Not in my company. Here, having a masters makes no difference. Here, it is the skill-set which matters. If you have a good knowledge of coding and programming, then you will get a higher salary even if you are having only a bachelor's degree. Not sure about the situation in the other firms, but here it is like that.

Well, they could get in a company without a Master's degree but then again their salary would be much less than a person who has it.

But it may depends also of the type of degree, I guess that in some, it's impossible to not have a master degree.

Yes.It is very important. Education plays a major role on what your career will be. We will know that a good career means a fat wallet. The key  word here is SALARY. If you want to look for a job it may be important, but if you're a businessman yourself that isn't waiting to get employed by someone else, your degree does not matter. I have my degree, but it didn't earn me any money. In the last 10 years it maybe paid for itself, but that's all. I only got back the money spent on education and I doubt that I will ever double this sum in my life. I know wealthy people with many businesses who made money by working since high school. When I was losing money and time on education they were starting their own companies.

I have to wonder if an advance degree of any kind is worth while.  Now days I think that education needs to teach critical thinking and how to perform detailed research.  If you know how to think through a problem and have the ability to use the Internet, you can find information on just about any subject, issue, project or task you have.  Need to change brakes, check the Internet, need the answer to a complicated math problem, check the Internet, need to know how to deliver a baby, check the Internet.  If you can think and use the internet, I don't think you need an advanced degree for 90% of the stuff you will encounter on a daily basis.
