Poverty, which is simply the state of impecuniosities or domestic deficiency  resulting in the inability to take care of our self and otherwise basic needs such as food, clothing, and housing can be caused by lack of the ability to apply wisdom but mostly understanding in our concerns.
It is said that we must endeavour to get knowledge, get wisdom, but in all our getting, we must get understanding.
Therefore, if we lack any of those qualities mentioned above here, certainly, we must be poor, and continue be in poverty.

If it's poverty en masse then it's either due to environmental factors such as say being situated in a desert lacking basic resources, or a corrupt oppressive government controlling everything. I think those are the big ones.

The common causes of poverty are backward agriculture, natural disasters, centralization of power and corruption, discrimination and social inequality, environmental degradation and over population.

I think the common cause of poverty is proper education, if a person is educated he will think of way on how to earn money and be productive. He will know how to manage the money they have on a proper way.
There are other people eventhough they are educated but because of laziness they still have no money.
We should not blame our government for being poor we should also do our best to have work.
Our government also have to do their job in order to have a better nation. Don't be corrupt in order to have our nation a better future.

Well I think the common cause of poverty is unemployment. If  people would have a stable and decent job , poverty has no place for our lives. Having a stable job would enable us to provide all our daily needs. Sometimes, lack of enough education is also the reason why people can't have a good job. Being unemployed might bring us all the negative effects of poverty like hunger and unsustainable life.

I think the main cause of poverty is lack of education. People who did not finished their study cannot get a high paid job that can make his/her family financially stable that can also result for his/her children to not attend the school. I think it is a matter of which country colonized a certain country, and the influence has been handed down from generation to generation. Like for example, I think no country have become rich if that country was colonized by Spain a long time ago.

If you are unable to get a job, that means that your skill set is not compatible with the labor market. Either you need to apply for jobs which match your skill set, or you need to improve your skill set by learning new ones. Be ready to work hard, if you want to land a decent job. There are a lot of qualified guys nowadays, and therefore the competition is getting tough.

common cause of poverty for me is not having a family plan before they start to build a family in my country philippines they still have a lot of kids even though they don't have enough money to give they're kids a education. Someone's are lazy don't want to find a stable job. not controling themselves also.
