Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I am using MEW for the ERC-20 tokens and any other coins I am holding on different exchanges to minimise the risks of being hacked or scammed. But I need to get a Ledger wallet to be completely safe.

Most importantly, private keys to wallets should be kept only by you. For ERC20 tokens, it is better to use MyEtherWallet. This is a secure wallet. You can not keep your coins and tokens on the exchanges.

It all depends on what system are your coins and this is based on what kind of wallet you can download. Can be of course and cold might use.
Nowadays most types of wallets use the ERC 20, because this wallet is easy to use and cheap for the payment, the transfer cost is cheaper, so I think this market is quite risky and we Secure your wallet more carefully.

You have to specify what altcoin you want to buy. You must know the basic information. You must know the difference of token/altcoin or coin. The altcoin is a crypto that runs on other cryptocurrencies (coin) platform or blockchain. And the coin is a cryptocurrency that has its own blockchain.

there are a large number of options avialable to you right now. the simplest one would be a litecoin dedicated mobile wallet (free wallet) you can find it on android googleplay market. or you could use the original litecoin wallet for windows. if you are looking to hold other coins, you should download a multycurrency mobile wallet like ETHOS. it supports a looooots of altcoins as well as bitcoins and you only have to save the main passphrase in order to back them all up. it is safe and convenient.

Wallets for altcoins? myetherwallet is a good wallet for altcoins because it is a secured and safe wallet but do not paste you private key in any site, and always check the site if myetherwallet is at a good condition because many hackers are going to steal your tokens. So stay safe and use metamask. Your wallet will be more secured and safe if you used metamask.

For ERC20 tokens, I consider the best MyEtherWallet wallet. If you use it carefully, then the tokens will be stored in a secure wallet.

There are different ways to hold your tokens. If you want to hold only 1 coin, you can use project's deckstop wallet. If you want hold ERC-20 tokens, it's better to use myetherwallet.

From my experience and observation, I think that every project needs its own wallet, because we have not yet learned how to properly combine all possible projects, because many of them are written in different programming languages.

Myetherwallet is so safe wallet and I recommend this one to be used by the other people who seek some convenient wallet for stocking, And we can also used a hardware wallet if we want to hold some big volume of Alts.

Actually there is too many wallets for holding altcoins myether wallet is one of them. I also prefer myether wallet because it's a secured wallet
if you don't share your private key with others or if you not lose it. So save your private key first and then use this without any problem.

Best option is hardware wallets like Nano Ledger  S or Trezor. Other options, please go to LTC website. If you are using mobile device, coinomi is not bad, it's a universal wallet and LTC is one of the coins. Just ensure you copy correct  LTC wallet address before depositing. Check coinmarketcap.com , LTC,  website. You can do this for all coins incase you need help. The website will give you links to download wallet.

Yes, I agree with you, the ERC20 wallet is very good for Altcoin storage, but he must first understand the ERC20 wallet and how it works, save the Altcoin so that everything is safe and convenient for storage.
