a new group of investors ...i got screen shots.. Wink

You will notice other names in Synx TG that are also in Netbox chat..

Netbox is a very new project, must have been setting this up for sometime and it seems they pretty much are using the same play book as Synx, pre-mine coins, pivx wallet, voting rights, very interesting. I think this post sums it up pretty well https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5159126.msg51791591#msg51791591

of course this guy is wrong.. yeah of course.. Cool

So as Synx crashes, they are moving on to a new project..but wait a few months or years and resurrect Synx under a new name or the same. But now they have a ton of Synx from buying them so cheap.. makes you wonder why they never, ever, mentioned this project in the Synx TG... Huh Undecided

I would be curious to see the Synx 100 wallets and what the top 25% are holding. Why cant we see that on the explorer?

I will say Netbox looks way more legit, I'm really impressed, to bad they couldn't put all the work in a Synx..

I wont call Netbox a scam, not involved and don't own any.  But No way would i down load a Russian browser...especially  if these guys are involved  Roll Eyes

Remember DYOR!  if the top wallets hold 50, 60 , 70 % of the coin. The greater the chance they can crash it, pump & dump..you all must learn how to do proper research otherwise, you will lose money.

Well I'm done here.. Sorry for those still invested in Synx, maybe one day you will get your money back.
