Some Asian countries are developing economy, of course with the inclusion of bitcoin this can open the opportunity of every people to be able to get a better finance opportunity.
Thailand has a high interest in the field of tourism, hopefully the government can accommodate deposit facilities and bitcoin withdraw is easier in the country.
Bitcoin is getting more popular around the globe with more people earnings on it and getting rich. it has now starting to conquered the asia not only thailand, and there is a big possibility that it will become the one currency that the whole world will use.

The good news is that in Thailand has received bitcoin as a legitimate means of financial transactions, in my country there are regulations that citizens are prohibited from using digital currencies including bitcoins.

Bitcoin market is now growing faster and I think will be having a digital currency to be used world wide very soon, If bitcoin will become available globally it will help travellers reducing the loss on foreign exchange because establishment will now accept bitcoin. I am excited for the future of crypto currencies especially bitcoin.

I will be visiting Thailand shorty. Can anybody tell me how I can spent bitcoins lets say in a normal restaurant. From what I see the current transaction times is in the magnitude of minutes.

They just adopted bitcoin but I guess there are only few places that you can use bitcoin for payment. What you need to do is to exchange first for cash your bitcoins upon your visit there. It's better to be sure with your vacation there, bring some cash and if you find some stores/restaurants that are accepting bitcoin then that's a great thing.

So I simply get the transaction going from my smartphone and wait for the people at the restaurant to confirm?!
Mostly, stores that are accepting bitcoin does have this type of transaction when you are about to pay the goods or service you availed.

I want to visit Thailand too, this is one of my country in my list to visit hope it will happen very soon because of bitcoin profit.

Bitcoin is welcome in Thailand...

Thailand has had Bitcoin in place for some time and I see the government is preparing for the future and how to en brass Bitcoin. It is not unusual to see a " We accept Bitcoin " In all type of stores.

This is really great for Thai People and the Tourists that visit......

This is the proof that bitcoin are now spreading around the world and this is really a great opportunity for thai and also for all the tourist who used bitcoin to transact easily. Asian countries are now preparing for this bright future and i know this will benefit everyone for good.

Bitcoin is already present all around the world, the only thing is that in some places it has arrived sooner and somwhere later. That also depends on availability on the technologies and internet and how good or bad people are informed and educated.
But this is great news for Thai people and I hope Bitcoin will open new opportunities for them and help them to live better.

Interesting, nearby countries are starting to adopt bitcoin. And most of the Asian countries are now into bitcoin and I have a country that I've been waiting for it's total announcement about it's support to bitcoin.

And once they started to adopt bitcoin there will be a rise to the price. Japan is a small country but look at what they contributed to bitcoin, their contribution was greatly big.

A very good news, hopefully most of the countries in the future are all in bitcoin this will make every single transactions into cashless, we are near to cashless society.

Japan is already leading the way and most Asia countries look up to Japan because just like 80 years ago the country has been destroyed and in short amount of time (1960's) they have already moved forward after devastation and there's no stopping that country.

That's why a lot of its Asean neighbor is like looking for them in terms of its economic growth. And since they have accepted bitcoin, its likely that the neighbors will follow just like Thailand who is a haven for tourist with its sandy beaches and tourist spots. So its a brave move for the country and the effects will be felt on the tourism sector.

that's great to hear. At least one country is trying to adopt it and doesn't try banning it like others (hi, China). In general, the faster we get into adoption the better, there are already some countries who have this high on their list, Thailand, Singapore and Japan are only some examples. You might notice these countries are generally well developed and technologically save (especially the Japanese) which is easier for them to imagine a digital currency taking over, because they've seen so many things already that any new innovation sounds like a good idea to them (even though Blockchain is really a breakthrough). What I hope, is to see more countries adopt the currency, especially the one's that need it, like Venezuela, there are already high adoption rates in that region and it's really helpful and necessary for the people there (high inflation/not a stable currency).

This is great new, another country adapting to bitcoin, i think most southeast asian countries are into bitcoins, if we check those countries who have legalized it and promoting the use of bitcoin. I think southeast asian countries, since most are now developing countries and showing stable growth of their economy, i think they had already seen what will happen if they incorporate bitcoin as well in their system, since bitcoin is digital currency, there will be a lot of opportunities on how they can use bitcoin, also bitcoin's value is increasing from time to time, they can even gain more profits. This move of thailand will help their economy for sure, i think they are followingnthe footsteps of japan and trying to be the leader when it comes to cryptocurrencies, since we all know itnwill be the future, though we are not feeling yet, the highest value of bitcoin, there is no doubt that bitcoin had already produced millionaires, and in thailand, they can make new businesses which in turn will give more profit to their economy and will only make thailand more progressive,  only time will tell when will thailand become a new superpower in asia.

Good news for bitcoin users! Since Thailand has a lot of tourist destinations, transactions can now be easier using bitcoin! No more worrying whether they will convert or if they have converted enough cash. And if it is true that signage saying "We accept bitcoin" is around the stores, this would increase people's awareness with regards to bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Speaking of tourist, one thing they need is to have a WiFi device to carry around the place. Or if they could connect to the store's WiFi for transaction. They just need to watch out for the bitcoin price and the transaction fee when paying.

Yeah for sure the bitcoin is getting famous and all the people are having the profit in that country as well, I hold the bitcoin in my country but at my place not all the people are using the bitcoin so buy more bitcoin and get the profit from it, I like the bitcoin as a source of income and I like to buy the almost everything using bitcoin, in the future bitcoin was not common in all the countries but now it is famous and the profit is also very high.

It is good to hear that a Southeast Asian country is prepared to accept Bitcoin. It is a big step forward while the great powers have not yet acted. Thailand is considered a tourist paradise so there will be many foreigners, which is an advantage for paying by Visa or Bitcoin. I hope Bitcoin will soon be accepted in Vietnamese
