Yes Philippines is very active to bitcoin. Well in-fact I know plenty of Filipinos who are into bitcoin. It is not that because they just have knowledge to bitcoin, but it is because of the capability of bitcoin to let them gain money while learning. Filipinos are really hardworking especially when they gain money, I'm not saying that Filipinos are into money only but we really need money to improve due to low on technology advancement. Well bitcoin on the other hand improves Philippine's economical status, because it can let them earn money even if they don't leave their job and it also let them know what is happening in the modern technology world.

Most of the users from signature campaigns are from Phillipines, and i dont have nothing agains them, but most of them only create accounts and they farm them in order to spam the signature campaigns to earn more money.
And i have seen this so many times, because i am active in the Meta Section on the forum, and all those who are on SMAS are from phillipines.

Yes, basically Speaking. Moderators know The Reality, That There are Filipino's That is So Very Greedy, in earning Bitcoin.
A good Thing About Filipino is That They are Really Striving To Get What They Want Which is Good.
But, Sometimes They Make Unusual Things Just To Get what They Want But Not In A Fair Way.

Talking About SMAS, I have seen it Too. Many Are From Philippines.

But, in Other Story, Bitcoin is Really Uprising into The Philippines. Which i know That is Supported by It's Government.

Mang Sweeney is obviously a Filipino. And he is the very first to offer exchange service with regards to Bitcoins in the Philippines. He was already there just right about when Bitcoin started. You can look him up in Wikipedia. It wasn't really an exponential increase in knowledge about Bitcoins. It was about believing in a service that never sleeps. Just like Mang Sweeney. The Filipino legend when it comes to Bitcoins. He was there along with Bitcointalk when Bitcoin started. And then he vanished. But then again the Bitcoin Legend Mang Sweeney and Bitcoin will reign supreme in the Philippines. He will never call himself Mang Sweeney if he is not a Filipino.

With something like this, I'll be waiting for some stats to see that people in the Phillippines are actively using a digital currency, let alone using it on a mass scale. Making a claim this bold is something that requires proof and trusted people backing them, something that a lot of people on this forum ignore, or choose to ignore.

So, I'll believe it when I see it!

Well, filipino's always like Free's sometimes rhey dont like to invest. So, bitcoinforum  is fit to those who don't like to invest. As the growth of users already increase of course there are big possibilities that the Philippines's economy will increase.

Whenever the people in a country are able to form a job or become self employed it becomes very beneficial to the country and helps it country. HOW? Because like most jobs in my country, you will need to pay the municipal assembly a certain amount as you start your business, these monies helps grow the economy of the country.

This is a great example of a padded post that 1)Says nothing substantial, and 2) Is a sentiment
that's been expressed a thousand times already in this forum.  It gets tiring.

The Philippines is responsible for a good percentage of the garbage posts here, I'm sure of it.  It's great
that they're so into bitcoin and feel they can earn money by basically doing nothing, but it lowers the
quality of bitcointalk drastically.  I'd be totally fine if one day Filipinos had their own forum on which
to earn money.  I've no prejudice against that particular country, just a strong conviction that this
should be an English language forum, and one should have a modicum of proficiency in the language.
They simply don't have this.

A lot of filipinos are now using bitcoin and this could help us to improve our life economically. Philippines government should accept this kind of system and a lot of exchanges are showing some interest on putting on a business in the growing economy of the Philippines.

So what?  No vendors are accepting it or even know about it.  Those vendors who are aware of it are not interested in accepting it as payment.  It's only something for the lower classes to do to earn extra (possibly) in their spare time or if they have no job.

I can tell you first hand that this is true.  English is not my first language but I can tell exactly when most low-educated Filipinos are posting...and it's true that probably most of the garbage posts here are coming from the Philippines.

Yes it's true! That the number of Filipinos (like me) engaging to bitcoins are rapidly increasing and that's a good thing. Here in our country, we can freely use btc without giving any restrictions coming from our government ( hopefully it continues) that's why each of us are now starting to earn and uplift our life status.

Well, bitcoins will definitely provide a great impact in our economy but the question is, does our government will allow this idea of cryptocurrency?

Hopefully yes since some of the exchanges show some interest on doing business here in our country. But as i read some post about the quality posting of some Filipinos we should be more responsible when commenting on every topic, we should make a quality one so we can protect the image of Filipinos in this forum. We should be more competent while we are learning more about bitcoin.

Right as the volume of Filipinos continues to use bitcoin we should be more responsible when it comes to posting here on the forum so we can communicate well to other people and remain on topic. This growing number will surely have an effect on our economy and government should also support this one.

The growth in terms of individual economic status gets improved. This doesn't make a big change over the country's economy until there is a positive acceptance for the digital currency usage. I believe Philippines government is going in a neutral way, which might make changes.

Bitcoin in the country of Philippines was already popular even it was not yet fully adopted or legalized a lot of people using bitcoin and earn with bitcoin. I think that soon government will start to know how to accept bitcoin and being part of Philippine currency that people can able to used in all aspects.

well actually theres some Vendors allowed bitcoin to be a payment though they are on a minimal rate and it is not only for some spare time jobs mostly in philippines have give their time almost all on bitcoin discussions or creating some other jobs on this forum . Economical status on philippines are not yet proven to be great at bitcoin but some are successing through bitcoin and many IT or web developers are in this kind of job because bitcoin give doubled income than their job at developing

There is no denying that the future of bitcoins in the Philippines will flourish since we adopt the "Open Market" mentality.  Everything that shows profitability, surely Filipino will venture into it.  This poverty-stricken country will do everything especially the people under poverty threshold to venture into such profit oriented forum.  I have a friend who is now a Member of this forum who ever since was not accepted into signature campaigns because of poor communication skills. I am a Junior member, you see but I have already claimed my first .000 bitcoin yesterday.  It is a testament that if you do good in this forum, earnings will be a great augmentation to your monthly salary so to speak. But it should not only be that way, we should strive more to be considered big players in the market now. Contributing to the substantial thread/topic is a way to go.

There are a lot of people in the Philippines that do recognize bitcoin and  more and more people are beginning to get curious on cryptocurrencies, however it is only on a small percentage of the population compared to other countries like japan. It is sad to say that though most of the people have access to internet, instead of taking time to check on investments, they don't. It is true that the Philippines is growing economically, however majority of the population are not into investments, a lot still wonders what are investments, and they still think that investmenting is only for the rich. Though we already accepted bitcoin and it is legal, it is sad to say that still majority of the population lacks financial inteeligence. Fortunately for us who are into bitcoins, more and more opportunities are opening, since there are already vendors who accepts bitcoin and there are already seminars being conducted to educate the masses regading bitcoin, hopefully it will be a success since most Filipinos do lack financial education.

I disagree on what Filipino people expects from bitcoin. They thought it is an easy way of earning (yes it is because of it's volatility features, you can trade it on exchanges by buying and selling) but i am afraid that most of the Filipino will just become a hodlers and make bitcoin as a currency reserve because they are waiting to make the price higher befire they selling it. A Lot of Financial advisors saw bitcoin as an investment and not as a currency.

.
i do agree that there is indeed an increase of bitcoin knowledge and popularity in the Philippines.
but i wont say it is on the exponential level yet.
and when say knowledge it should also means acceptance to what really bitcoin is and what drives it.
simply learning what bitcoin is, is not yet the real knowledge needed to be obtained.
.
it could also influence the improvement of our economy as there are people who will continue to promote and use it.
therefore the task of sharing your knowledge about it to other is still just beginning.
spread the news.

It is sad to hear that mostly Filipinos will venture to Bitcoin just because it is profitable but not looking on how good the technology is. they must also be open to the fact that earning bitcoin requires great effort and great time management.

Uhh, why else would anyone buy bitcoin?  Answer: To make money, AKA being profitable.   It's not sad, it's the only reason anyone would ever be into bitcoin.  Nobody wants to spend it--they want to get rich(er).  The problem with the Philippines is that they're ignorant and just come here to spout nonsense.  They should stick to the local boards.

Here in the Philippines, the growth in the knowledge about bitcoin is drastically exponential. Could bitcoin possibly influence the improvement and advancement of the Philippine's economical status? In what aspects?

So what?  No vendors are accepting it or even know about it.  Those vendors who are aware of it are not interested in accepting it as payment.  It's only something for the lower classes to do to earn extra (possibly) in their spare time or if they have no job.

That may be so but then I think there will be more developments and adoptions for Bitcoin in the incoming years because of the growing number of bitcoin users in the Philippines. Soon, there could be more merchants that would accept bitcoin as a payment system. I beg to disagree that it is only something for the lower class; although it is true that there are A LOT from that class who utilize bitcoin. I believe there to be number of businessmen and those from the middle class who know of and invest in Bitcoin. It is presently being more attention in the business sector.

I think that those from the lower class has been taking advantage of the opportunity given by bitcoin especially those who don't have regular jobs. It gives them the convenience of earning even when they're just at home. I believe that it's a big help for them and it could alleviate some of the burden that they have in paying their daily expenses.

Im also thinking about this, bitcoin in the philippines is now widely spread, i think bitcoin can help the economic status of the country because bitcoin is accepted in some countries like US and countries in europe, they can use it to buy an items and raw materials, not only for military but also for industry.

Here in the Philippines, the growth in the knowledge about bitcoin is drastically exponential. Could bitcoin possibly influence the improvement and advancement of the Philippine's economical status? In what aspects?
Yes Philippines is very active to bitcoin. Well in-fact I know plenty of Filipinos who are into bitcoin. It is not that because they just have knowledge to bitcoin, but it is because of the capability of bitcoin to let them gain money while learning. Filipinos are really hardworking especially when they gain money, I'm not saying that Filipinos are into money only but we really need money to improve due to low on technology advancement. Well bitcoin on the other hand improves Philippine's economical status, because it can let them earn money even if they don't leave their job and it also let them know what is happening in the modern technology world.

I can tell you first hand that this is true.  English is not my first language but I can tell exactly when most low-educated Filipinos are posting...and it's true that probably most of the garbage posts here are coming from the Philippines.

It is true that most of that post comes from filipino's but some of them are very good in cOnstructing and speaks english fluently..
Making bitcoin is good like from Philippines because lots of filipino's suffers from poverty and I think bitcoin is one of the good answer to that.....  in fact Philippines is one of the most poorest country in the chart .
Bitcoin can improve their life  and also the economy if EVER

for the advancement of a country maybe bitcoin does not contribute to it, but for individual progress may be very necessary bitcoin. there is no clear legal basis and tax arrangement that makes bitcoin not counted in a country.

In the growth of economic activities if the govt catches the opportunity to help start up to grow. The condition can be opposite if the govt acts China, Ban bitcoin exchangers and ICO. The most important thing is rule. Rule that can protect investors or any parties who involved in cryptocurrecies and bitcoin. When the govt sees bitcoin as a threat to the hegemony, that's the end of opportunity in the country, better search other countries to grow up.

The Philippines is obviously the country. Filipinos is the citizen of The Philippines (obviously).
The Philippines is ignorant on bitcoin is wrong. Generalizing that all Filipinos here in bitcointalk are nonsense posters and just go here for the profit is wrong. I understand your statement because it is true that a lot of Filipino here are just shitposting for the money and i know that it is wrong and not justifiable. but then again. Not all of them are shitposters and just go by the money.

If you really want to atleast decrease some of the Filipino shitposters, we can report their post or add create a list to add them to ignore their posts. I am also a Filipino but i do agree that a lot of posters here who posts nonsense are mostly Filipino. And i think it is their responsibility to be "somehow" atleast fix their grammar and improve their posting qualities and be open on learning the technologies about bitcoin. I am also not good on my grammar, but i keep on learning in order for me to have a better quality posts.

Yup definitely many people in the Philippines are now engage in bitcoin because it is one of the fastest and easiest way to earn money. If the bitcoins provide as extra source of income and can help the Filipino to gain to extra knowledge and ideas then I guess this could drastically help our financial stability in our economy not just on the part of the people but also the community.

It is nice to see someone here talking about the Philippines, which is also my country and where I am based at right now. The Filipinos are known to be everywhere...as there are only a few territories where we can't find a Filipino. We are known to be resilient and early adopters but what we lack is the entrepreneurial mindset that is many of us would prefer to be employed rather then be employing.

Filipinos are the best in the world when it comes to outsourcing and freelancing that is many foreign employers would prefer to deal with Filipinos online. We can talk and write in the English so well...even much better than those people living in USA and UK.

Now, when it comes to cryptocurrency, we are also early adopters. There are now many Filipinos who are in this forum and who are HODLING to their Bitcoin. We already have one big exchange operating here since 2014 and we have two probably opening by next year. Bitcoin is essentially legal here and I am hoping that the government can step-up the whole thing by opening a cryptocurrency center here in the country which can attract many Bitcoin enthusiasts and project locators.

The fintech industry here in the country is not yet that developed and this holds a lot of potential to help the economy by attracting direct foreign investments and opening up many employment and business opportunities for all Filipinos who are already adept at the world of cryptocurrency. We do hope that we can be a big part of this revolution rather than be just watching outside and wondering what's happening.

Mabuhay!

Technically yes, why? because a country with less people who have no source of income can have a good economical status for the internal market growth is growing due to added resources provided by the bitcoin workers or enthusiasts for that matter. We all know here in the Philippines that the monthly income of an individual can barely support a family and most the time both of the parents are needed to work just to keep their family well feed and clothe. It is sad  to know or face the reality but that is the truth, but that reality doesn't give us the right or authority to cheat or spam the threads just to fill our greedy stomachs. We need to wake up and see that we are ruining our reputations if are going to do it, for reputation is the key to success here especially we don't a have a face to show the campaign managers. Wake up and be enlighten!!!

Well, filipinos really are hardworking and that is one good trait of a filipino however, there are some that are really into making money creating multiple accounts just to farm bitcoin which is not a good thing. Let us be fair with others and give them a chance to earn bitcoins. The problem with some of the filipinos who are farming using signature campaigns is that they are only limited to that source, whereas there are other source of bitcoin where you can make bigger profit. Trading is one, yeah i might get an answer that they tend to use signature campaign as there is no investment needed but that is just the thing, without risk there will be no gain, the bigger the risk the higher the profit and besides once you get into trading, you learn knowledge which will make you grow. also from what i have heard there are other people in the philippines who gets into bitcoin just for the sake of money they dont even know what bitcoin is.

Yes, one of the traits of filipinos is being hardworking and i think that they fit it in this job. But there's some filipinos too that they not share theyre knowledge about bitcoin because it can affect the value. Please not be greedy ,we need unity for the sake of us. Who don't know it will be the one way to develop our country.

More and more Filipinos are into bitcoin. Most of the are those intenet active people. I think bitcoin can influence the Philippine economy in terms of financial status of the people. If more people has financial growth, they will also become active to the economy. They can use their income from bitcoin to have their own business. And also just simply using their money from bitcoin to buy things helps the economy of the country.

Because bitcoin is in use for this kind of problem

It depends on how threatened philippine banks and government is gonna get. I have observed that whenever there is a chance of something that can be a great way to actually solve a major issue in the Philippines (citation: telstra vs. Big 3 telephone companies) they actually shut door for it. This is the part where I don't understand the government. With the fast rising trend of bitcoin, I guess there is a chance that it will be blocked or made illegal. Just because it is a tough competion for banking companies.
But nonetheless, bitcoin will provide for many filipinos to earn way much higher than their salary and will give them financial freedom.

Regarding to the issues on Filipino shit posters or trolls. I think they are not. It's just the same with other people here who is not native speakers of English. I hope you can give a chance to other Filipinos. The problem here is the number. A lot of filipinos in bitcointalk are confirmed not good in writing in English Language.

Yes. We can. Just helping each other here at bitcoin. We can also communicate on the other country and our economics can improve just talk and negotiate on the other people.

It is now 9:45 in the Philippines so many of shit posting will begin...like the post above.  It's utter and complete nonsense.  Can a moderator make sense of what was just said?  After all, that's the purpose of moderators.  I'm not suggesting banning access of the Philippines to these forums but people that post like this...who make up about 90% of posts on these forums....might deserve a penalty to their precious post count or banned altogether.  Make them learn enough English as to not write total nonsense or ban their account and make them create a new account when they have the requisite skills to post on an English forum.  If they are really serious they'll get it right on the 2nd or 3rd try.

yes it may affect and it may not. It may affect our economy when our country absorbs the cryptocurrency platforms and especially bitcoin but on the other hand it may not if the politics will still be our number one problem in the country.

I guess bitcoin can play a major role in the economic stability of a certain country, If the financial status of a person increases or change positively because of bitcoin then they can acquire goods and sustain the expenses for their basic needs and even some sort of leisure in that sense the economy will grow and so the country will benefit.

I doubt someone in the Philippines could afford a whole Bitcoin. I think ICOs would have much greater chance of changing peoples lives over there due to the cheap entry price.

Not sure about any uproar over Bitcoin in the Philippines, but these garbage posts are certainly causing an uproar in this forum.  Angry

Trying to stay OT, it is pretty obvious that the uptake of Bitcoin is higher in countries with a devaluing currency. The Peso has been pretty weak vs. USD in the last 5 years.

Definitely yes, filipinos are very hard working people which they will do anything just tonearn money for their financial needs. We filipino are here in bitcoin not just only to earn money but also to gain some knowledge about it and on how we can make our country into better. I believe that bitcoin may help us to improve our technology and economical status if we users may help each other and be united. Also if all filipinos would not be selfish as well.

Yes it has been a major source of income for many Filipinos who's doing bitcoin as well as signature campaigns. It is very clear how bitcoin touches many lives of people who are looking for additional source of income to support their finances and with the growing industry of crypto currencies many Filipinos are getting so much thru it which also helps the economy of the Philippines.

I think that the Philippines is kind of behind in terms of technology and innovations but once they get a hand of it, they are easy to adapt and passing on the information to their peers are unstoppable. It's a good thing about them that they are resourceful in looking for opportunities to earn a living. Just sad how sometimes some carry the name of the race in a bad light.

The influence of bitcoin in the Philippines is gradually increasing in fact that because of that there are companies that is created for the purpose of transacting bitcoins. an example of this is coins.ph  which you can send, convert your bitcoins to local currency and you can also pay your bills by using their service. In fact that many Filipinos who don't have a stable job are now earning income by working online paid by bitcoins. Which means they have now financial freedom which really helps the economy of a country. because when ever you buy something you are paying a tax and if that money you are using are from bitcoins earnings that sure is a proof that bitcoins helps the economy.

Thank you for this statement. We cannot excuse that we are lacking on english grammar, because if others can,Filipinos can learn also. Reporting is also another way for them to check out themselves and see if they are posting shitty or constructively. As I am also learning to know English grammar and create more constructive sentences. As a part of Bitcointalk, Whatever it's nationality or race, Let's report a shitpost.

I can still remember back in 2015. I only know really few people using bitcoin services. I cannot even see any posts from my friends regarding bitcoin. But now is a very different story people are talking about it anywhere.

Sadly most of this persons from the Philippines  do not truly understand bitcoin is. All they are aiming for is its benefits and one thing that really  got my attention is that they are entering into scam sites plus promoting it.

Philippines is a great avenue for investment like Bitcoin. Filipinos are very open minded when it comes to technology and improvement. As seen, many of successfulll investors come from Philippines. The Phil. Government has nothing against Bitcoin and they should continue that. What they need to monitor are those ICOs and coins who are not legit and all scam. I think social awareness can increase Bitcoin user population.

To those who are saying that filipinos are greedy, don't say that and generalized. I think there are some who are no complying with the rules, bu there are also compliant and you can see their post are very sensible.

So bad to see how people look filipinos here in the forum, but there were really fact, most filipino here totally posting not that constructive posts but just trying to earn btc they try their best with that.

In fact we can see in the Philippines that they are so active in earning btc and learning btc too. They have plenty of group in social media in related to btc and I heard they have some group meetings around the Philippines too, that is how active they are.

It's great to see the growth of Bitcoin in the Phillipinnes. There's many services available that are popular thus in the phillippines there is not much need for using the LocalBitcoins.com service - but if you are interested to see the growth in other countries, this link shows it:

Amazing to see global trade growth on localbitcoins as well (scroll down to see all the individual countries:

I'm Southeast Asian myself, and I've seen how three countries from there are particularly quick to pick up on things like Bitcoin: Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia. Yes, they're "crazy" about Bitcoin and were probably crazier about it a lot earlier than their neighbours were. They experienced the same with an entire slew of digital currencies since the late 1990s. Paypal, Liberty Dollar, e-gold.

Unfortunately, and I know a lot of people from this region will disagree with me, this had less to do with ideology than with the ever-present pursuit of financial freedom - from fragile economies, from poverty, from the cycle of the rat race. The people from these countries are famously entreprenuerial - you need only look at how Philippine has made domestic helpers sending money from abroad its #1 GDP. Or how Singapore, without much resources, has a strong knowledge and IT industry.

So yes, a lot of them are in this for the money. And for better or worse, they're promoting Bitcoin, supporting its use through whatever means - gambling, HYIPs (law enforcement also notes long-term syndicates cycling HYIPs since the 90s)...

There's a complex mix of the Southeast Asian setup - high IT knowledge, low education, low literacy, English as a second or third language, fixed incomes below $200 - that rightly or wrongly makes them appear the way they do even here on this forum. I fit all of those too, with only my income changing when I started working outside my country more than 15 years ago.

But if Bitcoin truly seeks to achieve mainstream adoption, this will be the demographics of its majority. More than two thirds of the world reside in Asia Pacific, where all those traits are similar.

Yes, I totally agree. Just known bitcoin this year and have known more people who just recently been active and enthusiast. What make it popular I think the benefits of it. Filipinos are really hard working and very persistent. If someone know that you could earn bitcoin and gain profit from it, it will attract many people and they will really strive hard to achieve their goal. Nowadays, internet is also very accessible here in the Philippines, there are lots of promos to have low cost data usage so the more people use the internet, the more people will know about bitcoin. By the way, I'm a Filipino too.Smiley

most likely users of the signature competition are from the Philippines, and they have their signature contest to earn more money.
And I've seen this often, because I'm active in the Meta section of this forum, and everyone in SMAS comes from phillipines

A lot of filipinos are now using bitcoin and this could help us to improve our life economically. Philippines government should accept this kind of system and a lot of exchanges are showing some interest on putting on a business in the growing economy of the Philippines.
Filipino people was a trying hard to learn about bitcoin to aiming for those they earning from bitcoin, they adopt bitcoin in oder to have an extra income for their basic needs. Who knows more using bitcoin are filipino people maybe someday also their government legalize bitcoin and many companies will using bitcoin in paying online.

Good to know that the bitcoin economy in Philippines is growing and I know that Filipino's are starting to become crazy about bitcoin and not only you people but all other races too. And I saw a thread here before that the central bank there approved bitcoin and made it legal.

Could bitcoin possibly influence the improvement and advancement of the Philippine's economical status? In what aspects?
Yes it will, as long as any country will support bitcoin for sure it will increase it's economical status. In terms of remittance I know that you've got a lot of overseas workers and that is making the economy of Philippines good because of the money that coming from your fellow countrymen throughout the world and this can happen with bitcoin too.

Philippines has already allowed bitcoin as a remittance currency.Recently,it has also granted license for two bitcoin exchanges.Philippinese who work abroad have found bitcoin as the best way to send their earnings to their home country. So,the government has taken a stand much friendly to bitcoin.

Bitcoin platforms like Coins.ph, BuyBitcoin.ph and Rebit.ph, are so much popular in Philippines as they have simple user interfaces.

Philippines has a well established Bitcoin infrastructure  and definitely, bitcoin related businesses have a very good future in philippines.

I doubt... I am currently in the Philippines and most people from here who use bitcoins do not really know what bitcoin is all about. Majority of the people involved in bitcoins who I met earn them thru faucets and they don't even know that Poloniex nor Bitfinex exists. Probably, its because the government likes our people to remain uneducated financially so that they can keep them under control. On the other hand, I guess once the Filipinos learned the full concept of cryptocurrency, the government itself will be useless.

I can still remember back in 2015. I only know really few people using bitcoin services. I cannot even see any posts from my friends regarding bitcoin. But now is a very different story people are talking about it anywhere.

Sadly most of this persons from the Philippines  do not truly understand bitcoin is. All they are aiming for is its benefits and one thing that really  got my attention is that they are entering into scam sites plus promoting it.
it would be nice if made some groups that can provide important information about scam-scam webs that can harm your own community and generally community bitcoin new users in the Philippines

This is entirely true, in fact, bitcoin growth in the Philippines has been featured in ABS CBN News (http://news.abs-cbn.com/business/10/16/17/bitcoin-use-grows-in-philippines-regulators-flex-muscle). In my opinion, here in the Philippines, bitcoin would be very beneficial once most of the Filipinos have learned about bitcoin, surely our economy will boost but surely, the corrupt politicians and businessmen will take advantage of it and use it as a vehicle for money laundering. There should be more advertisement and seminars for the people to learn more about bitcoin and make use of it as their investment vehicle.

Filipinos like Bitcoin too much. and Most of them are Students. They see the beauty and capability in earning Money using Bitcoin. they accept Bitcoin as if its' like a Company that offers them Work without any requirements. I heard some of my Friends are doing good in Bitcoin but in a good way. So I can say that not all Filipinos are greedy. They just want to earn Money to save for their future, or maybe to buy what they want. sooner or later, every Filipino citizen will hear about Bitcoin. and who knows, maybe Bitcoin can improve the Economic status of the Philippines.

I've witnessed the growth of bitcoin since the past few years. I'm not that holding a lot of bitcoin but seeing the growth of bitcoin is a treasure to me. I see the price of bitcoin very low and when the price increases there's a lot of Filipino's that are starting to give their eyes to bitcoin. The industry pumped up a lot of investors since there are some aspiring investors that are willing to spend hundreds and thousands of bucks just for crypto as long as they see it's potential. This help the economy of the Philippines because of the additional money that's entering the country.

This is really interesting because it is true that in Philippines bitcoin uproar. On the other hand, bitcoin is not accepted in the government officially. Fortunately, many Filipino investors do a redearch about bitcoin and take part of it as a potential market and source of money for products under big companies. The trading and merchandising of goods become easier in the Philippines when bitcoin existed. Now,there are hundreds of people earning from bitcoin and it such a great honor to be part of it. A wonderful blessing helping developing country like Philippines.

TBH, it does not surprise me that the Philippines would love Bitcoin. All I can say is, make sure every member of your family has a Bitcoin wallet so you can send and receive Bitcoin easily no matter where you happen to be on Earth! And push for more adoption by businesses in the Philippines.

Bitcoins in the philippines is much influence to the  people, because mostly country that belong to the third world have no job,or other income,so the people do,what they can heard,we  must grab a potential  in order to support our daily needs, and in this aspect the economics will rise, the status of unemployment decrease, people have there own investment and support there financial.so this is the effect of bitcoin in the phiippines even it is not legalize.

I think the main reason bitcoin caught the attention of many filipinos is that it is an earning opportunity in the internet. Filipinos love online income. We strive hard to make a decent income online. Because of the traffic jam and the needs to have extra income, we always look for something to earn and earning online is one of the most convenient. And because of this much attention, bitcoin’s popularity grows rapidlyamong Filipinos.

Yes, here in Philippines, most of Filipinos are aware and already knowledgeable about Bitcoin not that they can invest but also they can earn by working online too. Bitcoin is a very big help to us Filipinos as side line or even making it full time job. Also thanks to coin.ph wallet for making it more easier to claim payments and make it possible for us Filipinos to earn from Bitcoin.
Indeed Filipinos are hard working people.

Most probably it would augment in the improvement of the country's economical status since a lot of IT and computer related graduates earn a lot in bitcoin than in their current jobs hence, more income for Filipinos. Many of the Filipinos who are involved in bitcoin even have other jobs, but to earn extra without depending on the government, they focus their time in investing and doing jobs here in bitcointalk.

Bitcoin in the Philippines is slowly becoming popular and has become a side job for students and low weager employee, it helps Pilipinos to make money in a simple way that they can understand.

in october 16, BSP or Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas told us that their objective is to balance the interest on crypto at the same time managing it's risks. i think they also support bitcoin when Melchor Plabasan said "It's like any other monetary instrument. There are risks but essentially, it can be managed. If you want something that is fast, near real-time and convenient then there’s the benefit of using (cryptocurrency),"

The Philippines is one of the most beautiful countries. Indeed this is one of the countries legalized bitcoins. In terms of people's lives there are still many poor people in the Skwater Area called home-made barongs. We can not distinguish it because we are really seeing the situation of people here. that this country is still poor and many young people can not afford to study the parents at school. So if they only know bitcoins and earn money they will probably have extra money to finance their needs.

Well, Filipinos are really good that is why you can find them anywhere in the world as they love to get abroad to find employment. As far as the industry of BPO is concerned, the Philippines is now following India and there is a potential that Philippines can soon take over the industry if not for the fact that those in India are really good in making software and programs.

Filipinos are excellent communicators as they can talk in good English (sometimes much better than an average American), they can write in good English too (definitely miles ahead than the rest of Asia) and these people are known to be very hospitable which many outsourcing employers love.

Now, they are talking advantage of the opportunity offered by the internet and cryptocurrency. With a government that is very supportive of their endeavors, soon we might be seeing new crypto-related programs coming from the Philippines.

Bitcoin is alive and well in the Philippines and hopefully in the rest of the countries comprising the ASEAN grouping.

Yes, there are more people getting to know bitcoin and joining bitcoin too. Whenever they get knowledge about it, they become interested and start to join to earn their own bitcoin. Filipinos are hard working people, specially when it comes to their needs. They eagerly work for to earn for a purpose, most of it is for the family.

It is indeed that the number of the Filipino Bitcoiners are increasing from day to day compare to other nationality. Not totally supported by the Government instead it was accepted in a way but they're not promoting it (As I can see). I just recently look at the meta section, and yes mostly are Filipinos. Well, like what @yojo said Filipinos are resourceful and they thrive to get what they think is good for them w/o I guess knowing what consequences they may face.

I joined this forum for more than a year. And this forum is indeed a blessing for me and to other filipinos. I learned a lot about crypto by reading comments and asking questions. Thats why I am so thankful to very helpful people in the community.

Yes it is. I have heard it from others too. Filipinos are now very digitalize and its just an evident that we are not far from any other nationalities. We are not afraid to take risks and bitcoin helps many people. Philippines is a democratic country. Each and everyone have its rights to do things like bitcoin. It really helps a lot to earn more. Others may risk to work abroad. With this bitcoin, soon it may lessen the number of Filipinos going abroad and may decide to work from home to have more time with their families. Bitcoin in the Philippines is uproaring. More users to come.

Here in the Philippines, the growth in the knowledge about bitcoin is drastically exponential. Could bitcoin possibly influence the improvement and advancement of the Philippine's economical status? In what aspects?

Actually with regards to being responsible in commenting on every topic, we have nothing to do with it. We filipinos have been the laughstock of other race and we're used to it. Even if we make quality posts, we cannot uplift our reputation because there will always be people who will continue to look for faults. But we really can't hide the fact that more pinoys are really diving into things they don't know or understand if it means additional income, and that includes cryptocurrency. All of it is due to poverty. Bitcoin will always have great contributions to us individually on some extent. With regards to our economic growth maybe in the future we will see some great impact but right now I can't really say. We're still young as a cryptocurrency aware country and there are still few establishments that accept btc.

There are still may Filipino who are unemployed. And I agree that the use of bitcoin has increased from the past few years, the reason might be, there are lots of Filipino who discovered the ways on how to earn bitcoin. Just like this forum, there are so many Filipinos that are so active in joining Signature Campaigns. If you are earning bitcoin and you are holding bitcoin as well you will also become curious where to use it. Especially right now, bitcoin is accepted already in the Philippines and there are some establishment who accepts bitcoin as payment. It's good that Filipinos are easy to learn and easy to adapt beneficial things like bitcoin. This might not have great impacts on the economic status of the Philippines but it is helping many individual not just Filipinos but other nationality as well.

Absolutely the increases in microtransactions alone and the utility of microbanking will develop the country significantly. By having applications that link to mobile credits such as M-Pesa projects with Smart and Globe micro transactions will remove the need for banking for the under banked who do not have the income to keep a minimum balance at the bank without being subjected to fees and in effect allow money to be utilized to generate true income.

True enough. Filipinos are getting hook and addicted in Bitcoin. Why? Because it offers someone to experience financial freedom and self-sufficiency. If every Filipinos has their own Bitcoin, surely no one will exprerience poverty or even shortage. And I know that Filipinos will be more motivated to work here.

It is sad that you say you dont have prejudice on Filipinos thinking that they are the only people in this forum who are are not capable of making good posts. Do you think only Filipinos are not sufficient enough in grammar? What about some fellows here form other part of Asia? Some indian fellows, chinese, indonesians and a lot more. I've read a lot of their posts and most are not even better than filipinos' grammar. But anyway, what you've said is plainly your own opinion and i respect you for that.

I think it will affect the Philippines indirectly but still on the neutral grounds. What I mean is that those who are working with bitcoins can earn money and a number of user on these workers maybe be having a business locally thus it will help them to improve their status because of the additional income. On the other hand it maybe not advantageous on government side since it is not yet on their jurisdiction that hinders them to profit from bitcoins.

No, that's not true, people here who would stay with bitcoin will miss the opportunity to have a real life job. Besides, the micro jobs here I think won't last long, I am wondering how would signature campaign participants would react to it if in case this forum prohibit this. In what I am seeing, most of those who say they have an online job are earning bitcoin, and mostly from this site, the rest, ponzis.

I doubt it also if this could really reduce unemployment here, since only few has internet connection, and its not cheap, some are depending on VPNs.

I haven't heard of any establishment too that is accepting bitcoin, so without those local exchanges, I think bitcoin won't be dependable here.

I also see the development of the philippines very rapidly, the philippines population has a lot to know about bitcoin. they also have created a bounty campaign as a place of income and a place to invest. most philippines make bitcoin as their source of income.

There are many people in the Philippines who participate in Bitcoin and they are in every corner of the society, from students, students to unemployed people or stable jobs. They just want to make money so I met so many spammers in signature campaigns. Actually, the technology here is too backward and it is not enough to develop them. So they really need Bitcoin interference to help them get access to the technology that the world has been using.

What's good about it? It's because there are local exchanges where we can simply sell our bitcoins for cash. And if there are no exchange I doubt it that there will be a lot of Filipino's that are going to stay and will earn bitcoin but kudos to those companies that are established here in our country that really did helped us a lot too.

Philippines is one of the active country who is using bitcoin. Almost all of the filipino entire the world using bitcoin because of that they encountered butcoin as one of the biggest source of their income. Well, filipino's always like Free's sometimes rhey dont like to invest. So, bitcoinforum  is fit to those who don't like to invest. As the growth of users already increase of course there are big possibilities that the Philippines's economy will increase.

I agree , as a fellow filipino too. I know thay bitcoin is getting popular in the philippines even filipinos outside the philippines is engaged into bitcoin because we know that bitcoin can be a big help to us especially to our financial aspect of life. it could possibly  influence to rhe development of improvement in our country philippines in a way that it could at least lessen thw poverty of some Filipinos. Here in the Philippines, the growth in the knowledge about bitcoin is drastically exponential. Could bitcoin possibly influence the improvement and advancement of the Philippine's economical status? In what aspects?

Bitcoin is recognized by the government and it's official because the Central Bank says so and we know it's part of the government that manages the banking sector of a country. And for validity you can just read this article about that http://www.philstar.com/business/2017/08/19/1730418/bsp-approves-registration-2-bitcoin-exchange-operators the booming industry of bitcoin and other alt coins in the country is greatly extending and growing so the future of bitcoin is really something that people should be crazy.

I do think that bitcoin can affect Philippines economy in many ways. One is the lessening of poor people here in the philippines next is the ability of one person to be successful with the use of technology and bitcoin. It will boom up the economy like other countries.

For me yes, bitcoins can help us im a lot of ways, I am a filipino so yes I can say that it can help our economy grow in the way that bitcoins can lessen the numbers of the unemployed people. Because even if they so not have any work, they do bitcoins and they gained in it so thats a good thing. And we all know that if the number of the poverty are lessen the economy will grow. And also the fact that banks here are highly accepting bitcoins in exchange to a real cash and that bank will also grow if the bitcoins grow so it is a both win win to us bitcoins to filipino people and for the Philippine bank.

It'll definitely help the ones who have internet connections but without a job. They could start an investment and play the ptices at home with different trading sites. It could even young professionals and students to start saving up money for their own college fund. It will definitely help their parents in some way. It'll also promote good economic investments at very young ages of about 18 onwards.
