Is Master Degree Important?

After graduating from any field you join an elite portion of the population. You can apply for job in your field and gain experience but after certain period of time ones need a higher degree to apply for a post or hold a post. This is how professional life work. In our graduation level most of time, we learn about all the things in that particular subject but not going to have a deep knowledge on any topic of that subject.

Hm.  It depends upon whom you ask.

I'll say this: I have an undergrad from an Ivy league institution; and I have a friend from grade 11-12 who has an undergrad from a different Ivy league institution; though, his institution is rated less than mine.  He makes seven figures per year, every year and he has yet to turn 40.

I have made a good amount of money too; but less consistently if you review numbers on an annualized basis.

I've heard it said this way, that a good degree will open doors for you that would have remained shut otherwise.  Whether or not you walk through the door and impress those on the other side is entirely up to you.

It's worth noting that neither of us have a Masters Degree; but many of the people who have worked for us have them.   

So, it is less about the possessing degree than what you do with the grey matter that earned your degree.

You are not 100% correct. Bill Gates was educated in the Lakeside School, one of the best private preparatory schools in the United States. He was a National Merit Scholar when he graduated from Lakeside School in 1973. After that he enrolled in to Harvard, but didn't completed the course. The stories are very similar for Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Ma. These people have very solid educational background.

It is important. It will be your leverage or advantage  with other people who is not finished master degree. Some company require a master degree in a good position in the company. They will think that you’re competent enough to handle projects. Other company send employees that has potential to study masteral degree so when he/she graduate or finished the masteral degree the company will benefit. All the learnings that he/she have will benefit for the good of the company.

Yes. It is very important. When you reach a certain age were you can't study because of your obligations, you will think that life could have been better if you have a master's degree. If you didn't finish school , someday you will notice that your high school friends are getting rich while you are left with just enough for your needs. There is nothing wrong with having ENOUGH but its good to have a life were you are financially stable. Its less stressful that way. Money can mess other peoples mind.

Very important to have a degree nowadays, Because that's the basis of how skilled you are, also company's accept well trained people that spend more years in college or universities that duly accomplished their degree. I believe that master degree is an advantage but it isn't essential and I think that having enough education is what important these days. It is just a personal choice to take and hold masters degree. Our success depends on how we responsibly take and face all the challenges of life to succeed. It depends on how we strive hard each day.
