Gold in general is no better. The value of gold is nothing more than a result of a global consensus - at the moment everyone agrees to consider gold a measure of value, simply because this measure is in some form or another necessary. If we assume a utopian situation, that tomorrow everyone agrees that gold is not such a measure, then it will be good only for the production of quality wires and trinkets.
The btc is gaining momentum for exactly the same reason - the global consensus towards the btc is constantly being strengthened. In this case, unlike gold, the cue-ball is not only a measure of value, but also a settlement system, and gold is not a competitor for this parameter.
Why we need to compare bitcoin ang gold well in fact they possess good qualities when it comes to investment.

For me,its a no.We all know that gold is a metal that is very valuable and it used in making many things such jewelry and gold coins.Gold can turn into coins,is a bitcoin can turn into gold??Thousand years ago and from now, gold is still in existence and most popular metal not just a metal but a valued metal that many of us want it.Bitcoin is good but for me,only poeple who had and became rich because of it beleived that bitcoin can replace gold. Grin Bitcoin is better but for me gold is the best.

Similar thing happened to me mate. While I started with Bitcoin in 2014, I realized that I was a little too late considering that the price were around the hundreds, but I quickly invested some money into it and now look at the price. It is nearly double than what I had invested when I first started. If I knew about Bitcoins in 2009-2010 I would have bought a bunch of them and today I would have been a millionaire. But anyways, better late than never.  Cheesy

Bitcoin replacing gold? No, I don't think it can ever replace gold, because gold is an element which is physically available to us and bitcoin is just a type of digital currency. Also the uses of gold and bitcoin differ alot from each other, gold is used in making ornaments and is a precious metal, Bitcoin is used to pay, etc.

Bitcoin can replace the gold, because rich people use gold bars and change it to money, they hide it to their house and no banks can store gold, but when bitcoin does,it can be stored safe and it is more practical than ever, and also I think many rich people if they find out of what can bitcoin do,for sure they will use bitcoin for easy use and for effortless works. That's why their is a potential that bitcoin can replace gold.

I don't think bitcoin replace gold.

Also why bitcoin to replace gold I don't understand.

The prices can be evaluated not to be replace anything.

This is my opinion.

Do you mean Like GOLD bars or Gold Jewelries and it Price.?
Bitcoin is really taking it's momentum eventually and all bitcoiners had Witness of the surge of it's Price,
Every karat of GOLD has it's Respective Price But, bitcoin Is Volatile It Goes Up or Down,
Bitcoin Will just Replace GOLD if it is the Currency of the Entire World Denominations.

Formerly the price of bitcoin was far below gold but now it's been many people who predict that bitcoin will be far above gold. I myself am convinced that this prediction is true

I think that Bitcoin can never be able to surpass gold. People like their property seen and touched and feels that this is more valuable to digital or electrical items that are otherwise may be hacked or otherwise robbed with them Gold can never lose its value and would never be able to depreciate as Gold will be valuable for a long time and that is something that is different and cannot be offered by Bitcoin. As Bitcoin may lose its value to its volatility.

Is it hurts but we know that bitcoin can never replace the gold. Because we know that the gold is living a thousand years until now. It is used to buy everything , used for trading materials. And i think its have an expensive values unlike the bitcoin . bitcoin is living only in the online with the other cryptocurrencies. It is not used for all stores it is only used by some store and sometimes in the online and black market only. even though there's many advantage of bitcoin in the money chart. i don't think if it replace the gold.
Yes in future the bitcoins will take place of gold because the prices of bitcoins is more higher than gold and now a days people are selling gold just to buy bitcoins because bitcoins has more profit then gold so bitcoins will take place of gold.

Bitcoin can not replace gold as they are completely different and can not be compared. Bitcoin can replace some other currencies, but not metals.

Your question isn’t very clear to be honest.  In a literal sense, No it’s impossible.  For the simple fact that gold is a tangible asset, you can touch it.  If you meant in terms of value, then perhaps so.  I think bitcoin has every chance to surpass gold in terms of value or worth.

I don't think so remember to see is to believe well I guess that sums it all people will only praise high on what to see is precious rather than those that they think before themselves they could not get beneficial with.

Both gold and Bitcoin have their own advantages and disadvantages.gold is the most popular investment of the world and almost everyone in this world want to invest in gold.it is the safest investment of the world because of its popularity.
Bitcoin on the other hand grows with a rate second to none which makes the investment fast growing but a bit risky.
The two of them are very different and none of them could replace the other.

Hmm. I don't think Bitcoin can totally replace Gold. Bitcoin only have value in trading but Gold still has value in many other sides. For example you think in a wedding can Bride and Groom give each other Bitcoin instead of Gold ring? LOL. Beside Gold can use to create false teeth, face mask and use for interior decoration....

Why would bitcoin want to replace gold ? Your question doesn't make full sense. Bitcoin is called the gold of internet but you cannot compare bitcoin to gold. The 3 safest investments right now are gold , land and bitcoin ofc. So tell me again why would bitcoin want to replace gold ?

I think what you wanted to say is will bitcoin replace fiat in the coming future ?
