I made a cold wallet with the IOP Wallet wallet from the iop.global website (https://github.com/Internet-of-People/iop-core/releases/download/v6.1.0/iop-core-6.1.0-win64-setup-unsigned.exe).
I sent IOP from Bittrex to the cold wallet adress.
The tx in block explorer (http://mainnet.iop.cash/) shows the transaction but the explorer doesn’t show an amount in my wallet address.
Why?

It normally should be impossible what you have described.
When the explorer shows your TX it should also list the balance on the address the transaction has sended to.

If I look at the first adress http://mainnet.iop.cash/address/p5z54P3g74Yj5LX7GQiHMVKWod6XLmz5DN there is no amount and no transactions

yes, i have read that. but in this case the price is decreasing due to bitcoin drop effect. traders and investors may gain time to enter. I will stay support and wait for the price to move up.

I have been following this Project from quite long time and this project looks quite interesting. I have been holding around 1000 IOP coins. We need some positive news to reach new highs, I would like this coin to see around 0.01 BTC in 2018.

 I dont think bittrex provides distribution of any coins, they dont even provide gas for NEO coin
