People who are emotional or a newbie in trading always panic when FUD spreads and lack of information push them to sell their btc. It's just a natural reaction for starters because I've also done this before but they will be able to sort this out when they gain more knowledge on crypto.

Well it’s true that it is a natural reaction but I think when you want to sell bitcoins so you must know about bitcoin price on daily base because it’s very important for selling to know about bitcoin price otherwise you can be in trouble or you can lose your bitcoin so always be careful in selling bitcoin than you can get a very good profit.

Yes some people get profit form it but!!!it decrease your future chances of earning even more higher profit... And so does for everyone else...

You think people will listen to you? The answer is no. It's a trend among people that if price decreases it is a loss and to avoid that they panic and sell whatever they have at any given price in exchanges. Why do you think whales are getting bigger and bigger? Because of the idiots who panic sell.

We can not do this because the bitcoins are also needed by its users.

So when there's a panic selling we expect that the bitcoins will actually fall down. Especially if we can not stop it, we know that when it goes, then we can return to $ 200 a bitcoins.

I think You should wait till the hard fork, after the bitcoin gold is launched there is a probability of price decreasing a lot, be patient for a while don't end up in a loss.
Also even Within a day sometimes its price dips down and that a good idea , just be free and switch on your wallet notifications you will save a few bucks in this way.

Also someone told me once ^ never buy bitcoins when the price is increasing^

Since they have pushed this new milestone soon enough even if the price falls they will be back on track anyways best of luck

indeed panic sell is a bad thing in trading because only losses will be obtained, better be patient, hold and wait for the price will surely rise again

Bitcoin's price dropping and decreasing is only normal. It is highly volatile and there is no guarantee when the price will increase or decrease. If you will be affected by the FUDs and do panic selling you'll just incur some losses. Just keep calm and hodl, the future for bitcoin is very bright.

I agree, panic selling is also the reason why bitcoin price is decreasing. So maybe if all of us will stick to hold our bitcoins and will not sell it, bitcoin price will stay with its price and continue to rise. But hard fork is now coming so we can't blame everybody to make panic selling. They are all just taking care of their bitcoin. Just like me, I also don't want to lose my bitcoins.

I think otherwise. It all depends on the person himself. If he is brave enough that he can manage the situation in a good way, then there is no way that he will lose his control over his emotions and will go for panic selling. Panic selling can only help you in losing your very own money with your very own hands. You need to control your emotions and you need to learn how to remain patient in difficult situations.

You can not control dumping it is natural with any coins, may be they really need money so they sell it in low price. Do not worry bitcoin always rising up

Of course no one can control dumping as so many people dump for so many reasons anyway. Some dump because they have weaker hands and then panic once they are losing since they do not even understand much about cryptocurrency anyway.

Some dump because they are whales and want to control the market to that effect and some dump because they are regular traders looking for profit. So, it depends on each individual and whether we like it or not, it is a currency market and there will always be dumps.

Guys don't do panic selling as the title says because panic selling can cause decrease of the price of bitcoin. If we can make it more stable that many people bought btc and invest on it we could reach the $10000 barrier soon. I already did panic selling before but right now I'm gonna hold because i know that bitcoin could go rocket before the end of the year.

I really agree with that statement because firstly, when we panic we will not be able to think clearly in taking a decision, calm is the key think what will happen after we do selling, second usually when all people do selling then according to my experience the price will reverse direction and start crawling back this you can use as a gap to take advantage by making a purchase at the bottom of the valley and sell it when on the hill. That is the trick to take advantage when the price conditions decrease.

A lot of the people are thinking like this because they are aware of it that the value of the bitcoin is increasing and in the future a lot of the other people invest in the bitcoin. It is not the good time to sell the bitcoin but they should hold for the long time, and the income of the bitcoin will be double. I am very sure if you will buy the bitcoin and will not sell it early then this will give you the bright future.

People in this forum never learn several times, this things happen in several years. That's why those who did not get panic about dumping or crashing the price value are the winner in terms of bitcoin profit. The main characteristic of being traders is to have long patience while holding any altcoins or bitcoin.

My exchange platform has an auto-sell setting when price goes down a specific value. It sold my Bitcoin during the fall of price during the Chinese ban

If you are investing in Bitcoin then you must have enough patience to hold your bitcoin's for a longer period otherwise there is no fun of investing in it. Investors who are new in this market mostly commits the mistake of panic selling because they are not conversant with the potential of Bitcoin. According to me when there is a drop in the price,they start selling there btc's because they may have a thought that price will now drop only and will not rise .These kind of people should understand that holding your btc's is the key to get huge profits because the price will surely rise.So rather than committing the mistake of panic selling they should use this price drop as an opportunity to invest more.

Yes panic selling is the main reason for the decrease in the price of bitcoin, but i think that now the investors have become mature and they do not prefer to panic selling but like to hold their bitcoin even in panic like situation. In fact the now realized the nature of bitcoin, There is always ups  and down in the nature of bitcoin, but overall bitcoin has a good potential and therefore we can expect a good increase in the price of bitcoin .

Panic selling is a reflection of two human primitive qualities; Greed (when price is high), and Fear when price is crashing.

People who shall learn to surpass these two human feelings shall be the ones to make it out alive.
Remember the stock market is a place where money is transferred from the less patient to the more patient.

In the same spirit, theres never need to panic buy into a pump. In majority of the cases, you shall lose money.

I have a very bad experience with panic selling and it stung me a lot. It happened a few months before halving about two years ago. The price dipped to somewhere around $300 or $400, and I sold a small bulk of my coins. A few days later, the price went up then when the halving came, the price doubled. Nowadays, I hold on to my coins like a barnacle holding on to a rock.

No one is panic selling, everyone is just joining the crash to cut losses every ATH is followed by a rough correction.
Correction is not yet felt maybe because of the hype.
