As far as I can recall, I am unaware of any supermarket chains that accept BTC as a payment method. Having been said, there are ways in which you could still use your BTC to pay in said stores. There are numerous debit cards around that are either linked to Bitcoin wallets or that are able to be loaded using your BTC balance. The balance is then converted at the current exchange rate to a total in FIAT which is then spendable in store. Its not ideal but still better than nothing.

I'm not aware of any whether they are inside or outside my country. Usually, you found ATMs inside malls and Supermarkets but not shops directly accepting bitcoin. You will have better luck searching online, there are some retailers like Overstock that accept BTC.

Do you mean in supermarkets or in general? I haven't heard of 'PXS' but a quick google search informed me that it's something active in Indonesia. If that's the case then I'm not sure what you mean. Indonesia is one of the fastest growing adopters of BTC. It has been for some time and is continuing to do so given the fact that majority of the country is unbanked. Edit: apparently the Rupiah is one the most traded currencies for BTC..

So far, I have not known any supermarket that accepts bitcoin but there are stores already that accept it like subway and starbucks. You can use bitcoin debit card like Xapo, Bitpay, Cryptopay to pay for your purchases. This way you can still buy using bitcoin because they will just convert it to fiat at the current rate. I do believe that someday a supermarket will accept bitcoin as payment option seeing the progress of bitcoin and its exposure to investors and consumers/users.

Yes, at present there is no such supermarket supporting bitcoin acceptance. Now few wallet service providers have come up with plans of generating links to pay on services accepting bitcoin. Recently an news came, one among the top retailer of Russia started accepting bitcoin into their supermarket. Maybe the same service might get spread much.

You're honestly better off using your credit card or cash if you're going to a supermarket, honestly. While Bitcoin could be used for point of sale transactions, it's far from optimized. It's much better for online transactions.

Around me there isn't any. As I know even the big supermarkets with well known brand around the country don't accept Bitcoin yet, that would be the first step. I believe it will take sometime yet until this kind of business start accepting Bitcoins. I don't see supermarkets too connected to technology... This sector isn't going to be one of the first ones to adopt Bitcoins in my opinion.

Not that I'm aware off. I don't think bitcoin does will in supermarkets right now, because a transaction takes some time to process, and the fee is high for small buys. On the other hand real estate owners support to bitcoin is increasing, and more expensive houses are being bought using bitcoin. These type of buys seem to work well for bitcoin, and it removes the interference from banks in the process, which is great.

Best methods I can think of for shopping in a supermarket with bitcoin are to convert to paypal and use their debit card or go through bitcoin debit cards. Neither of which are good options as conversion fees and other rates are inefficient. It is difficult to buy fresh food directly with btc/crypto. Gift cards are redeemable only with internet purchases that I know of. If there was a service where supermarket gift cards could be bought via crypto & they would send the cards via snail mail, that might work great. Unfortunately, there have been many restrictions placed upon the usage of gift cards and I don't know if that's possible.
This is definitely something I need to look into. I'm very curious as to if its possible and what the best method is, as well.
Also should mention there is coinbase and similar services which allow conversion from btc to your own bank account. Can't vouch for whether those are reliable options atm.

For now, in my region i don't have any mall or supermarket accepting bitcoins but there are soke restaurant accepting bitcoins here with a minimum charge. I think accepting bitcoins as a mode of payment would be profitable as the price for bitcoins keeps rising and the amount equivalent in bitcoins will too rise

Yes, you are correct to some extend as bitcoin transaction also takes some time and the owner has to trust us for confirmations of the transaction. If the transactions bounces back, the store manager will surely have some loss so it is better to use bitcoins for online transaction rather then using them in a supermarket.

The local supermarket in my city accepts Bitcoin. It's not the cheapest near my house but sometimes I come there to do small purchases. It's amazing to see more shops accepting Bitcoins, looks like it's going somewhere!

Glad to hear that we have a supermarket that accepts bitcoin now as what you have said. I know that its not gonna be the cheapest because of bitcoin's volatility. At least you have try it and make small purchases because all we hear now is that bitcoin is not for micro payments. Is there any Supermarket or Moles Accept Bitcoin near you ?
As far as I know I'm aware of any supermarket near my place that accepts bitcoin. But I'm positive that in the next couple of years there will be at least one. Bitcoin has slowly gaining mass accepted, if big companies would just start it, I'm sure that other will follow as well. Though there are bumps that the retailer will face like confirmation time, fee's and training for their market attendant on the process of accepting bitcoin.

I don't think at the moment that there is any supermarket accepting Bitcoin for payments. Maybe with wider adoption of Bitcoin, we will get to see that in some couple of years to come.

Sadly there's none and I keep on waiting that I'll shop with my bitcoin at that moment. Talking to my parents, what do you want to buy at the supermarket because I've got some spare bitcoins that are ready to be sold. And you have to change that "Moles" you've got me there, I tried to understand that for 10 minutes as you are referring to the "malls".

(What's a moles though? Did you mean Malls?) This is a future I dream of, a world where bitcoins can be spent almost everywhere and we don't need to convert to fiat any longer. That's really a dream land for me. I guess it won't happen yet in the near future, or maybe it would just be a dream. I do believe the conventional money will be replaced, though I am not sure if bitcoin will be its replacement.
