I didn't get your thread. Are you trying to say that people scam because it's difficult to get help or difficult to get a job? Some may have the guts (and the brains) to do what you said, but I don't think it is applicable to all who is in desperate need for money. And it is not the one common reason for all who scam. People can scam for the dire need of money and they can also do it for the greed of more easy money, the thrill and pleasure of scheming and not being caught, etc.

About what you said why is it that people hardly toss $5 while they are willing to spend a lot on other things you think not worth spending for: Well, we cannot blame them because they have their choices and they have set their own priorities. What may be important to them (like a dog) will not be important to us. They have worked and earned their money, so it's also their call where to put their money into. Compassion and trust are some things we cannot make everyone know.

hm, people scam because they do now know anything to do in this world and they are not well-educated. In my countries, people are very lazy and they do a lot of things to steal people money, fraud them, blackmail, etc. And you do not need to have any knowledge to scam people.

Getting a job is not possible for everyone, not everyone has family or [friends] to help them and sometimes they will make the bad situations even worse them. If you've ever really needed money and were very desperate, than you probably know that people would let you starve to death rather than give you $5.

It's weird how people won't toss out just a few dollars to help someone in need, yet they'll spend $10000 or more on their pet that has an average life span of under 5 years.

But then again, if you give the person in need money, they'll keep coming back for it. It's a real crap shoot

The thing is bitcoin’s value is good, no matter how small a person asks for it, it still counts. Now, imagine them asking for bitcoin to let’s say 50 people. That would be the key for them to earn, which is bad.
It is just like asking why people rob the bank or why people steal or why some people are corrupt. Most people have always been used to the easy way out, do little, target greedy people, promise them something big, try with just little by giving them as promised, get more people in with that and then when we reach our target, we speed off. What bothers me is why some people still fall for this at this age, except greed of course.

Title is a bit misleading. It's not about scamming but about why people don't just give money to anyone.

People don't trust strangers, they won't help you unless they know you. (Sometimes even those who know you won't help too). Besides, if your idea about asking donation is a bit shady, then people know it, so I think you need to provide proofs if you really need help, not just opening your hands and telling people that you need money.
Yes you are right and the reason behind this is the people who are spreading the fear and they are now getting in the bitcoin the worth of the bitcoin is increasing day by day, in the past the bitcoin is getting high and the value of the bitcoin is about to the increase. The people who hate the bitcoin are bitcoin, the importance of the bitcoin will never get affected by the bitcoin and the price of the bitcoin will never get affected.

People scam for easy money, fooling others, they doesn't want to give so much time and effort or hardwork to earn for their living.Easy comes easy goes, they spend in just a click and it will just fade away.
That is the way life works funny enough. Easy comes, easy goes. Most of these guys even always end up not having something tangible to do with what they get from their scams and it is ridiculous. They always have this belief that if it finishes, there is always going to be a fool and greedy fellow to set trap for. It is crazy and it is unfortunate, that is the decision they have made to keep their life going until it gets messed up one day.

Because a lot of people are just completely useless in all other aspects of life so they use what little (pointless) skills they have to swindle people and somehow get money out of it. These type of people are at the lowest of the moral hierarchy...

All I have to really say on the subject is you reap what you sow.....

I think scams happen frequently on the forums and on social networks because scammers hit the psyche of high profits from new people and have no knowledge of virtual currency. They are willing to spend large sums of money on venture capital and then lose it, not using some money to learn more about what they invest.

Retract your "trolling for crypto" offer in the other thread you started,  and you'll probably be an entertaining member of bitcointalk--assuming you don't get banned first and that you're not somebody's alt.

Interesting observation about the starving to death thing.  So true.  That's part of the whole "money is the root of all evil" philosophy.

You're not looking for a handout, are you?  You can go starve with the rest of them.

Some people scam because they tend to earn from the hard work of others. It is a sin to hunting what is not yours. Scammers are like thieves. They can't work hard for themselves that's why they're trying to harvest the fruit of others hard work.

Even my brother is not a poor people, but he still scam me more than $ 1,000 when he has chance and I had trusted him. Sometimes, a person will be scammer by its greedy and this person does not know that amount is not enough for its life forever but that amount can make its dignity become bad.

For me it is because of the natural characteristics of human. Our humanities, we can trust if we think that thar person was trusted. We bilieve if we think that he is believable. So why are we scam because of our nature of humanities. People get use to it. Scammers get used to it. But by our nature we should fight it by our nature also. We have defense mechanism. So it is what people by nature is.

Starving to death is not an option, in the third world countries people are working hard just to earn for their living. They can feed their selves aswell as their family just by picking up trash and selling them to junk shops, now how come there are people starving on the streets? You cant say that you cant walk thats why you are starving to death, there are people who doesn't have feet but still earn money by making handy crafts. If you are starving to death maybe there is something wrong with the way you live.

I think its a natural tendency of humans. They tend to shortcuts, they become greedy. That's why they scam. They dont care about other people.

Exactly. Greed makes you do things at the expense of other people's demise. Taking advantage of other people's weaknesses has been around ever since we haven't even known how to produce fire. It's basic human nature already and there wi always be people who will be like this

There are many reasons people scam, rob or steal things. Good parents, happy childhood, proper education, job etc are not in everyone's fortune.
For some people life is quiet hard, even after working hard they don't get enough income to meet their day to day needs.
So these people get attracted towards bad things easily.
However even after getting good job and money some people have inbuilt greed for more money in less efforts.
Many scammers have sound technical knowledge, they try to live a normal life but due to some reasons they won't get enough money so they use their skills in such bad  works.
This should never be an excuse for robbing, stealing or scamming someone, hundreds of persons study, build plans , works hard to have bright future.
Criminals always have idea of doing crime in their mind they just wait for you to do a mistake.

People scam because they see it as a way to get $ quickly and easily. They do it to take advantage of the less educated. The more you learn, the less you'll get scammed.
Scammer is no the suitable word call them robbers and all they do is to rob away the money of innocent and hardworking people who are keen to earn money, but there is also fault of victims that they get into trap of some deceive they must have authenticate the person for whom they are working and this will help them that they will not be victimize again.

what kind of question is it that I think all people have already experienced a scam because we did not want to do what we did? so it's natural for a person to avoid being able to get rid of scams that in our lives are not the perfect people at all? so it's okay to teach us how to scam we just thank you ...

Being scammed is not related on the topic where you started. This is only about for being selfing of the people and being lazy to have work and depend their self to others by simply asking them for money and a people who have money yet not giving a help to others even if they have much to help the people who feel anxiety. But then again, helping and giving help to other is not a bad thing as long as you know that it is right.

Because they not take caring their account so that their has been scammed we should take care it because account is important to us when your account have a business so that dont give it in any people that you dont know.
When anyone notices such kind of activity must reports to the cyber security department and this will prevent others not to get into the trap of the scammers and one must properly take care about his account and must not enter his personal information anywhere on some login page there are a lot of people who are victimized in and now they are scolding themselves.

The key here is contentment. Try not to look at others who have more. Continue helping those who have none, but not very often. There's a saying, "Do not give the man a fish, but teach him how to fish." The same principle applies, I guess.
