Bitcoins price is highly unpredictable and also very volatile which makes bitcoins drop something and rise.Whenever there is a drop i see some people getting panicked and cashing out their bitcoins which they always regret later as bitcoins price rises again.I think holding for as long as possible and believing in bitcoins that it will rise even after drop is the way to profit in future.This rise is mainly due the fork coming soon which could be profitable.

yes this is really right why because the paper loss will be realized when you panic sell and if you're going to sell you should decide fast before it hits the bottom a planned trade is always the best, always think the reverse way of what the market is showing to the public if they are creating fear hold and when its euphoric sold..

It's not only panic selling. There are many names for it depending on who you are and what your plans for the money were. For traders it's either taking a profit (if they sell early on in the dump) or cutting the losses (if they sell in the middle of it). Even if it's just a hoax there are some people that would panic since their money is involve in it.

Proper awareness to every investor must be given to stop panic selling and on top of it panic selling gives loss to investor as well as to bitcoin and then the who community suffer just because of dozen of new investor, so one should manage his nerves and hold his coin till prices go up selling in dump is always leading to the loss everyone should avoid it.

I think in additional with proper awareness one must have good knowledge of trading and investment skill. It is also too much importance that one must have a decision power, because some time we even realize to sell or buy but we do not take the right decision in right time. Mostly  we have experienced that those people who are new in trading and having no experience start panic selling which also create uncertainty in market.

Hey everyone

finally the price of bitcoins is increasing and was becoming more stable but ! Its price is again decreasing now... You know it will be very nice if you guys instead of dumping them hold on to them...
Dumping the bitcoins in panic because of the fear of the price never reaching this high value in future.. does affects the price of bitcoins in a very bad way!
Yes some people get profit form it but!!!it decrease your future chances of earning even more higher profit... And so does for everyone else...

This is what many traders does not understand that price must make  correlation time to time because of trading activities. When price is going up or when we are witnessing upwards trend many days traders will like to take profits and that will couse the price to fell a little further and that most times create panic and amateur traders will sell at lose. When bitcoin went down last month to around  $3,000 last month many people sell they coins at lose price but now bitcoin is above  $4800.

This is very absurd to read that Russia is involved in the fluctuations of bitcoin prices. Bitcoin is the decentralized currency and no country is able to control it in anyway. The increase and decrease in values i041s because of the reason you have given not because of any specific country. We should enjoy the pumps and dumps because they make us have enormous profits with bitcoin.

Dont worry if there comes a panic selling because it only means that there are more coins available to the market and more coins for the bigs to buy. Panic selling and the price drops? There's even more panic buying because they'll be thinking that the price would go up.

Panic selling is an opportunity and we should not worry for the panic selling because we all know what to do and that is not to do the panic selling and just wait for the dips to come up and buy at the dips and keep it in a safe bitcoin wallet for long term investing and that is how you will become a successful investor because you are thinking out of the box.

Panic selling is like losing the chance.If you sell the bitcoin or any other altcoin at when the price reduce to low value means,you are going to loss the profit which you get when the price reaches high value.So avoid of panic selling and hold till the price reach it's original value.Don't do panic selling even when the price fluctuates.

Actually you can't control the people since it's in the human nature why they're panicking. There are many reasons why the people panic selling

1. They're not ready for trading since they're scared that they might be losing their coins (Traders should know the risk when about bitcoin trading)

Talking about the fork, it seem that the trend is positive toward the fork maybe people want to repeat the success of BCH so that they're grabbing bitcoin as much as they can while other bitcoin holders is holding aswell so the price could easily increase because of that.
seeing by that, the certainty of what will happen after the fork is obvious, will be a massive dump because they will move their money to altcoin again.

We cannot blame them if they panic and sell their investment when they see price drop they are just making sure that they only lose some and not all of their investment . I was once do a panic sell when i still new in Bitcoin and it serve as a lesson for me that Bitcoin is stronger than i am expecting. Just an advice sell if you need money if not just hold your coins until you can.

Yeah, you are right. If people don't sell at panics and wait till the price recovers then they won't lose anything but people have emotions and these emotions force them to sell when there is a panic happening so they don't lose much money than they have lost now. If you look back at charts wgere there were panic drops it always manages to recover to its previous price but despite this peoe will still sell because of emotions.

Yes waiting is the best thing so wait till the price of the bitcoin is increasing and then you will be able to sell your bitcoin, in the future the income with the bitcoin will be high so it is not the time to sell your bitcoin and then get the loss but tell the people who are having the bitcoin and they are getting the highest profit just in the short time so wait and then be patient for the huge profit with the bitcoin.

HOLD HOLD HOLD is the most important word used in trading alts. The more patience you have, the more profit you will make. Even panic selling is most harmfull as it can give you a huge loss if you are trading in huge amounts. In trading bitcoins, just keep buying and storing or investing for your bright future.
