+2 Bitfunder.

My shares in another KnC group buy have already more than doubled in value, thanks to their IPO.

I was able to sell half and cover my initial investment.   Cool

Have several members looking to buy more shares. Set your price and list in this thread. I am sure they will not last long

Diluting shares has the advantage that people with low amount of BTC can buy your share(s), so more potential buyers!
I am OK with moving to BitFunder, and am in favor of diluting shares.

I am selling in stock OneStringMiner boards, based on the Bitfury chips. Have a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495536.0

true that.

it only works in our favour if the original percentage of shares are retained by original shareholders -so in other words i meant w/o diluting the % we own.

Can anybody tell me a few reasons why they prefer bitfunder? I registered an account and wasn't a huge fan, didn't really like how you could only use the certain exchange.

Either you own the bitcoins(private keys) or you don't. However with moneroj, nobody knows what you own.
Secure. Private. Untraceable.

So it seems that the voting is in favor of listing on the exchange. Is there an update on that? Are we moving forward? Any terms to vote on etc?

Shouldn't we wait until we're churning out some BTC before diluting with exchange shares?
Or am I missing the point?

Happy for some one to explain the pro's n con's

Cheers

I can care less which exchange it gets traded on. I personally like Bitfunder interface.

Also, not sure why people complain about diluting shares. 10btc worth of shares regardless of quantity is still 10btc worth of shares.

I just want to have a quick option to obtain more shares or liquidate without having to partake in forum based auctions.

I took a look at Bitfunder, but am not that familiar with the details of listing shares of miners (specifically what the costs / caveats / issues are of being listed).

1. Are there additional costs associated with this? (Listing fees, mgmt fees, etc)
2. Are there any restrictions on shares? (Lockout timeframes, sale fees, who can buy/sell, etc)
3. How is EOL handled for the fund? (Yield < Power costs)
4. For a mining pool, how are hardware failures handled? (Direct dilution across the pool, specific person is SOL, share retirement, etc)

Sorry if these are elementary questions. I have experience with stock options (employee and "general"), RSUs, stocks, bonds, etc, but have never worked with something like this in the bitcoin space, and don't feel informed enough about it to vote "+1" or "-1".

Thoughts?

Exactly the kind of things that I was concerned with when this business of listing the shares on the exchange came about. Don't get me wrong, it seems that listing on the exchange will likely increase the per share value (at least in the short term) but still I would like to know all the ins and outs before we actually go ahead with it. According to others that responded to my initial concerns, all of that will be hammered out and voted on before the group buy is actually listed on the exchange. Still kind of waiting to hear from Soniq and/or the bitfunder guy what the next step is.

I believe an exchange is a good idea. I would prefer either btct.co or bitfunder. I think it would be great for shareholders as well as those who missed the buy and want to get in on it.

Hey guys,

1. I have offered to waive the listing fee for you guys, and there are no management fees.
2. None.
3. That is no different than how it is handled currently.
4. Also, same answer as how it is handled now.

BitFunder is just a means to be able to account for, and trade your shares.

Hope this helps Smiley

Hi Guys,

I was one of the unfortunate people who had purchased a share in Jupiter #17 which had to be refunded based on lack of shares & dropped BTC value. Soniq (Larry) mentioned I should ask in here as he thought someone might be interested in selling a share or part of one? I don't mind which #Jupiter. If its possible please PM me or post in here

I like the professional handling of this GB, skype channel, etc so would like to get back on board

Cheers for any help

Last update through Bitmessage was 24/06/2013...nothing since then. What's this all about Bitfunder? Is this an individual thing or a choice as a group?
