I think what is happening is that people keep reserving the batch 1 order but fail to pay. I have repeatedly asked for purchase info so I hope there are some left. I would love to add a second Bitfury to my order book.

yep, same here. I also don't know if reserved unit mean also paid or not. I paid for one at Monday and now waiting for open payments again.) Otherwise, also want next one - money prepared.

Pls. read main topic before asking your question!
ASICs and shares not available!

At the moment the chip are tested with strapping. After that, MetaBank will send me a notice for payment of additional devices. Perhaps more devices will be available from the first batch. It all depends on the test results.
Thx.

Meanwhile,
First I would like to say that chip is working. Complete confirmation using test-vectors.

In regard to the issues of personal messages I would like to clarify some information about additional pre-order.
1. All additional units from batch 1. Ordeting additional units is exclusive offer is just for me.
However, until there is an engineering sample, MetaBank will not accept payment for additional devices. This is his terms.  It was originally planned that the chips will be tested within 14 (13-27 june), but I have not received a notice from MetaBank for payment. Today I emaling to the MetaBank about notice for payment. How to get the answer I will do an update.
2. It all depends on the ability to order the required number of plates with chips and components for boards in the first butch. If this will not have problems, then maybe there will be more additional units in a first batch. But If the chip or component parts is not enough, then MetaBank may refuse to order options and then I'll return your money. If you want to do refund now, write me PM.
3. Communication with the public at MetaBank terrible. We can say that it is not at all. So wait for the answers to the questions can be a few days, be patient.
4. There is no importent official information from Metabank In the Russian source from June 13, when we got the results of the first chips test.
Thx.

My guess is that there are going to be a number of interested parties willing to increase their current order.  Wink

I spoke on the phone with MetaBank. He told me the following information. Currently being negotiated with manufacturers for the supply components of units and assembly units. Since the hashrate of the chips in half the scheduled hashrate, it is not currently possible to say how much we can put additional devices in the first batch. He promised to keep me informed.
I guess the notice for payment of additional devices will have to wait two or three weeks, so if you want, I can pay you back for additional devices. You can pay immediately after notification MetaBank, which I'll let you know the topic. Thx.

- The chips are based on 65 nm.
- Each chip is capable of 5 Gh.
- Each chip consumes 0.7W / 1Gh/s. Total we will have a 87 Watt/Unit, But i think it could be 150-300 Watt/Unit.

- The chips are based on 55 nm.
- Each chip is capable of 2 Gh.
- Each chip consumes 0.75W / 1Gh/s.

it's slowing down Metabanks production though. Here's hoping that they still have resources for our additional batch 1 units.
