Here the Better thing is that you want to do work in the bitcoin with the job .
Here you should make yourself sure that you are going to invest your that earnings from job and nothing is sure that how much time it will take to get withdraw your money back with profit Because sometimes it will take more time to get the price up for a particular coin .
So here my suggestion for you to have better patience in case of trading .
Here currently my suggestion for you to invest is Digibyte coin , Etherium coin , bitcoin cash , dash coin , posw coin , these are those coins which have better potential and are currently at low price more than half . Yes trading itself is a fulltime job and that too 24/7. Mostly people who have not stepped into trading thinks that trading is an easy job to be carried out as a part-time job but this is not true. Such people always face loses in trading because their perception about trading is totally different than it's reality. For such like people investment is a good option to invest in bitcoin and sell it after holding it for sometime to get profit.

As a software developer i find that it is easy to do your job and trade at the same time because my screen is literally in front of me the whole time. I just have poloniex and bittrex in the background and watch out for steep drops then buy and sell.

To get money into trading i highly suggest you do cost averaging. You could simply set aside a portion of your money to invest in bitcoin periodically. Don't think too much about current prices and just think long term.

P.S. Of course do not blindly buy bitcoin during a pump.

Exactly! Things have gone so easy with trading and as long as you know you are buying in at the right point and inputting your stop losses, then you are good to go with other activities. I have never for once really like day trading as it takes time, energy and sometimes one's brain away from someone.

Short or long term trading still seems pretty much better to me and profitable if you have some good funds to spare.

I think trading is the most convenient to do with a job, this is for the very reason that trading doesn't actually consume a lot of our time. It only needs one's patience for it to be successful. Also, it will not be a burden to most of the jobs.

If you are planning to trade professionally it is going to take a lot of time believe me I have seen people glued to the screen for hours trying to find the perfect opportunity to enter the market, they do everything in front of that screen, so if you think trading is not going to take a lot of your time you are mistaken.

If the OP means crypto trading, then it is easy to manage both our day job and trading crypto, but if the op means a day job and a day business, then i do not think that it is so easy then we need to give good time to both our day job and day business.

It's possible but have to make time for each, you can work in weekdays and start trading during weekend. In that way you can monitor the market and what's happening. You can't multi task with work and trade at the same time , trading needs so much attention that you have to monitor it from time to time for looong hours.

When we mean together is doing it at the same time. But you are right, it's impossible to do this two in a week, for sure you either have a conflict, since trading is demanding on time and same as your job, the best is to choose which one would make you earn comfortably. You are lucky if you are a freelancer, you will have plenty of time to be in front of your computer.

With that said, it depends on the kind of work you have and the time left to you after it and of course your choice.

Job must be your top priority because it's your regular income. Yes trading is hard but it can be learn using the internet and some advice with your friend who are experienced traders.Dont be shy to ask some help, be confident and show them that your willing to learn.

Depending on type of your job.If you are a teacher then you can really get good time in free periods to continue your online trading business, But if your job is too much tough and find it hard then you can face some problems and will need some extra hard work to continue both your job and trading etc.

Well its need a time to do technical analysis and researching what a good altcoin to find, but after you find the altcoin you want to invest and had good criteria, you have a lot of spare time so you can focus on your real life job.
