The government plays a big part in this. Yes, people can be lazy at times resulting in being jobless and broke. However, no matter how hard working the person, if wages are but the bare minimum like in certain 3rd world countries, there's just no way of improving their lives...

The first answer is right. It's an environment lottery.

You may be lucky to be born in a family that knows how to treat money properly and just learn those skills from childhood.

You may be not born in a family with good financial skills but you may come across right people who can teach you these.

Or come across right books and right videos and use your knowledge to search for right opportunities to climb the financial ladder (my case).

Or you may be unlucky for all of the above.

The point is - your brain is inclined to attribute everything you succeeded at to your hard work and put a large discount on this environmental luck factor. So don't get big headed. If you worked your way from the bottom to be successful  then nothing will bring you so much long term pleasure as sending that elevator back down.

Lack of development itself is not a root cause. It is just a syndrome just like poverty. If you want to eradicate these syndromes, then you need to treat the root cause. In most of the cases, the root cause may be over-population. Family planning can reduce the incidence of poverty by increasing the per capita availability of the resources.

I think it all start with the person. What I have witnessed is that there are people who were LAZY and just wait for money instead of working. I hate it when I saw someone who was hungry because their parent is so busy doing nothing. A LAZY person will not have a permanent job even though he/she has education backing them up. Poor people always blame the government because of their situation. I kinda agree with them but they have to do their part as well. Some of them were just waiting for the monthly allowance for poor people. They will just work whenever they feel that they want to. Worst case scenario, they will just work when they have nothing in their pocket.

Lazy is the first factor that makes people become poor. When there are more lazy people  will form a group of people, an organization and a country becomes poor.

People become lazy, when they can afford to be so. And this happens when the government starts distributing freebies and subsidies to the illiterate people who don't want to work. This is exactly what is happening in my country right now. Everything is being distributed for free, including cooking gas, electricity, rice and even train tickets.

That is why I really don't like this subsidies, they are making people lazy, same here in my country, there is this kind of subsidy for those who have zero to low income family. Instead of making it to ease their lives, they are using it to their caprice aka "one day millionaire" then the next day, they are back to reality.

I hope the governments would realize that those things are not helpful. What they need is a job and not freebies.

I think there are several factors.
1. Educational factors, in the educational factor is very helpful for a country to continue to grow with the knowledge that has been studied.
2.factors of employment development, in this factor all humans can meet the basic needs of income from work.

I think the country is still experiencing poverty because this country still have many corrupt  people , this is the main reason make their country develop more slowly than other countries .

Poverty is a state of lack of sufficient resources for living and well-being. People in many countries face it and find it difficult to overcome. Poverty is not a condition but is a situation which one can stay through. The following are some causes of poverty;
Lack of education
Lack of resources
Internal protest and riot

Poverty is much broader than having no money. Essentially, poverty is the absence of the ability to achieve a decent life.
I think there are 3 main factors causing poverty:
1. Ignorance.
ignorance "here is not literally meaning where, if for example they go to school, they will get a bad score. It is not like that. But more to the lack of access to the education they need for their lives.

2. Disease.
In areas not familiar with modern medicine, the poor often get caught up in the myths about the disease that ultimately leads to death. Those who are not familiar with health-keeping activities also usually have low productivity. Limitations of their body condition make them unable to work optimally so that less prosperous.

3. Dishonesty.
Broadly speaking, this is the main cause of poverty in some countries difficult to remove. As long as government officials - from the lowest level to the central level - think only to enrich themselves, there will always be the poor. Sadly, this one cause of poverty not only focuses on nominal numbers being corrupted.

Lack of education. Jobs often require college graduatees so people who havent finished college are unable to get jobs, but it also depends on the person's dedication to get themselves back on track and to push their status high above the rest resulting to wealth and fame. These particular people have a special skill set, gifted individuals that have a lot of potential. Its obvious that not all of the people here on earth are like that so people are left with nothing else but scraps

The cause of poverty is in many ways. The main reason is that the people do not have the consciousness of hard work and the government institutions do not attach importance to it. I think a country needs to have a clear plan to change the situation. It may take a few generations to work hard to make it possible.
