It is a good idea to invest either of the two.  Just make sure that do not go all in. Learn to diversify. Take a right timing to maximize your earnings. It is a long journey but it is worth it. Bitcoin is a really good idea to invest in specialy now, ebcause of the upcoming fork. About litecoin i would say it is not a good idea, because this coin has not so much potential, it is better to pick some better coins like ETh or WAVES.

I can't say anything on Litecoin as I personally haven't been following it much lately though.

i suggest to invest bitcoin cause bitcoin always volatile which is changing value every time we can buy a cheap price on it and sell in a high price immediately when bitcoin rise again .cause now adays i heard some good news that bitcoin is gaining some strength to the higher value. Bitcoin is a great investment if you do some research before entering. You might also want to learn some basic trading chart reading. Bitcoin is nearing All time high again might be a bad idea, but there is a small dip around 4600-4700 you might want to grab some. But for litecoin seems its the bottom now. All in all since you are risking your hard earned money you might want to do some more research before entering.

Mate it is so good to invest on such high pricing business some of that related business is so well priced as well if possible get as much as bitcoin as possible and invest to get some  more money or income in the distant futur eventually you can  get about tenfold or even more than that  in that kind of business or even relying on this is good to make money each month with ease.
