I agree that MyEtherWallet ERC20 is a special wallet to accommodate very complete coins of ICO coins. For the mobile version, I like it Coinomi, its good to keep multiple altcoin...Another reliable wallet Exodus.

The optimal variant of storage is the use of two different purses. One purse recommends storing the minimum necessary quantity for everyday use, and the main volume is to be sent to the storage after reaching the conditional limit.

It is better to use the paper wallet for the altcoins.

For most altcoins, the wallet of Myetherwallet is suitable, for all other altcoins you need to download purses from official sites. There are also hardware wallets - it's Trezor, Ledger.

I prefer you to use a hardware wallet such as ledger or trezor, it's the safest wallet that you may use and it allows you to store almost two dozen coins including your LTC together with all ERC20 tokens. And it's highly recommended for those long-term holders.

Im using Coinomi . you can try their service good fast inbuilt exchange service with shapeshit
I have also downloaded coinomi to my phone and I see that they have a large selection of coins that they support.
They also offer the function of controlling the private keys to each wallet,
and that is an important feature.
I'm also using coinomi. They support a whole lot of different altcoins, and a lot of ERC20 tokens.

But for the ERC20 tokens specifically, I prefer MyEtherWallet because its ease of use.
With MyEtherWallet you can easily add new ERC20 tokens that are not yet known to your wallet.
You should be able to do this as well in coinomi, but I found it to be rather hard and cumbersome.

I usually use myetherwallet for alcoin Because it is well secured but you have to make sure you do not let anyone know the key and you have to save it if you want to receive the money.

myetherwallet is the best wallet for saving alt coins. present in the market more wallets are available for saving coins. but present most of the people looking security and low charges for that reason we have to choose best wallet. myetherwallet is the best wallet for saving alt coins so if you try once it is good for you. alt coins has great demand present in the market so try to keep in that wallet.
It would be better to use myether.wallet for me it's a better way to use myether because its easy and secure if you know how to handle it. Since I've start receiving altcoins i always use myether and so far i can say it would be satisfying. Myether can hold long and more alt if you want. To make sure of it be wise to remember always your password and always have protected.
Myether can save a lot and no one cares as long as you have your key yiu can have it, so i advertise this one as easy and useful.

I doubt that the security is good, since every time I log in there, I get a window with warnings.

Only MyEtherWallet + hardware can be secure.

What wallets should i use for altcoins? Bought some LTC not sure what's better

I find coinbase in one of the best wallet to store LTC and Bitcoin. We have Myether, Electron, blockchain.info and etc. Make sure you choose the best wallet and enable the security options given by the  wallet administors. Activate 2FA authendication if your wallets has this option. Its always so welcoming. Once the wallet is opened, you will receive a code to your registered mobile number plus a mail to your registered mail id. These steps would keep you secured from hacking. Always recheck the URL.

Nice and informative post. Was using  some other wallet and your reference to coinbase with 2FA authentication is something very useful to store our wallet safely from hackers. Thanks for the information and really it does help me a lot.
