How do you all feel about ordering hardware that is en route to me but not yet delivered? Part of me feels like that's still pre-order-ish, but another part says I'd be much more prepared for faster shipments by the time it actually does arrive (labels printed, boxes ready, etc). I'm indifferent, but just want to give you guys the best service at a level you're comfortable with.

Knowing they are on way is sufficient.  I would be ordering now if could clicking buy box on BitMit.  Wouldn't be caring much about escrow, since is known real product and knowing you shipping.  Plus want signed picture.  Sent PM but no answer.  Am paying but shipping to brother in USA who is mining for us.

You don't need to click buy box on BitMit ... you can just buy direct from Kosmo.. lots of us in this thread have... He will answer your PM he is just really busy now.

Join me in hosted mining.  And always use 2 Factor Auth whenever possible.

Hope you all had a great weekend - holy hell did we ever! We're all lined up to send out hundreds of packages this week, about have the BitPay account finalized, and I'm expecting not one, but TWO large inventory shipments to arrive at the office tomorrow, with another re-up later in the week! Anyone wanting to get into mining this week (or upgrading their current operation) will be well taken care of Smiley

Based on feedback and tracking statuses, I'm going to start accepting orders in the late morning/early afternoon tomorrow - please check the OP tomorrow for revised instructions. I'm reviewing last week's proceeds at the moment to determine what, if any, prices need to be adjusted.

Not in the US? We're working on rolling out international shipping, too! Please remain patient as we come up with a plan. In the meantime, you may consider using MyUS.com to order from us - I've heard excellent feedback from numerous customers!

I'm really thrilled that you've all been happy so far and I'm excited to continue exceeding your customer service and shipping expectations. It's going to be a great week!

... now off to conclude S03 of Game of Thrones ...

Absolutely. The OP will be updated tomorrow with very clear instructions. Thanks for your interest! BitMit will definitely still be a purchasing option.

... but having to figure out the USD to BTC transaction is something I'm trying to avoid.  (Especially since the options seem to change daily!)  Still, I'll take a look at bitinstant and maybe place an order soon.

Have you looked at localbitcoins.com?

Yeah, the last scene / the way they wrapped it up was so cliche. I mean really ? Ugh...

Can't wait for next season !!!

did you read the books?  That was actually one scene that kept true to the original story.

And yeah, I can't wait either...

Bitinstant is still down for cash deposits.  I hope "system maintenance" isn't a euphemism for "Feds shut us down".

Yes! I've reviewed my incoming shipments and I have plenty to cover more orders. I haven't counted it all up, but I'd say I'm 60-70% sold ... however, the pace isn't really slowing down. I've been sending quotes/invoices and collecting shipping data all morning, and am still far behind. Boy am I glad I started accepting orders before tomorrow - there's no way I would have had time to process all of these orders if I hadn't started accepting a bit early today!

This should always be true: If BitMit says I have some in-stock, then I have some in-stock.

The thread was started here because I happened to see that this is where all group buys for the same hardware showed up. Apologize, but I was just following suit!

I believe you're referring to the "marketplace"? It looks like that's more suited to one-off sales of random this-and-thats. In comparison, I'm a direct reseller for ASICMiner and deal in the hundreds.

Personally, if I was looking for new, bleeding edge, mining hardware to purchase, I would come to "custom hardware" (in fact, I have, several times) ... while if I was looking for say liquid nitrogen, well, I wouldn't expect it to be here.

Neither you nor I are the only re-sellers in US.  I can assure you that there are others who have sold more than you and I combined.

Likely true, but I sure couldn't find anyone who stocked them when I wanted one immediately! (hence I joined the group buy) Just kept finding expensive onesie-twosies on eBay/BitMit.

+1

Not sure why but this "Custom Hardware" subforum has become "Custom Hardware - Buy/Sell, preorders, group buys, preorders of shares on preordered products that might or might not be ever produced".

Now it is a junk subforum, KNC pre-orders, shares on pre-orders, 1.9TH PCI cards, Nigerian/Indian asics etc, hard to find any technical info on the actual products.
All is missing is options on future forward contracts on Avalon/BFL dates or any other events related or unrelated to bitcoin.

Pre-order "hash rate swaps" anyone?  Total madness.

PS. I have contributed to this with my small group buy thread.
