Why the hell has the mining hashrate dropped so low?
Where is Artos?

Is it the network hashrate? Or is someone else weird going on? I just looked at the Silverwolf 2nd pool, and noticed the Pool hash rate is higher then the network hash rate. Even if no one else was mining, that should be impossible.

The network hashrate is estimated by (blocks solved/time), but pool hashrate by (shares/time). So with one pool, network hashrate = pool hashrate x luck. Luck can exceed 100% and often does.

I wondered about that as well. I think it's because the network hashrate from the client is averaged over a number of blocks and it updates much slower than the pool hashrate display. So, the network hash was that low but it picked up again and the counter just hasn't updated. It's just a theory though. |

I don't know. He still hasn't responded to my pm about changing the block explorer over. I sent that on the 23rd. Maybe he is out of town ? |

Not sure what is going on with this coin - I have solo mined 78 blocks - and all but 3 have vanished.
This has happened on 3 separate occasions.
Is someone screwing around with the block chain?
I have never had this happen with any other coin.

It's a shame. The launch on this was actually pretty good. Interest was high, price was good. I already cashed out half of my mined coins yesterday though. I'll sit on the rest in case of a miracle but I consider this one done already. The complete lack of dev support has basically killed it. |

Why do devs abandon their coin, why make it in a first place? This is the same thing that happened to HYC, it is really a shame because SBC promised a lot.. Maybe when developer saw that there is actualy big work to promote a coin he decides to flip...

I wanted to ask you a question. How does a block get found by "unknown" in a pool? See SBC block# 52209 for example. There was a pool I tried briefly before yours and there were a lot of blocks found by "unknown" and the payouts weren't right. Yours seemed right, but wouldn't Mr. Unknown complain about not getting paid, since he doesn't show in the PPLNS stats?
